Surprised not more of a push after it funded. I also thought it would be past the Greedo threshold by now. It may be that the tiers being characters that have been made before is not enough of an incentive for folks, nor leading people to think that they can flip the figures? Not saying it won't explode the last day but less confident in that pattern than in the past I guess.

At 9,979 right now, so should pass 10,000 any minute.  Greedo is a lock, now let's see what happens on the final day.

Well here we are. Last day, last hours. Definitely not moving as much as I would have thought, though maybe it is partially due to the July 4th week(end).

Either way it should be interesting how this ends. I am still doubtful about the final tier since it needs more than 6,000 backers today. Not impossible, but definitely a long road to hoe.

Still a couple hundred away from Greedo as of right now. Tier 2 seems questionable now and Tier 3 most likely not happening unless something crazy happens. Hopefully they release the other two at retail at some point, sounds like that was the plan with different card art. It would go a long way to show support of the line.

I thought there would be a bigger spike in backers today.  I was thinking we had a chance at the second stretch goal, but it seems really unlikely right now.

Given what had been in the past a huge number of completist MoC collectors, that there may only be a 12,000 to 15,000 carded Tonnika Sisters is going to spike that demand. The phrasing is interesting - "The Vintage Collection is proud to bring the sisters to the line, each with her own cardback exclusive to this HasLab" which implies an eventual release, but maybe not as regular single-carded figure - I could see them in a two-pack, or multi-pack with other patrons later on. (Much like they have done with the barge denizens, I could see Pulse having 4-packs of Cantina re-releases for a few years).

I may keep them carded for a bit in anticipation of a wider release...at which point they will be auctioned off, as I only want them loose for the display.

@niteowl86 they don’t seem to do dumps like that anymore but rather add them along the way. I’m not sure of BBTS is offering Haslabs anymore either. If so, it wouldn’t be many.

With at lest one tier unlocked this can’t be said to have ‘barely’ funded, which is good. Disappointing that all tiers unlocking is probably not going to happen, a first for TVC but not the first Haslab to fund without all tiers unlocking (Skystriker). So a moderate success to be sure but a welcome one.

@fac they’ve confirmed the Tonnikas and Wuher are exclusive to the Haslab with no plans to release them later in any form. Greedo and the tiers will only have exclusive cardbacks for the campaign and will hit retail later (if unlocked). With tier 3 not happening and tier 2 fading from possibility, it’s unclear if they will still go ahead and release those in some form at retail. I hope so.

So yes, those Tonnikas alone will likely eventually pay for the rest of the cantina and will fetch insane premiums in the future. I really wish Haslabs offered carded and uncarded versions of exclusive figures so we wouldn’t have to destroy carded figures to open and display with the rest of the item. At Haslab prices buying two just is not practical for that.

I hope so! I’m very curious if the options had a majority going one or the other. It will be interesting to see if other Haslabs adopt that option now too.

$5 says Hasbro announces retail Tonnika sisters before this is in the hands of backers in late 2025.

Add me to the pile of confused/surprised folk that thought this would be taking off a lot more now that it's funded.  I'm sure there will be a flurry once people get off work but the current numbers don't seem to point towards it making it to tier 3 (and maybe not even 2).

Also... I know there hasn't been a ton of conversation here about this Haslab but I gotta say, I don't think I've seen less talk about the price in any other Haslab, ever.  It's been quite refreshing.

I think the second tier is still possible, but that third tier is probably not going to happen.

Somewhat silly question.

Do you have to be a Pulse member to order the Cantina?  My friend wants to back it (nothing like waiting till the last second) and says he's being prompted to add a Pulse membership.  If you're a Pulse member, you get free shipping.  But non-Pulse buyers have to pay for shipping.  Correct?  I have my own Pulse membership, so I've never had to worry about this stuff or figure it out.
