Space Adventure Usagi Yojimbo is a possibility I heard. I don't think anyone has seen him in Target stores yet though.

I think they've had items only on the website/app before, so he could be an app/web only drop tomorrow since he hasn't been spotted in store yet with The Creature, The Thing and other new items.

So as far as this Neca portion of the Fall Geek Out Event….nothing coming out for the Toon Line?

Nope. I am betting, at this stage and based off of last year, most of what we have seen toon wise will be during the Spring Haulathon.

The Target site is updated for today’s drop and the assumption is correct:  no toon product. Only TMNT item is Casey.

Samurai Adventure Usagi Yojimbo and the split down the middle Foot Soldier have been revealed by NECA at New York Toy Fair. The Split Foot Soldier will be in a two pack with Business Suit Casey Jones.

Also revealed were the alternative heads for the punk turtles, which are based on the episode when the turtles visited England, and the box art of the Turtle Van.

Apparently the Living Room diorama will be shipping just after the Turtle Van ships too, so not long to wait for those that opted to get one.

Jack Kirby. That's one I didn't have on my BINGO card.

Still no word on if they're going to do a 2nd release of the Turtle Van. Fomo is in full sing here, haha.

Kirby has no relation to the turtles correct? As much as I've heard and read about him, I'm not aware of him doing anything Turtles related late in his life.

@swordagent Incorrect. Kirby was a character in Donatello #1, and has been featured in multiple cartoons.

If you meant creatively, no. No involvement.

While about as minimum of a contribution as possible, Jack Kirby has drawn some Ninja Turtles twice.

Interesting, thank you both for the info and images. I'll have to track Donatello (the best turtle) #1 down and check it out.

They will likely release the van again when they release the van accessories that they have planned. Trevor mentioned about them adding some parts to the van that allow the turtles to launch out of the roof like they do in the opening sequence of the early seasons.

Whether these additional van parts come as part of their own dedicated release or they come as part of a second general accessory set remains to be seen, but I can see NECA offering up the van again when they work out how to release these van parts, in a similar way to them offering up the first accessory set again when they launched the living room diorama.

This likely won't be until late 2024 or 2025 though, so you will have to wait a while for the van, but you definately will get another chance to order it.

With currently 15 confirmed figures in the pipeline and many others hinted at, this line is far from done and appears to have a very bright future ahead. It is still NECA's most popular line so these cartoon TMNT releases seem as though they are going to continue unabated.

I love the box for the Turtle Van, Randy says they should be shipping soon.

Randy also said there's never been an action figure based on comic Usagi Yojimbo before, which is factually incorrect.

@tenime I think he was referring to the original appearance Usagi in the set...which I believe he is correct about.

He didn't say "first appearance," he said "based on the comic book."

Antarctic Press released a figure (& some repaints of said figure) in 1998. "Based on the comic book."
