@trunks3540 I haven't ordered from them yet, and may not until my next check in a week or two. But I believe they're very comparable to Black Series. It was actually in Robo's Baylan/Shin fix video on Youtube that I heard about them for the first time. Starts at about 4:16 on the video below. He mentions the replacement blades are a bit clearer, versus the more opaque blades from the official Black Series figures, so it depends on your preference. But I think they look really nice! Not blocky like you mentioned with Replacement Sabers. If they're good enough for Robo, they're good enough for me!

@joshsquash729 Ahh that's where I saw those before. I saw his review and swap but it didn't click in my head. I have to wait a week or so anyway too, so maybe I'll wait till you get yours and if you could post some pics or something and some little details about them, I'll decide then. But so far, right now, I have a bunch of them in my Etsy cart waiting for the money and probably a good word or 2 lol. I also hope they don't break easy. I would love to get some purple, teal, and white blades. I still wonder if they're fitted for the figures they say they're for or if some of them can be used for other hilts also.
I can't believe people are complaining that we are getting figures for a new show as a show comes out. Haven't we been asking for that forever? New shows / movies are definitely going to get merch before obscure prequal Jedi who never spoke a word in the movies, or obscure cantina / Jabbas palace alien. As much as I want Max Rebo and Shaak Tii, I understand new characters will take priority. I am glad we have passed the days of the original film where no toys got produced for the new media lol.
And I am super excited for them all! Especially the alien Jedi girl and Mae. I am so excited for this show, I love the High Republic books and comics and this show will be amazing. Plus there is representation in the show that is like me, which gives me that extra level of excitement! I saw someone say they would grab an extra Jedi for a Meetra Surik custom, please let me know if you find / get a head that could work well for her. She is one of my most wanted characters and I know we will never get an official figure of her lol.
The preview figures also have me excited. Ahsoka the White was always an easy repaint. I hope they add a few new parts, like a new face sculpt to match her appearance, but even if they don't it's okay. Ahsoka is my favourite character and I am dying for this version! Dedra Meero is another I have wanted for so long, so I am excited we will get her. We almost have all the main cast of Andor who I want figures of, if we can just get Kino Loy and Syril Karn i'll be even happier.
I'd love to get Enoch, but I am not going out of my way for him. I can pick up a $20ish figure I see at Walmart on a whim usually, but a (probably) $50 pack, with a varient stormtrooper army builder when I do not even have a regular Stormtrooper? I may grab it if I have enough pocket change and then trade the trooper for a more common figure I just had not bought yet.
Last thing, I have been rewatching the Sequel movies and then going to jump on Resistance (which deserves figures). If they are still doign an archive line, I would love Finn, Poe, Kylo / Ben and Rey from TFA with updated head sculps. Or if all new figures, give us these characters from TROS. I would love to get them, my Poe right now is soooo ugly, one of the worst on my shelf. Bonus points if I can put the head on Mr. Knight,
I used an Agent Helix head from GI Joe for my 3 3/4 scale Meetra custom years and years ago, so I'm probably gonna do the same cause I like how it turned out. I used the brown outfit Assajj for the body though, so there's no way to copy that. I was hoping for a Deppa Billaba or Adi Galia body for her, but those won't be made for years, if ever.

I am waiting to buy the Agent Helix figure on sale or discount since I really only want the head, I don't wanna pay full price for it. And since I have to wait for a body too, I'm in no hurry to buy it.Â

@docsilence No, that was just my lame attempt at being witty, seeing as how Gideon and Bail both died in fire (as far as we know). So I was trying to explain their lack of plastic rep being that Hasbro had nothing left to scan. 🤣Â I've always been told my jokes leave a little something to be desired. @eiczerofour - you know what they say- "Nobody hates Star Wars more than a Star Wars fan". I've found the fan response to the Acolyte a little confusing too- it feels like fans are always looking forward to and hyping up a SW project until footage is shown, and then they just nitpick it to death before it even releases. It's always the vocal minority, I feel- most of us are still down for it. In terms of figures, though, I think it's just the uncertainty. They're supposed to release around the time of the show, but as we know, that doesn't always happen as planned. Adding to that, they're all a bit same-y (though what do you expect from a bunch of Jedi?) I'm not familiar with the High Republic era yet, but it seems the Jedi have a much more uniform look than the prequel era, where there's a biiiit more differentiating.
When it comes down to it, I don't know if there's ever any winning- if you release the figures too soon, nobody knows who they are and the demand won't be there just yet. They risk peg-warming (but at least they're there for when people watch the show and can decide if they like X character or not), and people will complain that they should've made X character from X trilogy instead. If you release them too long after the show, people will say they've "forgotten" it or "the demand isn't there" or "it should've been released a year ago". Ultimately, though, it's all just hullaballoo- fans will still buy what they're gonna buy (which, most of the time, is all the figures anyway- Clones, Jedi, aliens, etc.- they all sell). I do think it's natural to want a character from a show/movie you're familiar with over something you're not sure if you're gonna like, so I get it. But fans are always complaining, and always looking for someone to blame. Goodness knows I'm often first in line to blame Hasbro for something they do that bothers me, but I will give credit where credit's due. It seems like they're really trying this time to get them out around the time of the show. I'm sure LucasFilm helped them out with materials and such, which undoubtedly helped, but still- credit where credit is due.
I personally am looking forward to them. I wasn't sure at first (I'm certainly guilty of being nitpicky at times, especially since purging some of my collection and trying to behave), but seeing them in person this past week really helped. They looked pretty good, and will definitely stand out on a shelf. Chances are I'll like at least one or two of the characters, and chances are I won't connect quite as much with some of them, but there's hardly been any Black Series released so far that I wouldn't want in the collection (at least in terms of new characters). Even Constable Zuvio, I'm glad to have. I'm just happy to be back in a time where Star Wars is all around. We'll probably never see anything like the time in the 90's-early 00's where pegs were flooded with Star Wars figures of every possible character, so I'll just take what I can get.
@joshsquash729 that's on me not getting the joke 🙂 I forgot Bail died in fire too. And honestly I know there's some actors they don't have good facial scans for to make figures of so it wouldn't have surprised me if something happened to Smits' likeness like that.

Speaking of nitpicking vs. actual hate, I love that we're getting C'Baoth and Luuke tomorrow, but oh my stars and garters I don't need another Luke in his black costume. I love the last one we got. I love the last FOUR we got. I'm all full up on Luke in Black wish this was a two-pack instead of four. (I don't mind getting a second Mara Jade since she comes with an alternative head though, just mildly irked we're getting like, the fifth Luke in his black suit in the past few years as part of a set that has some must-haves.)Â

heh, 'nobody hates that game like people who love it' is such a confusing statement that makes total sense to us. but yeah, the 'negativity' on this forum is a totally different animal, and of course perfectly fine.

Nevermind, just saw the set of four figures. Not for me, but that's a ln awesome set for fans of that book. Especially if you haven't gotten Mara yet. And yeah, yet another Jedi Luke but at least it's his death star 2 look rather than repacking his tunic from Jabba's palace. Have they done that Luke in BS yet?
Yeah, that 4 Pack is a must for me. I will get it and the 2 pack tomorrow. But the 4 Pack is something I have been so excited about ever since they pipelined it. I love stuff like this from the Legends EU era.
