Man, reading different things about Hasbro today, I came across a couple things that aren't great.
One, which is just a rumor, but the prices of mainline Black Series figures may go up to $27.99 or $29.99
Second, and this one is more confirmed by Hasbro's CFO in an article on Wall Street Journal. But they are looking to cut costs in the manufacturing process, as they look for people who can make their products at a cheaper cost.
So, it sounds like we may get less quality figures, but at a higher price.
That sounds awesome!!! No, I mean awful! Apparently I don't want slowing down enough. Waiting for Black Friday will no longer be a luxury but necessity heh
@supercamel-1982 Just shaking my head. It really is a slow death with Hasbro for me. Their decisions are forcing me to buy less each year. Who can afford all of this anymore?

If I recall that quote was specifically in reference to Games and NERF. They wanted to look into thinner plastics, and the like. They also said this: "Hasbro is also analyzing whether those ideas would harm the quality of its products. “If the answer is no, we’re making the change,” she said.
I certainly hope collector oriented lines will not be affected negatively, but it does sound like they will be looking at just about everything and making some changes. They have a new CFO that will help make some tough decisions. I expect they will drop a lot of fluff lines, and stick to more core products. That's how she helped Harley Davidson at least. Someone on another forum I visit was familiar with her work at Harley.
The lack of Nightsister rep definitely doesn't sit right with me. I know we have Asajj, but we need more. Hopefully if they do ever give us the Nightsisters/Nightmothers from Ahsoka, they could finnagle a Mother Talzin from the parts. Or vice versa, really. Heck, it wouldn't be show accurate, but if they just gave us a single figure of the 3 from Ahsoka with swappable heads, I could make that work. Just something, Hasbro!
And Merrin too. I'd take either of her looks at this point, I just need more Mantis crew members. I love Cal, don't get me wrong, but I'd happily trade one or two of his variants for another crew member.
Would love a "redeemed" Asajj as well. That one at least feels slightly possible, but we'll see.
And NightMorgan would be a super easy redo for Hasbro. I'm half surprised she's not already been announced, but I guess we'll see.

Still hoping for a new Clone Wars Plo in the new Clones of the Republic 2 packs. Plo is my favorite Jedi, and I love his existing figure, but I've always wanted him in the clone armor. Seems like an easy enough kitbash- I've seen plenty out there, expect for the fact that Plo always goes for a lot online. He seems like the most logical next release in the line, especially considering how much people love the Wolffe Pack as well. Could do Sinker or Boost from the Rising Malevolence episode that people love.

Sinker, Boost, Comet, and generic Wolffe Pack troopers are all available from AliExpress. They look great.
