Thanks for that.  Just checked now and it is up to 8,137.

So now that it has funded with a couple days left I think this will finally get the momentum it needs to get all the tiers.   It is still a long way to go for the last tier, but I think it is doable now.

@fac Thanks man.

I enjoy doing the updates, but I am definitely not as detailed as Brian Brink who does really great, and in depth charting and tracking for all the crowd funds.  His is the gold standard.

I'm the same way.  I don't back everything and sometimes it can be a bit dull to track something I am not interested in, but it keeps me invested in a way without spending money.  The Classified Haslab is the one I am most invested in so that will be easy for me to update.

I'm not backing the Cantina but I am glad it funded and can now focus on getting those tiers unlocked.

The app stopped updating after it hit 8,000. It still shows around 40 shy but with a green banner saying funded. Interesting.

It shows 8306 as of right now. So let's get those tiers unlocked!

Great this funded!

I was looking at it again, and I was slightly amused to notice that all the figures come with a cup as an accessory. I guess that makes sense in case someone just ends up with the figure, or they wanted to design the figure tray for potential retail release, but given the thing comes with 80 to 100 cups already, not sure that was needed...

Closing in on 8,500.   Let's hope the pace keeps up and we should see all the tiers unlock.

It only just occurred to me that we could be getting "blasted" Greedo with smoke effect instead of living Greedo.

Don't give them any ideas.  The Transformers team is already going down that rabbit hole.  I'm sure it won't be long before the other teams all start thinking about trying their luck as well.  "Blasted" Greedo,  "Coma" Duke with a snake in his heart, etc.

You're welcome other brand teams, just credit fac when you start down that road.  😀

every time someone mentions the cups I chuckle since my brother already printed some using his 3D printer

also got some cups from a trade(as a bonus) a while back from all the previous cantina denizens

@canprime I always find it funny that after a Haslab is funded that so many people finally jump in. No matter how much information is out there about crowdfunding campaigns so many people wait till the end to back. Some of it is FOMO, others waiting to save up before pulling the trigger, and of course some just don’t find out about it until it’s nearly over. Then there are some that just wait for no real reason.

Greedo seems like a given at this point if this follows usual upticks. The other two are still very much up in the air. I’d bet 2 out of 3 in the end unless this just goes bonkers on the last day. I’d hate to fall short by just a couple hundred or less. They really ought to try a late backer option like Kickstarter does for 10% more than during the campaign. It could really help when we’re just shy of a tier.

A Smoking Greedo option would have been awesome - it's not like this line has not done Droids on Fire before. Anakin didn't have smoke but he did come charred. Still no dead Padme or Beru and Owen, though, so...

I hope the new Han comes with a blaster actually blasting.

If I back one of these, I always back at the end. The only exception was Engine of Vengeance when I backed five to try to get human Robbie. Hasbro cancelled those for me.

I missed out on The Ghost because I forgot to buy it before I went to see a play - and Intermission started at 9:04pm PST. I was really on the fence about that one anyway, but I felt dumb.

@buttmunch I think it is the Haslab model where you don't have to pay until the end that kind of enables the fence sitting, to some degree.  Others like Mattel and Super7 where you have to pay upfront probably further enforce that behaviour, because you have to cough up the dough right away.  Which is why you see more attempts at early bird incentives, and more failures.  Either version doesn't seem to great affect the standard inverted bell curve model of backing for these projects (big opening, dip down to low level in the middle, then final days big ending).

Also there is a bit of low information backing out there.  Every Haslab I have seen in different threads people come on and ask if Hasbro charges for the Haslab right away, or later.   So I think that also has an effect.

Finally I do believe there is a ceiling for these projects.  Haslabs are, from the available information, the most backed crowdfunds in the action figure market, and the highest total was for Galactus (30,000+).  So there is only so many people who can back, and pretty much all of us pick and choose.  Either for financial, or personal, reasons.

I will say I have been guilty of waiting to back on some Haslabs for no real reason, especially since  it doesn't cost me anything to back early.

Here we go:

TVC Cantina:

8,829 / 8,000 (+969) 110.36% of funding goal with 2d 19h left.

Nice daily bump again. If it can keep increasing the daily total going into the final day then it could be a strong finish. Just have to remember that it is still more than 8,000 backers away from the last tier.

The timing on this really is terrible. I was hoping it wouldn't fund so I wouldn't be dropping $400 on some figures I want and a playset I'll likely sell off in a year.  Haha.

TVC Cantina:

9,435 / 8,000 (+606) 117.94% of funding goal with 1d 19h left.

Well it dipped back down again. I really thought it would be daily increases in the last few days. Maybe it is because of the weekend? Anyway, Greedo is definitely going to unlock, and probably Arleil Schous. That last tier though.......
