Thanks for the link Bricknator, I'm looking forward to this one as you get those cool gun blast effects.

You mentioned on the other page that you have roughly 95% of the figures so far. Which ones are you missing and are you planning to get any of those at some point? I have almost every figure too, but I am missing the Bugman/Electrozapper pack and the Style Guide 2.0 pack, as well as the street scene diorama and the turtle van. Hopefully I will be able to get them at some point in the future as I plan to complete this line as it seems like one of the best lines out there.

@NaughtyAngel, My list is similar to yours.

I'm missing Bugman/Electrozapper as well and am still debating whether I want it or not. I'll probably grab a set off ebay eventually as I see they're a little under retail shipped. They are cool. I think I was burnt out on oddball character 2-packs when they finally hit.

I deliberately skipped Loot Crate Bunny Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as Mighty Hog and Rhino Man. No intentions of getting either. I do have the regular and Mighty versions.

Also deliberately passed on the Style Guide 2.0 pack, but do intend on getting the Ultimate Turtles in 2024.

Passed on the Van due to the hump issue and now regret that. Hope they offer up more as I do want one.

And I'd love to get a toon street scene dio that I missed. I ultimately want the dio above one of the large Lair sets and just street for the van above the other.

I think the only things I've skipped are...

  • Usagi 4-pack
  • Bugman & Electrozapper (I just don't like them, but I may pick them up eventually)
  • Colossal Napoleon
  • Glow in the Dark Muckman
  • Pinball Shredder
  • All the Bebop & Rocksteady variants
  • The Foot Soldier two-pack
  • Rock Soldier & Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang (but I will pick this up at some point)

...and a bunch of the Turtle Variants. I have the style guide two-packs and the standard Turtles In Disguise pack.

The Pizza Club Turtles are leaving me torn, but I'm leaning towards skipping them. If they all had new expressions for the Disguise set heads I would have bit. Or if they had been vintage figure colored.

I'll be skipping Evil-Rex too.

I just don't have ANY interest in variants and would rather have new characters (The ONLY exception to that rule is April, I will buy any Toon Version they make).

If NECA really wants my money gimme (Toon Versions of) these...

  • Venus
  • Karai
  • Aska
  • Tempestra
  • Tiffany
  • Shreeka
  • Pizzaface
  • Scratch
  • Merdude
  • Tattoo
  • Wyrm
  • Tora
  • Tatsu
  • War
  • Hothead
  • Sisyphus
  • Human Carter
  • Lord Dregg
  • Medusa

Having the The Sewer Lair really makes the Street Scene's flaws all the more glaring.

I knew they had intended for the street scene to be modular, but all those segments make it pretty ugly and not as stable as it could be.

I doubt they'll ever revise the roof sections to make them solid pieces, but I'd buy another one if they ever made those kinds of improvements.

Having the Turtle Van and the Sewer Lair is really making me want a Technodrome Diorama and a Transport Module.

My Grail would be a Newsvan and a Channel 6 Diorama though. The Newsvan was my favorite as a kid.

Evil Rex-1 is basically the first character in this line I plan on skipping. The Rex-1 figure is fine, but at 50 bucks I have no desire to add another in a different color scheme. Aside from that, the only figures I've skipped have been both versions of the style guide turtles and the glow-in-the-dark Muckman. The display is big enough now that I have to really be amused by a variant to get one, and I'm not rebuying figures I already have just to get some new accessories or something trivial. Business suit Casey and the split Foot are right on the edge for me, but right now I'm leaning towards "I don't need this." I do want the upcoming 4-pack as I've always found those street looks to be ludicrous.

I'm skipping evil Rex too.  That's just a big figure I don't care about and space is at a premium. I also skipped all of the Usagi variants.  He is a character I don't need more than one of for sure.

I did get Space Usagi after not planning on it, but he was cheap (relatively speaking) and I saw some reviews that made him look pretty fun (and he is, though he still has the wrong wrist hinges). I don't consider the 4-pack part of the TMNT Toon line. I don't think it says Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anywhere on the box, but I also didn't order it.

I forgot about the Usagi 4-pack. And Space Usagi. And GITD Muckman. Skipped all of those as well.

I think I am going to get Evil Rex. He just looks cool to me and will pose well squared off against regular Rex. I'd get two if he were cheaper.

Channel Six set, News Van, TechnoDrome Room, Generic Sewer dio room with water, Transport Module. I'd down for all of that, space and money be damned!

I skipped the Usagi 4-pack too as it's not really part of this line. I love the box that it comes in though, a really cool release for those that get it.

A generic sewer dio room with a river of water in it sounds cool! I would be in for that. We often see them walking down such corridors in the show. The Transport Module would be insane as well.

Trevor did hint in a recent interview that something "you didn't see that coming" is due later in 2024, and it may be a vehicle. Transport Module seems like a good candidate as the bad guys are sorely lacking in non-figure items right now. It would be massive and glorious if done to fit 3-4 figures including B&R.

SDCC will hopefully spill the goods.

The only vehicles I want from this line are the Blimp (though I would probably only display it in Glider mode) and April’s Akira-style News Cycle

The module makes sense if they just want to do a bad guy vehicle, but it would probably end up being quite pricey. I think the more likely vehicle is the Turtle Blimp. There really isn't much to it, though I bet they'd just price it the same as the Turtle Van because of precedent even though it should be a lot cheaper to produce (and material costs are probably down now compared to when the van went into production). I think they would also sell a lot more blimps than modules and I would be curious to see how they approach. I'm assuming the only way to do it is basically the same approach Playmates took, but maybe NECA finds a better solution for the actual blimp portion so you don't have to worry about the thing gradually deflating. I'm guessing "No," on that front, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did it like those old toys, the Balzac (giggle), where it's essentially a balloon, but it has a sleeve over it which could take a finer print and cover the seems of the inflatable.

The Turtle Blimp feels expected to me, which is why I left it out. Like you said, the "how" they handle the blimp is a big question mark. A plastic inflatable doesn't seem to fit the line aesthetic. Maybe I'm wrong.

Nice callout above on April's news-cycle, which I believe has several appearances.

I also wonder if last year's April's Apartment decoration of the Street Dio at I believe NYCC isn't a hint of an upcoming accessory pack and Dio re-release.

A figure that sounds boring but is kind of integral to the show imho is a plain ole blue shirt NYC cop. I'd buy a couple to mix in displays. A cop car as well, though that's a pipe dream alongside the Neutrinos ride.

I would love to get just one Channel 6 newsroom diorama to put the studio lights in that came with the set.  Right now they are just in my TMNT accessories drawer.  A transport module would be awesome too.  I don't know that I'd have room for a blimp aside from just hanging it from the ceiling but it wouldn't be anywhere near my display.
