@captaincracker I definitely will! My main & first focus is getting all the big ships out. BMF, Royal Cruiser, Razor Crest, - AT-TE, etc.. etc.. I've been building the collection for a long time, and have all of them except that damn sail barge.
@captaincracker Someday my friend, someday! My biggest collecting regret was passing on that first haslab for sure. My eventual plan is to sell off the rest of my 1/6 collection and use that cash to get one. It'll probably set me back around 2k at current market value.
I'm pretty sure I remember you mentioning you have one back when you setup your Jabba's throne room - if that's the case, congrats on owning that grail sir!
@reefer-shark It just sucks that as such a big collector, you originally passed. I guess we all have those types of toy regrets. I really hope you get one some day. I love it, but I get that it was a lot of money for a new thing that people were worried about. It takes up a TON of space too. Mine is literally just sitting on my toy room floor right now. I moved it out of its display case in favor of the Hot Toys DeLorean and BTTF figures last year and I'm hoping it will have a new spot by the end of the year after we fix up an old extra bedroom.
Who knows...maybe I'll want to buy some of your 1/6 stuff to help you out.
@captaincracker Thanks man, I really appreciate that! If I have any 1/6 you would be interested in, I would definitely hook you up with a great deal. I do still have some decent Hot Toys & Sideshow Star Wars stuff in the collection!
Yeah, the space thing is a huge issue with the Barge for sure - the thing is massive. I remember I think it was maybe you or Sepster that recommended mounting brackets to a wall to set it on, which is what I would probably have to do with it when I get one eventually.
Am I wrong in thinking that $400 for a non-ship Haslab is asking an awful lot (let alone $500 for the deluxe pack)? I could see $400 for a Sandcrawler or something but a modular playset seems like a pretty niche collectible. I'm curious to see how this campaign goes.
I want the cantina, not to display the many patrons from A New Hope to create a scene accurate display, but so I can recreate Star Wars Battlefront II's heroes and villains mode!
The legendary Tonnika sisters are just gravy!
It's pricey, but it's probably the last vintage collection piece I want. Unless they make new characters from the OT. Finally, the Tonnika sisters.
Oh I am so in on this. The dio looks fantastic and finally - the Tonnika Sisters! Deluxe pack for me.

I think it’s fair for what you get. Plus even before the unlocks there are a good $50+ in figure value at current TVC prices, so really only $350 for the actual cantina. Many of those alcoves could have been released as solo playsets for about $50 each so the three of those, entrance way, and the actual bar don’t seem like an awful value. Don’t forget the 100 cups!
The deluxe adding the other side, a bunch of chairs, and even more cups for only $100 more is a really good deal and brings up the overall value quite a bit. Not cheap by any means but a decent value overall with all the stuff that’s included. If all tiers unlock that’s about $100 in figures (again in current TVC prices). Plus those figures are easily $100+ each in value after the fact when the campaign is over.
@buttmunch That's pretty much my take on it as well. I'm debating buying an extra non-deluxe cantina to keep a set of the figures carded.
I'm hoping this thing prompts hasbro to re-release some of the older, harder to find Cantina folk. Some of those guys are pretty pricey on the aftermarket.
Not a Star Wars collector myself, but knowing all the issues with the Tonnika sisters over the years its cool they managed to sort them for inclusion in the Vintage Collection 🙂
keeping my eye on this, super tempted on the deluxe but really have no idea where i'd display it.
I've been mulling buying a Wuher for a year now. But the idea of spending $400 and having to permanently destroy part of that value by opening a carded figure is appalling.
I still haven't opened my N-1 Mando figure! I'm waiting patiently to find the Mines of Mando Mando to put in the cockpit. Right now, Grogu is flying.
Also, this really should have a floor. Even if it's just a colored piece of cardboard - not entirely cheap.
