The ultimate turtles strike me as something that's for people who don't have the turtles yet. If they come in at 35 bucks, they'll also be cheaper than another set of 4. If 40 bucks, then that's crazy, but we've seen a hidden "Turtle Tax" before so I won't be surprised. The extra stuff they're sticking in there doesn't seem like it's worth a re-buy. Then again, I bought a second Turtles in Disguise set when the matte finished version showed up at retail. If I didn't have that set then I'd probably be interested in non-shiny turtles.

I posted that AFTER I placed an order for her.

And every Ali listing I could find since she was supposedly first released & emptied out of all my stores by resellers was for at least $75-80.

And the last handful of times NECA's put Toon preorders up, they've spaced them out so you CAN'T bundle like we used to. So yeah, they might put the Lawson set up in a few weeks...after they've taken April down.

And all of this would've been moot if I'd been able to get her the way originally intended. I'm STILL finding Giant Frogs & Battle Damaged Shredders.

Now if I could actually buy one.

Ditto. Regretting not pre-ordering one, but that huge hump was a turnoff so I held off at the time.

I'm holding out hope that they put some up for sale within the next 3 weeks. It's an insta-buy for me.

They definitely nailed the redesign.  I still can't believe they thought that first design was good enough to release for preorder.

I'm sure if they do put it back up for order it's going to be more expensive.  April's price increased by $3 for no reason so I can only imagine how much extra NECA will tack on for the second batch of vans.

They spent all that time flattening out the bulgey hump for everyone who had a problem with it (I didn't), but the half door's hinge is microscopically small? Wonderful.

They WOULDN'T be sending out review samples to influencers for a product already paid for if it WASN'T going to be offered again.
My guess is it'll be a part of their Black Friday sale.

JUST got the email from NECA saying my van should be shipping this week. The only upside to this 2 month wait is it'll only take a few days to get here from NJ.

At the same time you know about the hinge so you can be careful with the upper door immediately upon arrival.

Patiently waiting for NECA to reveal that the extra Vans are going up for order within the next couple weeks.

I was poking around and ran across a black and white space Usagi. I wasn't aware this was being released in black and white so that was new to me.

Collecting NECA Turtles is expensive enough as it is.  You're not going to get them all.  That's an improper mindset.  The extra charges on the NECA store are too much. 

If you want to stock up on Pizza Monsters, Target, via their eBay page, has them available for buy one, get one 50% off with an already discounted price.  They have some other TMNT product up as well.

It looks to me like the new Ultimate Turtles have a yellow breast plate which is different to the bronze/caramel colour that was used on the breast plates of the Cartoon 1.0 and Cartoon 2.0 turtle figures.

I guess this makes sense too, as usually NECA like to ever so slightly change the paint colours on re-released figures to differentiate the versions a little bit more. April 1.0 and April 2.0 don't have the same yellow colour for example, and Vernon 1.0 and Vernon 2.0 are different colours too.
