I’ll have to watch the trailer.

I have been playing around with Lil Ani and Jar Jar. Taking pics with Micro Galaxy Squadron pieces. It’s humorous to me seeing Jar Jar holding the micro figure of himself from the Gungan Bongo vehicle. Ani looks great with the pod racer. Man an alternate head would have been killer with the helmet! Having Anakin amps my desire to own Watto and Sebulba. I’m sure there are 3D prints out there but I couldn’t paint those very good. But in scale figurines would be grand. I also think it is a near impossibility with Hasbro. The Pit Droid looks cool with Anakin. A 3D printed collapsed droid could be doable to paint.

I have Padme too but without Nute Gunrey or Captain Panaka I’m not sure what I’ll do with her yet. Maybe pics with Ani. I’m not inspired yet. Nice to have her though. Micro Galaxy Squadron will get to get Starship sometime. I do have a miniature of her ship and an N1…Hmm maybe something there. Maybe just fusing with Qui Gon or flirting with Obi Wan causing the jealousy to rise in Anakin.

6” Phantom Menace is shaping up now: B1s, Jedi, Maul, Anakin, Padme, and Jar Jar.

Thwipp!

@ru1977, if you want to follow along, I keep an unlisted playlist on YouTube.

It's true to the storylines, but video editing is a hobby of mine, so there's an unreal amount of nearly invisible tweaks and compositing. I'm proud of how it's turning out.

Man, getting well-printed eyes on Padme is an ordeal. I found two copies at GameStop, and my Pulse order came in today, so I got to compare three. I can't even remember which one was which at this point, I think the first one I found at GameStop. I returned the two extra plus an extra Anakin at GameStop and they do go through a process. They checked my purchase history to see whether or not I've been abusing returns, they examined the boxes to see if they'd been opened (they had not). But they took the figures and I got my money back. And I just added the least wonky-eyed Padme and Anakin to my display.

Thats interesting. They used to have a no questions asked 7 day return policy. And I think it's 30 after that if it breaks. I haven't returned alot I bought there, I've been lucky for the most part. But I did return Avalnche from the XMen wave recently, cause his arm snapped off. And they were just like, "Yea I remember you buying it. Yea it's broke. No we don't have another one. Here's your money back." And I just used it to buy Morgan Elzbeth instead anyway from there.

But I'm sure they do probably check to make sure you're not returning stuff regularly, I just don't remember them doing that for me. Plus the guys at Gamestop here know me, and again, I literally returned one thing in the last like 3 years or something. So they probably knew I wasn't trying to screw them.

I got Ani and Padme today, as well as my Micro Galaxy Squadron EP I Gungan Sub and Naboo Starfighter.  So, it was an Episode I kind of day.  Which is awesome to me, because I freakin' love Episode I.

Padme and Ani are really nice figures.  Very well-done head sculpts.  They both look just like they did in the film.

But I need more.  Come on Hasbro, it's the 25th Anniversary of The Phantom Menace.  Let's drop some Merch!

Obviously we see anything they've made in 3 3/4" as on the table, but what's realistic for BS? Another Padme? Did they ever do Qui-Gon with the poncho? I'd still like a proper-PT Yoda. Sidious really seems like a no-brainer to me. Jedi Anakin might get some re-use as well.

The TPM release they've made are exactly the ones I'd be asking for. Can't wait for the Destroyer Droid, which will make me want to finally pick up a regular Battle Droid. I don't think I need variations for the Jedi, and Yoda's design in that movie is my least favorite. If anything, I'd want more Padme figures in her gowns, but those won't sell well or pose well.

I agree about Yoda with the puppet version, but I'd assume the CG version is what they'd do a figure of. I think my PT wishlist is now down to just three figures, so I'll take them however I can at this point. (Barriss*, Sidious, and Yoda.)

Spoiler
Tales of the Empire spoiler if you stayed away from the trailer
And yeah, I would get both the AOTC version of Barriss AND the Inquisitor version. She is the 'barely did anything' PT character I'm obsessed with.

I might want a Captain Panaka and a Ric Olie, but that's mostly nostalgia for the figures talking. I remember buying them in the frenzy and then finally seeing their super limited roles in the film. In the same respect, I might consider a Watto and Sebulba, but I wouldn't go much further than them for the Tatooine/pod race characters.

The Phantom menace was a very toyetic film. I really want a Sebulba. That may be my top want in the whole line at this point.

Sebulba

Watto

Captain Tarpals

Gungun warrior

Boss Nass

Alien Jedi on the Council

All of the Podracers (they made a really fun 3.75" collection)

And this guy (Rum Sleg) They made a really great 3.75" figure of him and I want a 6" version. They took a nobody and made him cool:

2-Minute TerMINator on X: "@StarWarsMinute RUM SLEG is the #MosEspa 'Spacer' #StarWars #StarWarsForceAwakens <a class=https://t.co/2UO3drzDl9" / X" />

In that frenzy, I ended up only getting Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul. I didn't go all in on TPM until after the movie was out, and I never did a midnight madness event in person again either, heh. That experience probably colored a lot of my view of that period in Star Wars too. It was more sweet than bitter I guess though.

Watto and Sebulba would be really tempting to me because I do like having 'exotic' aliens on the shelf.

@kingbowser He definitely looks very cool. Would make a great cosplay, but people would probably think I was trying to be Deadshot or something.

Rum Sleg is someone I have affection for just because he's wandering the streets of Mos Espa talking to himself. (I know they digitally removed the guy he was talking to but still makes me smile.)

@kingbowser

That would make a cool BS figure!  Definitely would look good on the shelf.

Thanks, @ru1977!  I thought I was doing them just for me; it's fun knowing somebody else likes them.
