Just got 4 new Black Series figures today. The most in a long time. Krrsantan, Cad Bane, Cobb Vanth, and the new Mando. Vanth is the weakest of the four, and really I only got him because I wanted Cad Bane, who is great. So is Krrsantan. 

The new Mando is FANTASTIC. I love the way it looks on the shelf. Has that bulk Pascal brings to the character when he is in the suit. I think I might even prefer it over the lankier Mafex Mando. It's only downfall compared to the Mafex is the lack of hands. Fists, relaxed, grips. That's all I really want out of hands from this line.

Even the new packaging just feels a little off to me. Hard to put my finger on, but it almost feels like they highlight how empty the packaging is now. I guess on the plus side, since they're never out when the show actually premieres, there's time for me to decide on whether or not I want them. As of now, I'm feeling a bit middle-of-the-road with them all.

I like it, and I was very surprised when PFP went away that they didn't make this packaging change then. I'm guessing that might have been a ripcord situation and they didn't have time to "perfect" a new standard package design, but I'm so happy they are adding color to the interior tray. Opening Black Series figures for the first time in a long time and those inner gray trays add NOTHING - can't figure out why they even went to the trouble when it's almost the same shade as the cardboard they are covering, which they could then just print? Odd choice.

I'm a bit starved for Jedi, so I'm in for the lot. Even if the show is terrible and I hate the characters the figures will at least be good for a head start on customs.
I want Dedra and the Imperial Super Commando. I'm curious about Yoda and Gree. If Gree is the same as what we already have, I'll wait on Yoda for a single release. Enoch and the Night Troopers were such a letdown for me that I'm not interested.
HoloMaul would be worth it at clearance prices.

Apparently, The Acolyte show uses and touches on some old school Expanded Universe lore.  I'm very interested to see what that could be, and if it leads to any figures of any EU characters.

That's an aspect of the Disney stuff I've really enjoyed. They tossed out all the old EU, then slowly started bringing some of it back. So  yeah, I'm very interested as well.

I care little about the series or these figures, but whoever made those headsculpts should be proud of himself.

I didn't know Dafne Keen is one of those. I'll get her for sure. I like her work. And shes not bad on the eyes either. And I don't mind getting a whole bunch of random Jedi for the display, but I'm not sure I wanna pay full price without seeing the show first. I'll skip Enoch and the Stormy, cause it's a giant kick in the balls, considering what they did for TVC. And the lack of armored Gideon is baffling. I will buy more then 1 Hasbro, I swear. I already have plans for the 2nd one.

Ki Adi is just gonna show up in store and online at some point without warning. He'll just randomly appear on the pegs somewhere one day, and he'll be all over the boards and media pages. And then everyone will rush out to find him. And once everyone has him, he won't really matter anymore lol. But I am annoyed we don't know when. It would be nice to know, yknow?

Also, one of those Jedi lady bodies could work for my Meetra Surik custom I wanna do. I was kind of waiting for a somewhat generic Jedi looking body, and now I have choices lol. Just not sure which one I wanna use. Also still need to get the head. But if the one figure is shorter then the rest, which it looks like she may be, I actually may not have options. I wish they'd have made Adi Galia or Deppa Billaba. Those 2 would work perfect for what I want.

Hey, now! Ki-Adi "What About The Droid Attack On The Wookies" Mundi is always gonna matter! Ki-Adi "Your Thoughts Dwell On Your Mother" Mundi was not only one of the more featured of the prequel Jedi, having actually gotten some lines, but he also has some of the most memes out of any of the prequel Jedi! 🤣  In all seriousness, though, never underestimate the prequel Jedi. Plo Koon is still a pretty in-demand figure; a lot of folks want his Clone Wars look all these years later, and while Ki-Adi's look in Clone Wars didn't have any clone armor or anything, it would be easy enough to make a custom. I think whether or not he's "forgotten" depends wholly on how good his figure turns out to be- paint, articulation, all that.

Not only that, but KAM was actually heavily and notoriously featured in holographic form, thus making him the first Holocomm figure we absolutely must have! 😜 Plus, Bacara is still one of the most notable clone omissions, at least from the movies, so we gotta get him out there too! Maybe in a Clones of the Republic 2 pack?

Sad part is, I'm only half-kidding on all of this. A Holocomm edition of KAM would ironically "slap", as the kids say, and I'd love Bacara. KAM isn't even my favorite prequel Jedi, but I've been wanting him for a while, and I think I've reached the "Bartering" stage of my grief over his disappearance. Since he's one of the Jedi allowed to take a wife, has anyone thought that maybe he and Kate Middleton ran off together? Would certainly explain both of their disappearances. I digress......

Well, basically Ki-Adi is the only supporting council member with lines.

I was about to cringe but I'm guessing you're a lot closer to 19 than I am.

I've got every jedi from the 3 3/4" line.   But I'm pretty much done with the Black Series except for an old man Rex.  Just too costly at this point. But that Carrie-Anne Moss figure is tempting.

I got Mae and Jecki, shipping in October so it'll be after the show is done at least.

Walmart Baylan figure coming later this year, now with cloak and hopefully longer legs.

@ru1977 Came here to post that I can't believe they'll get me for two versions of this character this quickly, but I love the mercenary armor look and maybe he'll be the proper height this time. But also, of course I'll buy two versions of Ray Stevenson with a lightsaber. I'd be lying to myself if I even entertained the thought I would not.

@docsilence I tried posting pics but couldn't, so I don't know if you'll have better luck.

I'm glad I held out, but now that you mention how quickly this one is coming out, that makes me wonder if it has the same legs. If he has improved height, wouldn't that seem like they had this in the works all along? Which... is shady.
