Also, I swore, I SWORE, I would not buy more holiday figures this year, but then they went and made an Ewok and Jawa. An abominable snow Ewok. How do I NOT. Just preordered those two and I know I'm going to get more because I have no willpower.
I said the same thing, and I'll be darned if I didn't break down too. Got the Jawa, Ewok, and Purge Trooper. Tried for the Mandalorian, but missed the window on that. I'll order if it pops back in stock.
Something about this year's batch is just extra nostalgic. The Purge Trooper looks amazing, and if nothing else, having another Ewok, Jawa, and Monkey Lizard for the army isn't a bad thing. Tempted to keep them in the display year round as the Black Sheep of the species.
Didn't see the Snowtrooper go up yet, but he's pretty darn cute too. Don't really need the K2 droid- I'd want it more for the BD droid, but I'm weak, so I'll probably grab it too.
What’s the best Anakin we have already? Anything worth it or would it be worth waiting for a new one?
The Clone Wars Anakin is the best one as far as Black Series goes, but between the face sculpt that looks nothing like Hayden and the Target exclusivity it still ain't great.
Jawa and Monkey lizard evoke the Grinch in the holiday decor. The Ewok is probably going to get a repaint for adding to the crew. I’ll probably pick up extra during a sale. Holiday figures make me happy.

@joshsquash729 That's the tough part - I keep saying no more but they keep getting BETTER. Like legitimately more creative and well done. I could sneak the purge trooper onto a normal Xmas display and people might not notice there's a Star Wars figure in there.
I'll pick up the Mando if he goes back up for sale (I haven't had trouble finding the Amazon ones in years past). And by that point it's like... fine, I'll just get them all, I give up. Except for the Walmart one, i just assume we won't see the Walmart one til April or so like last year.
The holiday Jawa and Purge Trooper are so cute. I think I'll pick them up. I don't do too much Christmas decorating, but I do have a holiday Stormtrooper from the first series that I put out every year.
I hate the price, but I had to order the holiday Jawa. I'll probably get a couple of extras if they go on sale at some point.
So season 2 Bad Batch figures are pretty sweet. I got Wrecker. He’s got a bigger gun and holster on his left hip. I got Tech. He’s awesome! Wrecker is great too but the goggles being included on Tech is Hasbro’s $28 apology. He’s on point. The helmet is an absolute pain to put on. There is a space to accommodate the goggles but you have seat the front of the mask on the face and push down on the back of the helmet to pop on. So removing it is a pain too. I don’t feel a need to pop his helmet on as Tech with the goggles is great. I got Echo too and he’s Echo with new paint. Maybe some new greeble. The backpacks seem to hold well. I like the Rebel colors of orange and more browns. I have Hunter on order and it’s in the Walmart preorder ether. Maybe it will show up some day.

@popoman I'm not a huge decorator either, but I put out the handful I picked up last year in the living room and guests got a good chuckle out of them. They're cute, if very very niche.
I bought three of the Clone Commandos but after opening one I may return the other two. The Delta Squad while there are nits to pick the color gives them more visual appeal than these off white Commandos. The knee pads drive me bonkers. Maybe I’ll keep two to flank the Delta Squad or for use with Imperials and get $28 bucks back for the one. I want those TK troopers. The season two Bad Batch look good. Well I assume Hunter looks good as I haven’t received that one yet. Now to get Omega S2. Seeing the improved Tech head is bitter sweet. I also need a rusty Gonk droid to fill out my crew. Crosshairs needs a Commander Cody to be awesome with.

How good are you at modding? I cut the knee pads off on the top and glued them on the bottom. And then I glued the little peg that was cut off in the top of the leg into it and painted it black so there wouldnt be a giant hole in his knee when it was bent. They look 10x better that way. Painting black on white with not need to detail is easy. Just gotta be slightly careful cutting off the knee pad, and sometimes it didn't stay the first time I glued it because of the plastic they used. So I sanded it a bit and reglued it and it worked fine the second time.
I like the Clone Wars Anakin. I don't mind him not looking like Hayden, cause the CW version didn't really. It actually reminded me a little of Sam Witwer. And that figure still used the same legs the other ones did lol. But I didn't mind them, the legs weren't bad imo.

I know I said I thought it wasn't great, buuuuut I still really quite like the Clone Wars Anakin for what it is. Heck, I like it so much, the plastic tunic started tearing from how much I was posing him around. I think even those reused legs were improved in some ways. The knees aren't as soft as the EPIII Anakin and he gets more outward range at the hips too.
It's really more the Target exclusivity that kinda sours me on it and dissuades me from recommending it to others.
Was able to grab a holiday Mando this morning from Amazon. Still said out of stock, but it let me order.
Starting to get real nervous about my Bad Batch figures. No updates since Monday, and customer service says they can't do anything because they're still "on the way". I'd like to believe them, but I've done this old song and dance before. How do all 5 packages, shipped separately, just disappear? I can understand 1 or 2, but 5? Unless the truck itself just outright disappeared or fell into the ocean.
All I received was Wrecker. The rest were supposed to be here yesterday but i woke up to 6 emails saying "Your order has been delayed. yada yada yada".
Considering the labels were printed on Aug 30th and haven't had a tracking update since, I'm beginning to feel like Walmart is gonna walmart me.
My Hunter was delayed, and my Fives was cancelled. As long as I get Hunter I will be fine, I just worry they will cancel him too. I hope Fives pops back up.
Also on a different note, I have been playing a lot of Galaxy of Heroes on my phone. They have the entire KOTOR 1 crew (except my boy Trask Ulgo). I feel like HK-47 in TBS is a no brainer, especially since Yakface leaked him, but a dark side Bastila would also be a neat and easy repaint. After her, we need Jolee Bindo, which is an easy body use of Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Mace Windu, etc. Just some plain Jedi robes. Carth Onasi would be pretty new probably? I am sure they could kitbash and repaint most of him and just give us a new head. Juhani would be a super fun one. First on screan LGBT Star Wars character, a cool alien, a female Jedi, she would be fun. Mission Vao needs to be made, especially to go with Zaalbar. Then Canderous Ordo, even out of armour he is a cool Mandalorian. Bare arms, a cool best, machine gun. My personal most wanted would be T3-M4. I would get a few of that figure to customize into the tutorial droid from KOTOR II as well.
There are so many video game characters I want, but if we get the rest of the KOTOR 1 gang out, then we can finally move into some more Fallen Order, Dark Forces, etc. I am just so happy The Force Unleashed and Republic Commando are filling out.

While I would love for them to do the whole KotoR crew, I doubt it'll happen, at least in my lifetime. Look how long after Revan it took to get the ones we got. I would prefer them to at least do the Jedi, HK, and Ordo if they don't do the rest anytime soon. Carth was annoying af so I really am not clamoring for a figure of him. I'll buy it, but it's not on my top 100 lol. Mission and T3 would be nice but those are probably gonna be a bit more difficult too cause they'd need all new molds.
I wonder if they'd do Satele since they did Malgus. They did Shae in the small scale, and a commando, but Satele never got made. I also wouldn't mind some of the characters from 2. There were a couple that I really liked, mainly the girls. But I feel like they only did Nihilus cause he was mostly Maul with a couple new pieces.
