My local Target put out 5x Karai and Leatherhead and maybe 10 or 12 Vacation Bebop and Rocksteady. I think they'll be hanging out with the 10 Wingnut and Screwloose packs that have never moved for awhile. There's a spot for Rat King, but he hasn't been put out yet.
I wondered the same about the fists, it's quite literally a matter of coming down to how his fists were drawn in the comic. I guess given his rare appearances, they couldn't do much else for accessories. 😛
Just saw the new Archie Leatherhead and Mondo Gecko, along with Karai, Rat King, and Shredder. Oh and the vacation Beebop and Rocksteady.
@supreme_d you saw the new Shredder (Toon) in the wild? That would be a first, if so.
The Triceraton Gladiator is now available for preorder at BBTS and EE with an October estimated delivery. EE has it listed for the same as Target ($50) while BBTS wants an extra four bucks.

so with flat rate shipping added on they’re the same cost!
(pedant: “un ackshally, Big Bad will collect tax on the extra $4 where shipping is usually untaxed, so it’ll cost slightly more, and if I order more than just the Triceratron I can get Free shipping at EE or basically Free from Big Bad as the $4 is distributed over three months of orders, so….”)
Just want to applaud the pre-acknowledgement of the pedantry ... it always saves time 😉
I think BBTS does it on purpose and knows that people will start doing the math to figure out what the best deal is, but they know they'll still hook you because of their Pile of Loot. It's a little frustrating because they're just undercutting their own advantage for a few bucks, but I guess a couple of bucks times the number figures they sell adds up at the end of the year.
I found two of the black and white First Sketch turtles at Wal-Mart, so they are hitting fast. I'm glad I'm an opener, cause they had spider-wrap on the boxes and made sure to *tighten* them so the wires were digging in. Good ol' Wal-Mart.

Honestly, from experience putting those things on, if there is ANY give to them, some people will dent/tear the package to get the wraps off and steal the contents. I've seen it with marked down Beats (by Dre) headphones, among other things.
I don't have the original B&W Turtles, so this new B&W set doesn't appeal to me. I have the colored sketch Turtles, and they're definitely my preference. I would actually love to have a single extra of each mold of the Turtles -- the Larson sculpt and the first E&L sculpt just to display their evolution. I'd probably even display each as a different Turtle and make them their own team.
@salemcrow Oh I know, I remember them well when I worked at TRU. Even the dread of untangling the stupid things...

Oh how I LOATHE that process. We can't get it through the front end team's heads that they need to wind the things up when checking someone out from the front registers. We've had 2 MASSIVE balls of tangled wraps for months now, and buying new ones ain't cheap.
My store has four Triceraton Gladiators. Is this some kind of army builder character or a singular character like Zog?
