I'm trying to avoid this line because none of the figures released so far quite do it for me, there is something about the turtle heads that I don't like, they look a bit like an angry pea, even if they are comic accurate.

Man, I'm gonna reply to this old ass comment because I'm also not a fan of the heads on most of the Turtles. Even though, like with most toys, they look much better in hand. I like the raging Raph portrait but the other one seems meh. With Leo I'm entirely unsure at this point but I've been trying to convince myself that I'll like it by looking at his pics every other day, heh. I like the hint of sadness or deep thought in one and the battle readiness in the other. I feel like the head shape design and the plain skin sculpts don't do them any favors, the planeness is especially evident right next to the super detailed outfits. I'm also not a fan of the comic shading on them as well.

That being said, those are some kick ass toys and I can't wait to have all 4 Turtles in hand. The poses Raph can accomplish are spectacular.

Also, is it me or is Elektra SEVERELY undersized? She looks like a 1/12 scale figure. Had I known that before, I wouldn't have bought her.

I guess if you wanna pay $50 for Leo, he's on Amazon from The NECA Store right now.  $50 cuz they want $11 shipping.  Or you could just wait for the Target page to go live or for him to be available at other online shops.

Amazon just shipped Michelangelo

As of right now, him and Leo are both available still on Amazon, with Prime shipping.

I just ordered Splinter on Amazon, it says delivery June 24-July 15 ...

Hmm, so a buddy I told about this after I ordered mine actually had his delivered today.  Mine's still yet to ship.

Amazon sometimes sucks about that. They'll fulfill new orders in front of preorders. If it's in stock to ship, sometimes it makes sense to cancel and reorder.

I'd consider it, but it's out of stock.

I found the Last Ronin flashback Mikey and Donatello in a new shipper at Walmart this morning.  I had ordered them from Walmart when they popped up online last night but thankfully was able to cancel that and grab them in store.  I guess all of this is coming for their collector event because there are a lot of shippers going in, but not where they usually have the Neca stuff at my store.  This was in the aisles at the front of electronics with the DVDs.

I placed an order for Donatello this morning and it still says it will arrive today. It’s only listed as preparing for now, but should I wait? Really same day delivery for this brand new order?

@normdapito you should be able to see if your local store has it on the app and could cancel that order and do store pick-up if you are worried.

Working at, and managing the Electronics department at a Walmart, I will say do NOT rely 100% on what the app or website says might be in stock. While it could be accurate, it could also be showing the stock from the morning, and if anything sold during the day, that will not reflect online stock count until the end of the night. It's also possible it could be coming in on the truck, or is on the truck on pallets and not actually located in the back room yet.

I know we have a massive refresh in the media/gaming section next week, which means most stores are likely the same, and that's when this stuff may start appearing more frequently (depending on how fast your stores do the modular resets).

@salemcrow it definitely wasn't accurate.  It was showing only 2 in stock of each of the Ben Cooper kids and there were at least 4 of each.  Last night after I placed the pickup order right before closing I decided to swing by and see if they actually had them and they had the shelf stickers up and space cleared but no figures.  I didn't actually expect the order to be filled but apparently they pulled the pallet out and pulled my order from it because it was still sitting there on the floor in the shipping boxes after I picked my figures up.

Good info to know though, that the onhands don't update until the end of the day.  I definitely didn't cancel my online order for the Last Ronin figures though, until I found the ones in store.

I wasn't expecting that level of customer service from them.  I figured (and wouldn't have been upset) that they'd see an empty shelf and then cancel the order like with grocery pick-up.

The part I bolded is really dependent on who's shopping for the order.

I have to help over in the digital ordering when it gets busy, and they're supposed to check the shelves, ask someone in the department (just in case it doesn't have a floor location assigned), and look in the back if it has a back room location.

For some of them in my store, if they don't see it on the shelf, they just mark it as out of stock. I have one particular young kid who NEVER actually looks at the assigned isle location for an Electronics item, he'll just come right to the counter and ask where it is.

Every, single, time.......

@salemcrow while on the subject, is the person that actually pulls and shops the order the same person that brings it to the car or are those usually two separate people?

I prefer to let them ship… and now that I’ve checked, as of this post, it’s 16 stops away. Kinda nuts!
