Is it shipping by Fedex or another joint?

Is it a heavy box? Does it feel like you are getting a lot of material for your money?

Surprised that there haven't been more Lair impressions posted yet.

@bricknator it’s kind of just an open box… I don’t regret getting it since it’s official but in no way do I feel this was worth 300 bucks. For what it comes with despite the size maybe 125 to 150 and even that is a stretch

Like I said it’s nice but I’ve had waaay more substantial pieces for much less

Wonder how those MUSK things will compare.  They certainly seem a better price value, at least.

The accessory set arrived yesterday. Forgot I ordered it to be honest with you. I’m not getting any type of shipping notices from Neca. Turtle Van just showed up one day last month and this yesterday…. Only way I can track this is by the FedEx app. I have another Neca item just sitting as a label.

The only thing I really wanted from here was the TV and the kid turtles. And they can’t really stand at all well, so that’s a bummer. I’m able to get them to stand but it has to be a very specific, wide legged stance.

Visually at least I prefer what NECA has done for my cartoon turtles. The MUSK sets look better suited for Mirage, Live-Action Movies, etc.

Pixel Dan has a pretty comprehensive walk-through of the lair:

I've pretty much said my piece. I don't think it's worth the asking price. I definitely don't like that it has a pair of stickers or that the foamboard isn't flush, but it will probably get the job done for those who did grab it.

I just watched it. The paint on the walls, pipes, and don't forget ground is a definite plus as it makes the whole presentation pop. I'm VERY happy about that.

The two "scum" stickers aren't ideal and I would have preferred those be plastic, and the foamboard not being 100% flush isn't great either. I suspect someone is going to design a new 3D printed roof specifically for this that takes the one pipe sticking out by a hair into account, and maybe is more friendly to wiring lights and has an actual manhole cover.

Overall it's huge, looks impressive, and I still can't wait for mine to ship out.

Wow, I don't like those stickers at all. Why on earth did they not make them plastic pieces that plug in like the rest of the wall accessories?

The looseness of the foam board topper is a bit of a concern too.

Other than that, I like it a lot and am looking forward to receiving mine soon.

I will probably use poster tack to put my stickers on. I don't like the idea of putting them on permanently.

NECA only have one day of downloads left, and the checklist for the cartoon TMNT line has not been shown yet when it does usually get revealed. That makes it likely that it will be the final checklist.

I wonder if we will have a few new reveals of upcoming figures by this time tomorrow.

I does feel a little bit like the wind is no longer in the sails of cartoon turtles. I hope not because I want the kitchen and Donnie's Lab. But the living room was met with a lot of pricing and features negativity.

Regardless, I'm trying to remain optimistic.

You're right; it's not.  Stuff here is selling at a snails when compared to years past.

It's also the age-old problem that they never have any of the original turtles on the shelves so no one new is getting into the line.  It's just weird tertiary characters now, which is a ridiculous corporate blunder.
