But that game is PC only and the free version is mediocre. I was reading about it a couple years ago to see if I wanted to try it and, at least when I was looking into it, you couldn't even do some basic shit like sprint/run until you were level 15 or 25 or some nonsense. And backpack space was super limited. And I would guess you'd have to pay for the expansions too, which there are probably alot considering the games been going for like 10 years. So it'd only be worth playing free to try it out, and then to be able to do anything worthwhile you'd have to pay. I get paying for expansions and dlc, that's the business nowadays. But I'd rather buy a game and make all the paid shit cosmetic or dlc then play a ftp game and have to buy dumb shit that should be standard like running and more backpack room. If it were on console I would at least give it a shot but they can't port it cause of the combat system, which I also read was dated. If it were on console I would even consider paying to play it. But even greedy ass zenimax with eso let you at least run and buy backpack space and mounts with in game currency. Or earn some of them.
It isn't as bad as you think. I think they added sprinting for everyone now.
A while ago they also increased the currency cap to 1 million.
You can buy backpack space with regular playing currency.
You can also earn in game currency by setting up a security key for your account. Plus you do earn some while playing.
However if you are only console I can't help there.
I did finally find a new figure today of all days. A TVC Ahsoka at Target for $12.99
Got the new Revan in the mail today. Wow this is a good figure. I don't like what they did with the cape though, how it attaches. I think I may mod it, possibly glue it to the hood so it moves with it and comes off when it does, cause without the hood it just looks ridiculous anyway. But the figure itself is really well done. New hips, new knees, new lightsabers, ankle tilts. All around pretty sweet. He's almost built like the Black Series one. Just some slight differences. But that is also a figure I really like, so I'm happy with that. I am a little confused as to why he has dumb ass knee swivels. But I can ignore them since they're hidden under the skirt and they feels tight enough they don't move much without force. Hasbro is really committed to that poa. Kinda dumb honestly.
I also love the new Revan, it makes me more excited to get Jedi Revan. Fantastic figure, best TVC of 2023 imo.
If he didn't come in a 2 pack with a figure I already have from 10 years ago that doesn't look changed at all I would get the 2 pack with white Revan. But as is I can't bring myself to get it. I will probably cave eventually if I see one in store, or on sale.
Looks like Chopper is finally back in stock on Hasbro Pulse. https://hasbropulse.com/collections/star-wars-the-vintage-collection/products/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-chopper-c1-10p
Got a SW Stash from BBTS on Sat:
Chopper is such fun with his ball-jointed head I think i want that Frankenstein repaint of him just for customizing. I hope we get a Gen Leia in the Endor poncho on the Hera buck since it's the same pants. I could see a cool Scarlet Witch off Morgan's buck, too. Luke is a fine figure but his torso reminds me of a lot of the soft-and-short JoeVsCobra torsos, esp Kamakura's. As my opinion of that JvC line declines with time, it's not a good association in my mind altho Luke's objectively a fine figure that plays *much* better than those shitty JvCs did. Revan is cool as all hell, and I think I wanna fab up a Stargate Anubis off a second one, maybe.
@adrienveidt Great haul! I hadn't thought of the Leia General using that body...great idea. The existing Gen Leia figure is sorely lacking.
I've been looking at that new "deluxe" Jango Fett coming out soon. This is blatant Fett taxing at its finest. There is no reason it should be the same price as a Black Series figure. Maybe $20, could be worth it. But as is I will only get him on sale. $25 is such a rip.
@trunks3540 If the recent deluxe packs at Target are any indication Jango will also go on sale/markdown at a certain point. Be patient and you'll be rewarded, I would think.
Man, maybe they need to go back to doing less live streams and fewer preorder drops because yesterday's live stream was a bit sad. Where's the new stuff? Or at least interesting re-releases?
@crosshair Im still waiting for those to go to clearance in my neck of the woods. So far, Sabine is the only one that's gone on sale, and she went for $14ish.
I would really like that Tusken/Massif set for a more reasonable price, and would pick up extras of a few figures to keep boxed if they weren't so ridiculously overpriced.

at least Cobb Vanth was interesting
I'm sadly shocked at the price Hasbro is charging their loyal fanbase for the Sabine/Chopper mural cardbacks. Not including them with the Ghost is one thing, but to outright fleece their customers at that $49.99 is SUCH a bad faith move. And then using FOMO to make sure people don't wait? There's price-gouging, upcharging, whatever but this is just gross.
@schizm Yeah, I gritted my teeth while preordering those. $10 above the normal 2 pack price is not cool. I have a toy budget that I do my best to stick to, so that just means I won't be picking up other figures that I was interested in. It ends up being their loss in the long run.
