I didn't know there was somebody else who wanted a Rum Sleg Black Series. I had that Legacy Collection figure and I loved that thing. Such a cool figure of a literal nobody, something Star Wars has always excelled at.

I freakin' love Rum Sleg.  I have the 3.75" figure and would be so happy if they made him in Black Series.  I hope that happens someday.  But it may be far, far away.

We have got all the heavy hitters from EPI, But I hope we can at least also get

Boss Nass
Panaka
Ric Olie
Ani (Pod Racer)

But those might be harder sells.  I don't know.  In a perfect world, everything from the 3.75" EP I Movie line would get a Black series figure.  But I don't know if that will ever happen.

There are so many characters I want from the Prequels it's crazy.  But I will say, I have really enjoyed this year so far.  Because be it figures that have come out, or went up for pre order, there has been a nice variety of Prequel items this year.  It feels like far more than previous years.  And that has really made the line even more fun to me in 2024.

The lack of podracing goggles definitely suggests they will re-release Anakin. Also, this is Hasbro. 🙁

Obviously Theed Amidala is my #1 (through 10) most wanted but I wouldn't mind an Ep 1 Yoda (WITH THE CHAIR, HASBRO!) but I'd like also like a Mustafar Padme sooner rather than later. Need her for my big three per movie line-up. Along with new versions of Ep III Obi and Ani.

But you were talking Ep1. 🙂 Didn't Panaka have bad blood at some point, and that's why he disappeared? I looked for his figure for a long time and finally found it fallen between the aisles in Walmart.

There are so many TPM characters I want. Ben Quadrinaros, Rum Slegg, etc. But there there are two on my main want list. Quinlan Vos and Queen Amidalla. With her full red gown. I would absolutely love that. Quinlan can be from TCW, TPM, or whatever he appears in next. (My main Quinlan want would be from the cover of Dark Disciple.)

I had to let Anakin and Padme fall through on bbts, just did not have the funds for them yet. But I will speak it into the universe that life will start being kinder, and when they charge on bbts next time I will grab them. 🙂 

I did recently get Morgan Elsbeth, she is a really great figure. Does anybody know if anyone has a 3D file of the sword she used at the end of Ahsoka? I would love to print one of those and give it to her.

Lastly, I wonder if Outlaws will get the Star Wars Jedi games treatment. Give us Kay, and a bunch of guys who can get reuse in the gamestop exclusive line? Or do we think we will get trench coat Commando Droid and Qira?

It's true to the storylines, but video editing is a hobby of mine, so there's an unreal amount of nearly invisible tweaks and compositing. I'm proud of how it's turning out.

I was in Wal-Mart today and they actually had a Star Wars display out in front of all the toy aisles.  The display said "Star Wars Dark Side" and featured Darth Vader and Darth Maul with a black and red back drop.

They had Black series figures on the display including the newer figures like Cad Bane, Pyke Soldier, and Tusken Chieftan.  They also had the A List/Best of figures with ANH Vader and Mines of Mandalore Mandalorian with the plastic cape as opposed to soft goods.

I picked up Vader and the Mandalorian.

Also on the display were the 3.75" Epic Heroes Wave 1, and the little light up Droids "Droidables".

In the main toy aisle on clearance they also had the Luke and Grogu Black series deluxe set for $17.00 

I already have that set, but at $17 instead of $45 I picked it up for an extra.  I also scored the little Mixin' Moods Grogu for $9 instead of $22.99

I don't know about the file itself but I found a couple of actual swords people print on Etsy that looked good. I bought one of them, wasn't too expensive. But I ordered a ton of other stuff with it to get free shipping, so it hasn't been shipped yet. Dude has a bunch of positive feedback, so I'm guessing he just has alot of orders to fill, and since I ordered a ton of stuff, he also has to make it all still. I'm thinking it's all made to order. Etsy says estimated ship date is end of this month. But he has a bunch of SW guns, and different Mandalorian helmets, so I got a few of those for customs and whatnot. Also, probably doesn't need to be said, but it will need painted. He also has it listed to be able to scale up and down. So he can make it for 1/12, 1/18, or 1/6 scales, I believe.

@trunks3540 which etsy seller is it? I've bought a few 1/12 items from different guys so I can tell you my experience if it's one of them.

BountySupplyCo. There were only 2 sellers with the Blade of Talzin and this one let me order 2 scales of it, even though they looked like the same exact print as each other. And again, he has some guns and Mando helmets of different styles I liked so I ordered enough for free shipping. I ordered Cad Banes rifle cause it looks awesome, a set of clone commander blasters and holsters, 3 different Mando helmets, and the 2 swords, 1 of each scale.

@trunks3540 Ah yes, I have ordered from them. Surprise, it was Fett stuff. They had the Pre-pro weapons.

It took over 3 weeks for that order to arrive, but it was as described and solid prints at least.

I recently picked up the mines of Mandolore Mando from the same cardboard display at my Walmart, and am glad I did, so I now have an updated Mando not covered in a snow splattered deco.

@supercamel-1982 I'd buy everyone on that list. 

It's funny, I had to look up Ric Olie to remind myself who he was, and I think this is what I miss in modern films AND in modern toys: I had an entire LIFE in my head for Ric Olie before Episode I came out. And Chancellor Vallorum, and Panaka, Ki-Adi-Mundi... the way we got nothing about them before the films hit but had a few months with the toys to just, like, IMAGINE. It was very much like the Kenner toys. Who's this brown alien with a hammer head and a stick? I dunno, but I'm going to imagine an entire universe for this dude, cos he looks cool. 

Is Constable Zuvio the last (only?) Black Series rando we got before the movie came out who had no backstory and no impact in the film? I think that's why I've got a soft spot for that weird lil dude.

I loved that aspect of not knowing who a character was when it came to the toys. It was of course fun to actually learn who they were and play out stories that way, but not knowing and just completely making up your own ideas for characters was so much fun.  I think my favorites were definitely the Episode I figures, since the toy line came out before the movie, and I knew nothing of the characters stories at that point.  But getting all those Episode I characters and blending them in with my Original Trilogy POTF 2 figures was so fun. 

I also loved when they released the EP II preview figures before I really knew anything about the movie.  Jango Fett, Zam Wessel, R3-T7, and the Clone Trooper. 

I was so intrigued by that preview set and so excited for the film to release.  And it was a blast introducing those characters into my collection and making up stories of who they were.  

God, I loved the entire time the Prequels were coming out.  All the hype, advertisement, and merchandise.  It was a blast.

The AOTC preview set was pretty awesome for what you got.

I'm sure I've told this before, but I had that "who is this/I'm gonna guess without seeing the movie" experience with ROTJ as I got the ERG and Chief Chirpa with no idea who they were. They'd shown the Emperor in ESB so I had a good idea with the royal guard. But of course I had no idea how little either of them would do in the movie, heh. Didn't matter though and both have a special place for me because of it.

@ru1977 I remember just LOVING Chirpa before the movie came out. What did he have, eight seconds of screen time? Those were the days. Absolutely ridiculous toy marketing that converted into imagination. 

I really would buy any of those blink and you missed em characters from the first two trilogies. Heck, some of the nobodies from the new trilogy or any of the shows, too. (I'm now obsessed with getting Ric Olie even though I know he's zero likely to be made.) I can't believe we haven't gotten Chirpa or Logray yet.
