@normdapito You scared the crap out of me...I was like "THERE'S AN ARCHIE SPLINTER ORDERABLE RIGHT NOW!?" 😆
I had realized after posting I probably should have specified "Mirage Splinter" which I only brought up because the previous posts were talking about Mirage figures. After posting, I saw that this is the Archie thread, but I was pretty sure an Archie Splinter hasn't been shown at all yet.
That's why I was so surprised! I'm not always up on reveals & such (I didn't know there was going to be a Hammond Collection Giganotosaurus, and it went up for preorder & pre-sold out by the time I learned about it lol), so I was giving you the benefit of the doubt of knowing more than me, lol. 😊
Since there's been some talk about the comics in this thread: Amazon has a listing up for a first volume of an omnibus collection, releasing in March with the initial 3-issue mini and the first 17 issues:
Hopefully they'll include the issues they didn't collect in those original trades when the time comes. And hopefully they'll do trade paperback versions someday...
I just finished volume 8 last night, so my custom-made "volume 8.5" is up tonight, and man, they are moving FAR too slowly for toy releases. If they go as deep as they have with Toon, at the rate they've been going, I won't be done until I'm 75. I have health issues, I'm not gonna make it to 75, NECA.
Also, not only do I already know that IDW left out one of the last Mighty Mutanimals issues (8 or 9, I can't remember which - I've always planned to do collected editions of all the TMNTA stuff IDW left out, not just 32-37), but they mis-ordered some of the crossover ones already.
I got to an issue that started with "last time, in Mighty Mutanimals #1..." but Might Mutanimals #1 wasn't even in that volume, let alone before that specific issue that picked up immediately after it. *smh*
This guy on reddit says the wrestling Turtles are in Target's system for an 8/7 release, and has the supposed DPCI is in the comments:
F***.
SON OF A G**D MOTHERFING C***...

And OF COURSE Walmart preauths for preorders now.
Oh man. Cryin Hound is a Walmart exclusive and the wrestling turtles are Target. This doesn’t bode well for international collectors. Neca used to sell all their turtle exclusives on their own site or allow Canadian retailers to sell it. But lately I haven’t seen a thing.
New Robo Don't...Do...Did...something whatever video with Veebee, Kevin Mitchroney and Trevor:
Packaged (and opened) Archie Turtle 4-pack, Leatherhead, and Cryin Hound.
I love how those turtles turned out. I'm a little disappointed that Leatherhead and Cryin' Hound seem low on accessories (looks like just hands for both) with how high the prices are climbing. At least Hound is huge. Maybe Leatherhead will come in at 40 bucks. The turtles though look so good. We definitely need traditional Archie turtles on these bucks. I'm curious how NECA does with these pinless joints. Some of their joints are already super tight so hopefully this transition is a smooth one. Archie is turning into my favorite of the lines which is funny because I only read those comics in spurts as a kid.
Dang, need to start saving up for those Turtles. Seeing the final versions brought me back around. Cryin Houn isn’t worth it for me though, thankfully. Leatherhead is a maybe, but I’ll probably pass on him.
I'm only really interested in regular versions of Archie Turtles, turns out I don't really need the wrestling ones after all. Probably not Cryin' Hound either, and maybe not even Leatherhead if they're gonna do a non-wrestling version down the line...
Cryin' Hound is available on the Walmart app. They screwed it up again. If you add him to your "List", you can then add him to your cart from your Lists menu and check out. If you go to the listing itself it won't work.
