Heh, the band would have eaten all my cantina spots so I skipped them and forgot they did those. Thanks for reminding me. My focus is more Kenner centric but if I come up with more shelf space in time, I'd actually love to have a lot more of them. Kabe, nabrun, muftak, Bom, boshek, Elis, myo, trevagg,  but at least takeel.

I tend to think the palace creatures were better done but if space isn't an issue, I would probably get more cantina guys than palace ones.

If we get Hammerhead we need Walrus Man as well.

Yeah, I wonder if the naming convention is any kind of hurdle for these. Have they done any TVC figures with Kenner names?

I got my Cubic3DPrints lightsaber blades today. I must say, they are pretty fricken good. You can tell they're 3d printed, but they're not super rough or blocky. And they absolutely do have different peg styles for whichever hilt you buy them for. They look almost stock. The colors are really good. The only ones I used so far are the Galen purple and yellow. I had to sand the peg that goes in the hilt down slightly, both length and thickness wise. It was too tight and I was afraid it may break. So I made it a little more loose with the sanding. It also stuck out a smidge, so that's why I shortened the peg. Now it fits perfect, and looks really nice. I have a feeling, if any shelf diving occurs it will break the peg off, but as long as you're careful, they should be fine. If I have to get a Shin and Baylan with the red blades, now I have orange ones to replace them with. And then I got a couple teal ones, a couple purple ones, and a white one. The teal and purple look fantastic, very vibrant. The white kinda looks a smidge choppy but I think it's more the color then the actual blade. I'm not sure where they're all going yet, but I'll figure it out. I'll need to buy more hilts now lol. I think the white will go to Meetra when I end up making her. Or maybe one of the teal ones. That's a future me decision though lol. All in all I'm quite happy with them. Highly recommended. They're not for playing with, but they display nice.

Also got the RotJ Endor Han figure. It's pretty much standard. Looks almost identical to the old AnH Han I have, with a new head and the trenchcoat. I know it's not, but it looks the same. The head sculpt is really good though. And I'm glad the coat is removable so I can display him without it. Glad to have a newer Han after all this time. I skipped the other ones. Not sure why, just didn't get them. This one is good though so I don't regret skipping the others.

Got the Super Battle Droid/3PO Battle Droid 2 Pack today.  I really like this set.  The Super Battle Droid is really nice.  It made me excited for the standard, clean release of the SBD whenever that happens.  I will definitely get 2 or 3 of those at least.

I received my Super Battle Droid two pack too. 3PO is ok. I like the paint job on the B1. I will find a way to swap heads and Chuck 3PO’s in a bin.

The Super Battle Droid is better than I expected! I want more for sure. It’s pretty heavy in the upper torso as you would expect. The knee and ankle joints hold it up well. The knee joints are more capable in range of motion than the elbows. They move better than 90 degrees. Elbows are 90. The joints are smooth. The figure can throw some mean shapes. It gets wider hip and shoulder articulation than I was thinking it could get. Very little if any upper torso crunch, but it arches back some. Good diaphragm twist.

Bring on the singles. Bring on the repaints. Bring on blast effects. I would have liked that for guns. The removable panels on the torso are welcome. This figure is pretty spectacular. The droid army looks so much better with this in it.

Thwipp!

Came across Padme and Anakin at GameStop today. Picked them up after hearing that Padme's eyes can be misprinted. This copy is a victim of having eyes slightly high, causing bags underneath, but otherwise clean. Pulse shipped my pair, so once they arrive, I'll compare them to these from GS. I'll return the worse ones to GS.

I feel judged when I return things to GameStop. I'm sure they don't actually care, but ugh. I need to return some figures I over-ordered and I'm not looking forward to it.

But Amazon shipped my Anakins finally and my original order of Padmes. I kept the original orders hoping for some better Padme prints - getting the lips, hairline and eyes all lined up seems hard.

Keep in mind when you purchase or ship something to your local GameStop and return it to the store it counts negatively against the store.

That's a dumb policy. Why should an online order ding the store that it is simply returned to?

Got my Padme and lil Anakin this week - got two really nice face prints. Love that we're getting prequel love lately.

Random pickup--I added a credit collection Boba to my order when getting some stuff on discount from Walmart's big Hasbro sale last week (I hate buying from Walmart but $5 classifieds were hard to pass up). Realized how weird a collector I am - I want credit collection Boba to just be some random clone who survived the purge. Another aging, bald copy of Jango who outlived his use to the Empire. Maybe it's the writer in me, but I want those stories and that kind of presence on my shelf. I'll make him a glitched out trooper from Mace or Ki-Adi-Mundi's squadron. (Bad Batch has me enthralled by the clones who survived even more than the Jedi who did lately. I love the Dark Times period.)

I'm guessing it's because it's the individual store that pays out on the refund. When they take that hit, it affects their overall sales for the day. When you're a small store in a mall on a random Tuesday, odds are, sales aren't high to begin with. Then the return puts them deeper in a hole.

My Ani and Padme should be here soon.  I am so excited to get them.  I LOVE EPI, and we don't get figures from it often enough.

I wish for the Anniversary this year they'd do like 2 EPI Waves on EPI carding.  Give us the heavy hitters for sure like Obi Wan, Qui Gon, and Maul for those who may have missed.  But then hit us with Cpt. Panaka, Ric Ollie, Tarpals, Chancellor Vallorum, etc.

I would be sooooooo happy.

Today at Wal-Mart I found the ROTJ Deluxe Boba Fett that is usually $33.99 for $13!  I already have all the other Fett releases and had skipped this one at the $33.99 price point.  But Fett?.....$13?.......Always!

You can never have too much of the Fett

@supercamel-1982 obviously I agree. Wish I had waited on that one though I at least didn't may much more than $20 for that one. I have to switch some parts to make him more accurate so I didn't wanna pay deluxe prices for that

Got TPM Ani today, and he's a lot of fun! A simple figure, but one of the better executed smaller figures, I think. Still gives me that nostalgic feeling that the original figure did- he was always one of my favs back in the day, since I was just a little younger than the character when the movie came out. Makes me happy that Jake Lloyd seems to be getting a little better, too. Since we know he has at least a few Black Series figures, I hope his own figure makes it into his hands too (as long as it's healthy for him). Wish the guy nothing but health and happiness.

Glad we're slowly filling out the TPM roster, but like others, I'd love some more- give us Tarpals (can share a lot of parts with Jar Jar, and something tells me there may still be a bunch of unbought stock they can re-purpose), give us Panaka (there might be some possible re-use for a future Typho) , Ric, Sio Bibble, Shmi, give us Hologram Palpatine in the Holocomm line. I think I saw a rumor that we're getting a new TPM Maul with updated sculpt/articulation, which would certainly be welcome. A podracing Anakin with Watto/Sebulba would be great too- podracing Ani feels like an inevitability, it's just a matter of how they choose to release him.
