@trunks3540 Technically, Palpatine did NOT survive the fall into the reactor. His physical body died, but he transferred his essence to a clone that had been created. But yeah...death is Star Wars often seems arbitrary.
My larger issue with stabbings is they would NEVER happen as cleanly as they're always shown. The only way to get a clean stab is if the victim is standing perfectly still before the stab, and then the idea of them continuing to stand perfectly still during the stab is insane. Anyone with a lightsaber entering their body wouldn't stand still, so the saber would start slicing FAR more than the entry point as the victim began twitching, lurching, or falling from the wounds, so they'd mostly end up with either a huge, gaping hole as their body moved around the saber or a complete slice from the entry point outwards if they fell as the saber entered.
So using Maul slicing Qui-Gonn as an example it wouldn't just enter with Qui-Gonn standing still, let's say he fell to his knees with the saber still in him which would have been more realistic--it would also slice up and up through his torso removing his arm and a large chunk of his side. Every time I see one of these clean slices I picture some writer planning for that character to come back some day. 🤨 I thought that as soon as the Grand Inquisitor got sliced in Obi-Wan, and I won't be surprised if we see Reva again.
That's how good Maul is. He can do a precise entry and removal quickly.

I am saying they're humanoids, but not humans. Assuming they have lungs, what's telling you they have a pair of them, broken into un-even number of lobes for each like we humans? How do you know they need oxygen and not methane? The plain and simple fact is that until we get to watch a Star Wars autopsy, nobody knows anything substantive about what's going on under the skin, certainly not to the point of saying with authority a hit from an imaginary weapon should or shouldn't kill them.
Point of fact: there's not a single iota of objective information that tells us they're human-sized, either. All these beings could easily be 6centimeters tall, for all we can tell from watching what we're shown.
According to both George Lucas and Disney, characters like Reva, Sabine, Qui Gonn, etc. are human. How humans got to the Galaxy Far Far Away is up for debate, but they are listed as "human" in all official media going back to the first film.
As for whether they're human sized...well, that is EASY to prove! Here's a picture of Luke Skywalker standing next to some American actor that hosted the Muppet Show back in the day (in fact, said actor is identified as Luke's COUSIN! Did Vader know about his nephew?)!

Exactly. It's some unknown element or compound in a plasma state, and that means it's mostly like between 2000 degrees and 10 million degrees if they found some way for it to be as hot as a sun's core. You shift your load onto that and it melts or more likely vaporizes instantly as fast as you want to keep moving your load onto it, thereby slicing right through everything gravity drags into it.
If your intent is to kill your opponent we should have seen some Sith twisting their wrists around while the blade is in, which effectively would melt most of the part of the body it entered at. The only one of these lightsaber deaths with a clean entry and exit I found believable was Vader's on Reva. He was toying with her that ENTIRE fight, so for him to do a quick in and out was a way for him to defeat her yet leave her alive to suffer.

Galen and the Stormtroopers pack is on the new Pulse outlet store on sale for $77. I absolutely nabbed it at that price. And free shipping. With tax it was like $82 altogether. That's only $5 more then each figure would be combined separately. $110 was ridiculous. But this price is absolutely worth it. They have some other stuff on there I wanna get but I'll have to wait a couple weeks at least. Like Han from Endor.

I had gotten in trouble for something that day and was sent to my room without getting to watch it. It couldn't have been that impactful because I don't remember what I was being punished for, but it was definitely a memorable moment in my life.
Dude, that happened to me with Buffy. I do remember what I did and it wasn't my finest moment, but my parents wouldn't let me watch Riley's return that night on Buffy and then the VCR didn't work - so I had to wait until the re-run. To this day, I still feel like I haven't seen that episode properly.
Ebay has pics of Padme and Anakin! I want these two NOW!!! I'm even sold on Ki-Adi, who I never wanted until I just did this massive reset. Starkiller with his base (ha) is on his way, along with Salacious and Jabba from the Pulse sale, and I picked up almost every figure I didn't have on Ebay in the last week through some great deals. Guys, it's gotten so bad - I'm thinking about rebuying Snoke. I kept his throne, sold him years ago... but he's needed!
Also... not mine, but I found some kick-ass Nightsister customs! I had the same thought to use Agatha as the base!!
I honestly hope Hasbro does the nightsisters. I would love Claudia Black in my room. And a figure of her would be cool too.
