I haven't even opened my Channel 6 set yet because I currently don't have an ideal place for what's in it. Someday I hopefully will.
Both the Blimp and Transport modules sound incredible. Thinking about selling my van, though, so I'll almost definitely pass, even though I want them to get made and look forward to seeing how they tackle the Blimp especially. Not money, just space... guys, I have too many action figures 😫
It's a little hard to tell on the blimp what's supposed to be fabric material and what's metal, though I guess there was probably a moment in the show when we saw it inflated that would answer that question. A printed plastic blow up would like too cheap, it'd have to at least have a lot of sculpted bits stuck on, maybe out of rubber?
I really love the Pizza Club treatment of these guys. Sold off my TiD Turtles so I only have the original 4 2-pack releases. Might get Donnie because of the cool bo staff. Really though, I wish maybe they had upgraded the articulation a bit (double jointed elbows) and added a new faceplate or two, this seems like an opportunity to add in a really outrageous expression. I hope if they make another accessory pack, we get some fun heads.
Yeah, I don't count the Usagi 4 Pack either as part of the Toon Line. Obviously it's in a special box but it's not in the Toon designed boxes like the other 4 Packs like.
I spent a pretty penny to get Bunny Bebop and Rocksteady and also found Space Usagi recently.....I'm all in on the just the Toon Figures. Didn't get the Van, Sewer and Portal.
As far as the Style Guide Turtles....the 4 Pack is the same as the 2 Packs, correct? I mean save for maybe different accessories and inserts it's the same turtles.....I have the 4 Pack but not the 2 Packs and was wondering as far as completion goes....I don't need the 2 Packs right?
If they did the Blimp and any part of it was inflatable I'd instantly pass. I want a plastic shell that connects.
@tmntfanatic no, the style guide two-packs used the same heads as the original release of the turtle figures. The four-pack used the Turtles in Disguise update.
Evil REX-1 is available for shipping on Target’s website if you want him.

You do need the 2 packs I'm afraid. They have the 1.0 heads in the lighter green, and also they contain cardboard accessories that are unique to those packs. Some comics, blueprints and large cardboard versions of Bebop and Rocksteady that the Turtles actually used to train with in one of the earlier episodes, possibly entitled Leatherhead vs The Rat King or something like that. We still haven't got the cardboard Shredder and Krang accessories from that episode though. So yeah, those cardboard accessories aren't just random, throwaway, gimmicky trash; they are actually canonical items.
So apparently the Evil Rex pre-order lasted maybe 15 minutes. Some dudes must have engaged in serious army building.
Guess I'll have to be patient.
I'm ready for it. I still haven't figured out the final resting place for the first set, but fuggit, let's get another. 😛
It's gonna be $400 before tax & shipping, and be half the size as the living room.
I think Trevor confirmed the lab is essentially the same "box" as the living room. It might have one different sidewall or something. The contents are the main difference. I'm assuming the living room set the standard price and that the lab will be the same.
Yes, I believe that the Lab has completely different shaped foam inserts to stick to the walls to at least give a slight appearance that each of the walls across the two sets are individually and uniquely crafted, when in fact there is a lot of mold re-use.
The bricks that contain holes to plug accessories in will be positioned differently from set to set too.
There were some shelf inserts that were used to plug into some of the circular openings/'doorways' in each wall that were shown at SDCC 2022 as well, so perhaps we will get some of them with this release.
