I hadn't thought about posing these with Masterverse.  That sounds good!  If anyone has done that I'd dig seeing it.  Haven't opened mine yet, waiting until I have all four turtles and a spot to display them.

The Man Child has a review of Krang, afaik this is the first hands-on with this figure?

Krang looks really fun. I find myself kind of wishing the giant body (which I know is repurposed) was bigger than it is. It almost seems more like 'large guy' than 'giant.' Especially without the Krang middle piece.

@vicious7171  I was totally going to scoff at the Masterverse idea but then I checked it and it.. actually works really well. I didn't snap any pics but Leo comes up to movie He-Man's chin. It honestly looks almost perfect. The only fiddly element is he sculpting style/overall look is pretty different, so YMMV on whether they actually look good together generally. But scale-wise, it does work.
Of course, that really only works for the Turtles, though. Shredder, Casey Jones and whomever else won't really look right being that much smaller than the Masterverse 'human' characters.

Depending on flesh tones and whatnot Casey and Shredder may be able to be kitbashed onto a Masterverse body though! So it could work.

I would HIGHLY consider getting a mash up Shredder to kitbash parts onto a Masterverse base. Now THAT would be sick.

Anyone seen any movement on Mutated Ram-Man? Got a bunch of MOTU stuff in my PoL at BBTS and want to wait for him to hit the pile before I ship (the rest of the wave is there, plus some Masterverse and Cartoon Origins.)

I just realized the Deluxe Krang and Mutated Moss Man assigned to the waste land of Walmart may be part of that Collector Con they are advertising for 3/14-15……..

I just remember what an absolute pain in the azz getting TMNT exclusives during that stupid Collector Con ended up being.

Im freaking traveling internationally during that freaking event.

Talk about take the wings out of your sail. I guess im paying $50 for those on aftermarket…….

Dang Walmart. Target has several Mouse Traps on the pegs at three stores I checked this last weekend.

Walmart……

Thwipp!

Still seeing a LOT of Mouse-Jaw (still haven't bitten yet), but no sign of any of the basic figures yet...

I saw wave one, but they only had one of each figure.

I finally came across a Leo and Donnie on a Target run. I wasn't actively seeking these out and going store-to-store, but I'm still a little surprised at how slow the restocks have seemingly been. I bit too and just grabbed them figuring I'd keep Leo, and if I liked it enough, I'd open Donatello and I ended up keeping both. I still have no interest in the vast majority of the MOTU characters, but the four turtles will look good together. Having never bought a MOTU Origins figure, I was surprised to see they have good ankle articulation. For some reason I thought they only had swivels down there. I do think it's borderline criminal that a line like this uses the wrong wrist articulation, but they move okay and I like the portraits. The paint on my Leonardo isn't great around the bandana so I don't love that. The mash-up approach to these character designs work well enough and most of my criticisms of these figures would be criticisms of the Origins line as a whole and probably not entirely fair (like the monochrome weapons, but that's by design). I would definitely like them more at 15 bucks instead of 20, but given the prices of other figures out there it's not like 20 bucks is that crazy.

I found Donnie, M-A-A, and He-Man finally. No Leo, of course. Grabbed Donnie. He's rad. Can't wait to get the other 3 at least. Hoping Mouse-Jaw goes on sale or clearance (AND THAT I CAN GRAB ONE...lol...the act of dropping is pointless if everyone else scoops them up, like so many other clearances I've gotten screwed out of).

Yeah... that Krang was the only one of these crossover figures I was really interested in.   I suppose if I'll be buying other CollectorCon stuff anyway, I'll add him to the pile.

I think some of you guys might be missing them when they arrive, unless the employees said otherwise. My Target in VA has had at least three shipments hit of Wave 1, they just sell out almost immediately. My experience isn’t empirical, but this store is NOT a priority location, it has a small toy section and some things get skipped altogether, so if they’re getting them this regularly I would think most are.

I know BBTS has them, but Wave 2 is also up for pre order on Amazon.  So, if you have Prime, they are just retail cost and free shipping.  They do have a May 5/6 release date as of now though.  Which hopefully will get moved up.
