I can probably skip Krang and Moss Man, although I'll buy them if I see them in the wild. But Merman? I want Merman. Hell, I wouldn't mind several Mermans. The chance of me stumbling upon even one is slim, though.
I want al the TMNT characters. So Krang & Leatherhead are "musts." Especially if they have Metal-boto pieces.
@tenime I don't think either does. Splinter will have a piece and then the last one might be the Bebop and Rocksteady Two-Bad thing. Not sure if the fourth figure has been confirmed. Krang definitely does not.
Only the Target exclusive figures have the BAF parts. So Krang, Moss Man, Merman, and Leatherhead do not have BAF pieces, as they're WM exclusives.
@tenime Vish is cool, old username because I love Vicious from cowboy bebop lol. And yeah that's how it is here, too. I remember seeing flocked Moss Man as well and he was the last MotU figure besides the wrestler ones I've seen at either local store. I'm in MN. Distribution is terrible. I do hold out a little bit of hope that we will just get them really late, like flocked Moss Man. It's a shame because every single non-walmart figure in this line has been easy to either preorder or buy.
Got the latest wave. Mike's delightful.I thought I'd hate the wig but it's a riot, honestly, and I love that it's removable. Casey is stacked with accessories and Teela is a really fun redesign. Skeletor is not my favorite redesign but he's unique and brings something new to the table.
Found my first quality issue with this line ever though - Got Ram Man and his right arm will NOT stay on. Which is a bummer, because, sacrilege! I like mutated Ram Man more than the normal one.
BTW, I happened to get in a preorder on Krang, worth checking if you're still looking!
Thanks. I preordered it even though they have the price jacked up to 36 bucks. It says shipped and sold by Walmart, so if it actually gets fulfilled maybe I'll be able to complain and get it knocked back down to 25. It would likely cost me around the same amount to have someone else ship it to me so it is what it is.
@Misfit it's showing as $24.86 for me, maybe cancel and reorder.
I picked up Sla'ker. Slash is an absolute favorite of mine so I figured if I was going to get anything, it should be him. Now that I have him... eh. He's absolutely huge, which is neat and probably appropriate but it also means he won't fit in with anything else in my Origins collection. I also don't see a great way of de-MOTU-ing him, which is what I was hoping to do. He might go the way of the Donatello I bought a couple months ago and get returned. I think I'm just trying to force excitement for this line since I love TMNT and MOTU, and it's not working.

Thanks for that. I don't want a ton of the figures from this line - but that was certainly one of them.
I too see $36, marked down from $47.97. *sigh*
@tenime check regularly, it says $25 for me right now, and has said that many times I've checked since ordering. This is about as good as it gets with a Walmart exclusive lol
I actually saw new figures for this line in store last weekend. I came across a full allotment of Wave 3 (before I even saw Wave 2) and decided on Mikey and Skeletor. Mikey I had to get to complete the four brothers. I think his design is pretty fun and I was surprised the torso is different, but it definitely looks better to have that battle armor be a part of the sculpt rather than an add-on. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the head. They really should have at least painted the inside of the mouth, and I've always thought the happy expression with the blank eyes style was a bit odd looking. The all plastic nunchaku works surprisingly well, though with Skeletor the chains are fused together in multiple places. I've really only cared about the TMNT figures in this line, but Skeletor just looked cool to me. I'm a sucker for these garish neon colors so I figured why not? And if I never pick-up Shredder (waiting to find him in-store to see if I like it), Skeletor will do fine as a stand-in for chief villain of the display.
Something I hadn't brought up because I don't really care that much, but did the comic in Wave 2 include word bubbles for anyone? I got Raph off of Amazon and the comic is just pictures and the word bubbles were omitted. I was thinking maybe Amazon sent me an international version and Mattel was cheap and rather than translate the book just took out all of the words. Or it's a printing error, and if that's the case I would guess it affects most of the figures, if not all.
