Got the most alarming notification for Leatherhead from Walmart. I don't remember what I preordered him for price-wise, but I got an alert "you've just saved 15 dollars, your order is now $75!" for JUST the Charles Xavier Shi'ar figure they had--in a panic I logged in and saw the alert was for Leatherhead in the same order. I don't remember overpaying for him, but apparently I'm "saving" money because he's in my order history for the normal price. (Ordered him with two or three other figures, but I gotta love that Walmart told me they charged me 75 bucks for Chuck. Their website still sucks, as always.)
I had one of these false alarms earlier this year with a GI Joe figure. They'd briefly had him up for the wrong price when I ordered him and I thought they'd made me pay full price until I figured out that they were referring to my entire order, which had included a couple of blu-rays to get to the free shipping threshold.

So I may just get him and mix him with the first set of Turtles. I went from turning my nose up to the line to now picking up so many of these damn things. I found Leatherhead at my Wal-Mart and then got my BBTS stuff in with wave 4 this just week. So much stuff to open up!

I'm fairly late to the game on these too, and I'm having a hard time picking Turtles. I picked up Mike (ditched the wig, not for me) and Don, but I think I'm gonna pick up the new Don too. I like the upcoming Raph and Leo more than the first ones, I think. Can't decide about Stealth Leo though.
I haven't picked up everything, but I keep making exceptions for ones I didn't think I wanted initially. Now I'm down to waffling on Beast Man and Ram Man, but remaining basically uninspired by Teela. And I didn't order Leatherhead cuz I didn't think they did all that much of interest with the design, but I'm sure if I saw it in store I'd end up with one anyways. Hell, I even ordered the Stranger Things crossovers after laughing them off at first. I'm not proud of myself here!
With all these official product images being put out now, is it possible these are gonna be offered as part of the Target Fall Geek-Out this week or next? I just got a $10 Target Circle offer that'd work out perfect for these....

Saw April/Leo/He-Man at a local WM today. First time I'd seen them in store.
Finally received Krang from WM.com and I think he's great! Very jealous of those of you finding Leatherhead. None of my local stores carry these and the website takes forever (as you can guess from me just now getting Krang).
My Kraang showed up from WM.com as well. Still hoping Merman becomes available on the app/website someday.
Somehow just managed to order Two-Bopsteady off Target's site before the "add to cart" button disappeared to inform me that pre-orders are still sold out, like it usually does. And at the 15% Target Circle discount no less!
I recently got an email informing me of a release date change on Two-Bopsteady to November 3rd. I'm guessing a few may have cancelled because it was later or maybe Target.com just got the final online allotment for the figure. The other exclusives in this line came out on a Sunday as well so that November 3 date is probably pretty accurate. And if it's anything like Splinter you should be able to order it for shipping that day and also just stroll into a store and grab it.
Yeah, I wasn't really too worried about getting him, and I did notice the date change as well. I just check their MotU listings fairly often because they seem to change a lot. I got the latest Masterverse wave off there probably three weeks ago (Man-At-Arms even earlier than that) when I just caught them in stock for a few minutes one day. Still, nice to have snagged Two-Bopsteady on discount!
BBTS sent out the processing soon emails for the new wave (April, Stealth Leo, Hordak, for me).
So this site Pop Market has a Mer-Man listed for pre-order with a January ship date, for $30 shipped. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but figured I'd put it out there for discussion. What speculate you all?
I'm a bit tempted to order it, but I don't know how easy it would be to cancel if (when?) they never actually get it in.
I'm not a MOTU collector, but I don't think it's out of the ordinary for previous store exclusives to get released later through specialty. I've ordered from Pop Market before and they're legit. I don't think they charge for preorders upfront.
Target's got Splinterskull on the site for $17.49 right now.
