BBTS posted the Zombie Stormtroopers from Ahsoka up for preorder. They don't look too bad. And it's not uber expensive either which is nice.

Yeah, I'll need to get Enoch and won't mind having the dead Stormies.

They had a pair of ARC Troopers on sale last week I nabbed.  They look nice, and while they have full hip motion they don't have the good new hips; which is no doubt why they lingered to go on sale.

Interested in the ANH Leia and R2 showed today.

Yeah, that Leia looked fantastic - finally, back to plastic! I'm thinking of getting out of TVC altogether, but I still want THAT Leia. 🙂

So, BBTS just listed a vintage card Dark Trooper for normal retail. And an HK 87 recolor. Didn't the other Dark Trooper go on sale, or clearance? Why are they releasing it again, and now normal price, without the borg regeneration node?

Probably because when Disney moved the release dates of Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte Hasbro was left with holes they needed to fill and those molds hadn't yet been amortized with a second run? And they could be activated quickly? And fit the budget of the figures they were replacing in said wave?

And yes - I just picked up three Dark Troopers from Target for $9ish. Wish the "Deluxe" 6" had come with the same Borg alcoves.

Im pretty sure the Dark Trooper release was to get one on the classic vintage card.   Those that don't care about the packaging should probably pass, but I ordered one for my carded collection because it looks pretty awesome on that card back!

Did all Targets clearance TVC everything? All the deluxes and mainline figures are gone. Some shelf tags remain, but no inventory at all.

Same figures as from the HasLab but different cards, right? 

Anyone else wishing they'd restart the entire SW figure collection from the 1978 Kenner get-go now they've allowed themselves to use a good hip-and-torso articulation format?  We've already got the Vader and Stormtroopers.

Gosh no! People were already complaining about the new Leia not being able to sit - having to hear that about every figure from here on out when the version you want already exists - ugh.

But - heresy - I like the new Black Series packaging and wouldn't mind a refresh on TVC. I know, the card is the nostalgia appeal, but... eh.

Well, it is stupid she can't sit.  One of her most famous poses is bending over to give R2 the plans and after 50years of Leia action figures none of them can replicate that pose because of stupid articulation and materials choices.

Kanan and Zeb are based off early Rebels seasons on their fan channel release cards. Kanan is significantly different, one of the toy groups on instagram pointed out differences but he appears to be almost all new (or at least has little existing parts from the Ghost Kanan.) Zeb is also pretty different but uses a lot of the same parts. Still, he has hos early Rebels season looks, whereas the Ghost Zeb is later season. And he is smiling (personallly I do not like the smile as much but it is him in the mural art so I can't complain.)

Ezra is the most similar. He is based on the Ahsoka look, which itself is based on Rebels s4, where the art is from. The main difference in this figure is the yellow line down the vest is present on the Ghost version, but not the FC version. IMO I like the Ghost one a lot better, but for most people it might as well be the same figure. Heck I might use him as my S4 Ezra and just sell my mural cardback Ezra. Though I am unsure if I will because I am ripping open all my other Mural cardbacks the second I get them lol.
