I don't recall their nature being explicitly said or shown but I never once thought they wouldn't have been Gideon clones since that was the point of that entire facility.  It's not like cloning and forced-maturation were unknown or untested technologies.

Got Zeb, Krennic, and MandoFleetCmdr from BBTS yday. They're all pretty great with minor issues, such as Zeb's 'floating' shoulderpads not being solid with the paldron and cutting under it when his arm is raised. They're separate pieces glued to the arm so there may be some use in simply peeling them off, but I assume there's a sculpted key/lock for proper alignment. As usual for SW pistols, grips for both given to Krennic and MFC are pretty useless for them to actually grip onto; plus the MFC has no holster to stow it. They also sculpted his head small enough to absolutely fit in the helmet if they'd made it removeable; but it's swappable instead.  On the other hand, his outfit is pretty damned sweet and may well be my fave Mando armor design yet.  Love the glittery blue pieces.

I am happy to have them and will no doubt get another Zeb to monkey with; but I'm also pretty nitpicky at times.

"Notify the Emperor.  The 3D printed parts have arrived from the Akron NY shipyards.  Installation was a success...his transport's wings are fully operational."

After decades, a $10 printed part fixed the left wing. A post was broken on the inside. Not too difficult of a fix, the hard part was getting the wings and inside gears aligned. I was off the first time and had to unscrew everything for a second attempt. It's in nice shape and complete except for the yellowing and removal of all stickers. The mid wing slightly pops out of it's slot, so it has to fly straight ahead. A lean to the side will also make the wing shift. Feels great to have it out of the storage tub, but where do I put it?

@mrboshek That's awesome!   I bet it feels good to finally have that shuttle back in working order.  Such a great classic vehicle for the line, good luck finding a display spot!

I don't think I've ever even seen an Imperial Shuttle in real life. I would have loved one. I had to settle for the minirig!

@normdapito I never had one as a kid back in the original line.  But when they re-released it in the POTF line, I jumped all over it!  I remember getting one at FAO Schwartz and being on nerd collector cloud-9 when I busted it open and filled it with Han and the Endor crew!

I've long since sold and re-bought the ship, so now I have a Target exclusive version new in the box waiting for me to finish my display space plan (lol).  But the box is so cool, I'm going to have a hard time ditching it when I finally crack it open.

Damn, I missed reissues too. I can’t even display anything from my 1:18 SW collection, I can barely store it anymore. Let alone a Shuttle Tyderium. I gotta figure out what to do with all this stuff.

That is a tough choice for sure.   I have the same issue, and 1:18 SW won out in the end.  It's where it all started for me with this hobby/obsession and most likely where it will all end!

I also regret not picking up a shuttle when it was re-issued. Space was an issue but now prices are through the roof.

The shuttle is probably my favorite Star Wars vehicle.  I'm in the same boat.  I never had it as a kid, but I got the Target one years ago and I love it.  I have a vintage one with an open box too.  My wife surprised me with it for a gift probably 15 or so years ago.  I still have no idea what to do with the huge box!

@mrboshek that's awesome that you finally fixed it!  It seems like finding space is an issue for all of us.

@captaincracker wow, super cool gift from your wife!  Congrats on having someone that supports this hobby, it’s rare for us toy collectors.   Yeah space is the eternal battle for our lot.  I still haven’t been able to make space to setup that Jabbas throne room set talked about here back when it came out, and it kills me.

I’ve taken over my garage completely though and am in the process of building some display space.   Hopefully I can get it done in the next month or two!

Hasbro Pulse is currently running another Power Sale (35% off for Premium members, 15% everyone else).

Some interesting stuff, but TVC's biggest thing is Boba Fett's Throne Room.  It is included in the sale so if you are a premium member is goes down from $230 (before tax) to $149.50 with the 35% discount for Premium members.   So if you have been eyeing it for a while, now might be the time to jump in and get one.
