I pre ordered all the Acolyte stuff this afternoon.  I luckily don't need that Masters of Evil 3 Pack, as I have everything in it.  But what is this about Wal-Mart Baylan?  I missed that completely.

Thats a definite buy.  Baylan is such a great character.

That MOE set was tempting until I thought about where I'd put them all. I never got a Grievous but... I'm okay not having him still. Don't need anymore Vaders, and still don't like Thrawn as far as shelf-worthy heh.

I'd be very surprised if they fixed the height on Baylon this quickly. If they did you know that they would be letting us know.

It's high time that we get a brand new Vader. They can't keep trotting out the figure with 10 year old parts on it, and expect collectors to buy it.

My 2 cents on the Acolyte figures: Cool that they're coming out close enough to around the same time as the show will be dropping episodes. They all look nice enough. Not that excited for them though.

I wish that they'd do animated style Clone Wars figures, or update older figures that are in dire need of fresh sculpts and modern articulation.

Baylan wasn't the one who needed adjusted as much as Shin and Marrok do. There were some comparison shots of the figures and actual actors and such, and Baylan is maybe just a hair short, but he looks worse because Shin and Marrok are both too tall. They are the ones that need height adjustments and then Baylan would look fine. Shin especially needs the the Archive Boushh Leia treatment and to be scaled down a bit. I have a feeling that may be why a new one of her has not been shown, cause they may be fixing her before they release a new one. And she better not be an exclusive, or there will be riots. That would be such a bad move, but Hasbro hasn't been known for their good moves.

I like Ki Adi. I was just more along the lines of trying to say I don't think he'll be hard to find once he's actually out. He'll show up, we will all get him, and then we'll move on to the next odd decision Hasbro does. I don't expect him to be Rex levels of hard to find. And for the record, Plo Koon is better then Ki Adi any day of the week 😜 . Lol.

I agree with Plo vs Ki Adi. Also, anyone see the kel dor Jedi in the Acolyte trailer? Not sure if that's supposed to be Plo but either way, seems an easy figure for them to do.

IS Baylan fixed? I was reading on galacticfigures Insta page yesterday that apparently Hasbro confirmed it wasn't- the figure was already underway when the original figure came out. Could have been a misunderstanding, though, or GF just posting rumors (but they've been pretty reliable as far as I know). It'll be interesting to see, for sure. I'd love it if they did fix the issue, but something tells me they just throw a cape on it and called it a day. Still need to get around to fixing them myself.

I kinda like Holocomm Vader they showed off. At least now they're getting into versions that feel like they actually belong on a Holopuck. If/When they ever get around to releasing Sidious in the Holocomm line, I'd jump on that one.

Went to a little Imperial March pop up event last night here in NYC. It was fun- nothing special, just a tiny little walkthrough by Amazon showing off some of the new figures, and all the old lightsabers and helmets, with a few photo ops, and they gave us an Imperial March poster (just the design they've been using). Felt like it was aimed more at the general masses than die hard fans- bless the (I assume) Amazon employees, as half of them looked like their knowledge of Star Wars was base level at best and weren't picking up any of the references my boyfriend or I were laying down. 🤣

That said, I finally got to wield the Black Series Darksaber, and man, that thing felt good. Made me really tempted to buy one myself (they had conveniently placed QR codes next to every item to buy) They did have all the newly revealed figures from the livestream the other day, and I gotta say, they may have won me over. They had boxed and unboxed figures from the Acolyte, and they all looked pretty dang good in person- the yellow didn't look quite as bad. No fancy poses or anything, but you could see them all clearly. I know that says nothing about how the show is or anything, but at least they look nice! They had the Sith 3 pack on display too- nothing special, but it was cool seeing the Ahsoka Thrawn figure in person; he looked really good. The new boxes also look a little better in person, I think. Not sure if they just weren't showing up on camera or what, but the proportions seemed a bit better in person. I'm sure I'll get used to the packaging anyway, I was just really starting to like the galaxy packaging.

All in all, it was fun, and figure-wise may have broken down any resolve I had on not getting the Acolyte figures. At least I'll have a little time after the show airs to decide to change my mind. It's a good time to be a Star Wars fan!

Quick question: which TBS 4-Lom and Zuckuss are the better releases - red boxes or the ESB carded ones? Which are more accurate? I'm still picking up figures I skipped for my shelf and I'm looking at these two.

I honestly didn't know there was a difference. I thought they were just straight rereleases. I have the single card version of both of them and they are pretty good as far as older figures go. I like them. I'm usually a strictler for details, but with their blink and you'll miss it appearance in the movie, I'm absolutely good with these ones, I don't noticed anything wrong off hand. And this is coming from someone who loved all the bounty hunter figures growing up, and made my own stories and alliances and whatnot with them. They were my favorite go tos for play time. And these ones are just upgraded versions of those to me.

I also have the single card versions and pay too much attention to details/accuracy, but have no issues with them. They both stand there, holding their weapons like in the scene, and look great to me.

I don't have Shin or Baylan yet, but should I return the extra Moff Gideon in my Pile of Loot & take Reva off my Amazon wishlist, then?

My hope is Shin with cloak will be announced a while from now because they're retooling her. I cannot say for sure but I seriously doubt this Baylan is different aside from the cloak.

If it had been a lot of work & money, I would've just refused to buy the two figures in the first place, but seeing how easy Robo showed it was, and having gotten Gideon for $6 on BBTS (and hoping everyone's least favorite Inquisitor drops from her current $13), I figured I might as well... *shrug*
