It's one of my fave obi wan figures. I think it's a close second to the Clone Wars version. I'm sure if I had the walgreens exclusive obi wan in clone armor that would be up there too, but I never managed to find him. The only reason he's not number 1 is cause his sleeves hinder his posing with the lightsaber a little bit, and like with all soft goods hoods, it's a pain to keep down lol.
I looked back for pictures of when this set came out and didn't find any, but the HasbroPulse Starkiller exclusive - there's no way for the included Stormtroopers to actually be held up in the air, right? This is Hasbro, I'm sure the answer is absolutely not, but just wanted to confirm. Had an idea for a display that doesn't involve Starkiller or Stormtroopers. 🙂
@schizm Nope! The Stormtrooper figures cannot defy physics, and there is no special clear base or flight stands that come with the Starkiller set to make the appearance of floating Stromtroopers.

Used red and silver Gundam markers to add the missing color to Din's bombs, kneepad, bandolier and belt and now he's nearly perfect.
Just got Ringworld Mando today from BBTS finally (their regular rate Int. shipping is fucking garbage... FedEX takes the package to the border and hands it over to CanadaPost, which is fine, but it seems like it takes FedEX like a solid week to even bother picking the package up from BBTS).
I love this figure. It's great. My thoughts mirror pretty much everything that's already been said about this guy. He looks WAY better than previous Mandos, he moves better. It's just a 100% upgrade over any version that's come before unless you're specifically looking for a non-Beskar version.
The one thing I will complain about, despite how much I do really like this figure, is the hands. Why is this so hard for toy companies? You know how big your weapon handles are, OR you know how big your figure hands are. Match one to the fucking other. It's CANNOT be as hard as some companies make it seem to be. I like the idea of posing Mando with the Darksaber, but it's basically just resting in his hands. To me that's pretty unacceptable for a TOY. I should be able to take this guy down to the floor with my son and play with him, but that would be impossible if I wanted him to be using the Darksaber. That sucks. Do better, Hasbro. This complaint shouldn't even happen.
Besides that though.. he's really nice and I can't see myself needing another Mando ever. At least not until there's some drastic change in toy technology.
Yep. The hands are ass. Why even bother giving him the knife if he can’t hold it?
His hands are the one downside of the new Mandalorian figure.
But if you hook the trigger finger around the part of the hilt that is raised, he holds the sword alright. Not great, but enough. I have to hook the back of the thumb around the edge of the pistol to get him to hold that too.
He will never hold that knife though. 😐
I will say that I got Starkiller as a single release and he is amazing. I really am having fun with him.
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I kinda hope we get BB s3 Wrecker, Hunter, Omega and Crosshairs as black series figures. Would be nice to get each seasons look, especially since, for at least half of them, they are just repaints again. I also heard the trick where you can put Omega S2 second head on the s1 body, which I will try with hot water soon. I am really enjoying my Bad Batch collection.
I guess I'm in the minority on being kind of meh on the new Din. At least I don't hate it. But I also prefer double knees and elbows and sculpted on details instead of floating overlays. After I glued everything down he felt better. But right out of the box he annoyed me. There are just too many small things wrong with it that add up. Oh well, I have him. And he is now the main one in my display.
When is that Bo Katan Archive version supposed to come out? I'm getting ancy on wanting to mess with making my custom out of it lol.
The dude from Yakface.com was on a podcast recently, and while he said nothing was confirmed, it seemed he felt pretty confident we could get some of the following things in 2024 and 2025.
1.) Dark Side 5 Pack - Which may contain Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, Grievous, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. It sounds like we will get an all new sculpt for Maul, and it also sounds like the newly sculpted Maul will get a single release.
2.) ROTS Obi Wan and Anakin
3.) More Clones of the Republic 2 Packs beyond what's been announced
4.) A few Jedi and a few "Named" Clone Troopers.
5.) Ezra and Thrawns Stormtroopers from the Ahsoka show
All of that sounds good to me, especially the Jedi and the named Clones. I know we will get Ki Adi Mundi this year, but if we could get a few more Jedi in single releases and the Clones of the Republic 2 Packs from now through 2025 from the Prequels due to the anniversary, I'd be thrilled.

That is exciting. I would like early TCW Ahsoka with Denal is a two pack, then give us phase 1 Rex. That would be fun for the early s1 episode where Grievous stole R2-D2.
As far as named Jedi and clones, Waxer and Boil would be high wanted figures. Phase 1 Cody too would be cool. Then Quinlan Vos, Yureal Poof, and Yaddle would be big Jedi wants. Though I expect Jedi characters will be Shaak Tii, Luminara, etc. Which I would also love. I'd also love Jedi Dooku.
ROTS Anakin and Obi-Wan getting full updates I am fully on board with.
Out of boredom with the line, I thought I'd try a head swap between ANH Leias, her head with the double buns onto the Yavin Ceremony body, and vice versa for a kind of ESB medical frigate look. I didn't want to sacrifice my actual figures filling those roles, so I picked up one of each from Amazon, both with a fair discount. Turns out, they are not compatible. Ceremonial figure's neck is too long. Oh well. At least the Archive Leia has a better face print.
