I thought that’s where this line was going when it first started, updated versions of those figures, but I have to say I’ve dropped the line completely now.  Give me 1,7,11,13,15,17,19,21,24,31,32,34,38,40,46,48,50,62,68,69,80,81,82,86,91.  I don’t think that’s asking for much 😆

@ru1977 I would love that, and frankly I'm surprised that they never made a marketing push to do just that. They did with the 3.75" line I believe.

By a quick count they are about 39 figures away from achieving that. I looked at a more extensive list when coming up with that number.

I don't need the animated figures either, and probably wouldn't get everyone that had a Kenner figure, but it just makes sense to me to do at least the Kenner lineup. Everyone within five or ten years of my age would probably be drawn to 'collect em all' if they knew they could/would get all the figures they had as a kid/never had but lusted after. I'd certainly grab a lot of Palace and Cantina characters not on my list if they made them, but especially the ones Kenner had done. Takeel and Momaw are on my list really just for that reason. And right now I have Jabba with two Gamorreans, Bib, and ROTJ Boba in front of the carbonite slab. Skiff guards and at least Ree-Yees and Tessek would be great.

If they finished the vintage Kenner POTF lineup, I would be thrilled.  I got into Star Wars with the Kenner/Hasbro POTF2 figures from the 90's.  Even if they finished that basic figure collection I'd be thrilled.  Just the basic figures, I'm not even talking cinema scenes and multi packs (even though I do want those too lol)

I am so happy about the PT items that have gone up for pre order so far this year, and I hope they keep coming.  I always loved the basic, single figure line for EPI, and would love to have all of those in 6" form.  But I guess things like that is why I was asking folks opinion on what might be realistic to get in the future of Black series.  Because I kind of feel, with EPI being one of the less loved films (which I think is insane), I don't know if Hasbro will ever really try to release most of the great characters from the 3.75" movie line. 

But, hopefully over the years, we get some here and there.  

I hope Hasbro does make an effort to finish the 39 characters/figures that kingbowser so kindly mentioned and scouted for us.  That alone would make me very happy.

Potf2 was the first thing I collected as an adult, which led to McFarlane stuff and some other lines, but star wars was of course a main stay for me. 

Any idea how many potf2 figures are left that haven't been done in BS yet?

Here is the list  I came up with of Kenner characters missing, total of 39. A few of these I could live without. And a few could probably be bundled well. Like a Bespin guard with two headsculpts/sets of hands.  A lot of the Ewoks could probably use the same basic Buck (give us some 2-packs!). The list is mostly comprised of ROTJ figures (28 of the 39).

So you could argue 42 are missing. 

@kingbowser thank you for compiling all that! It makes sense about ROTJ since Kenner went to town making figures for that one.

The Hoth troopers... I'm not sure either. I think the BS figure done matches the look of the commander figure but the regular Hoth rebel had a different coat. There were a few coats between the rebels at echo base. 

The Kenner imperial commander, I'm not even sure..I think it was supposed to be Piett too but if I remember correctly, the card art was Veers.

They definitely need to get on the ewok kitbashes

As far as Power of the Force figures we are missing, that list gets convoluted based on what you count.  Do 2-packs count? Three packs? Expanded Galaxy? Mail Ins? Flash Back Series? And so on.

Damn!  You compiled that quick man.  I was just on Rebel Scum trying to piece it together, and you decisively beat me to the punch.

The only thing not on their that I'd count is The Shadow of the Empires figures.  Mainly Prince Xizor and Dash Rendar.  I'd take Chewy in his Bounty Hunter disguise and Luke in his Imperial Guard disguise though if they wanted to make them.

Man, there's a lot of potf2 figures missing from BS that feel essential. Thank you for that link!

Strategically, I want figures with unique tooling first. Worst comes to worst, I can customize some of my grails as long as their bodies aren't too intricate.

Original line and PotF2 reduxes are why I’m into this line in the first place.

Thise figures, along with some modern stuff like an accurate Book of Boba Fett Fett, are why I am here.

I can’t believe Hasbro hasn’t made figures yet for Armored Moff Gideon and the Imperial Supercommandos. 

Or the praetorian guard. They haven't even pipelined any of these right?

Yeah, I’d love to get a figure of the new Praetorian Guard as well!

Part of me is okay with them not making figures of them because then I have to decide how many I'll get. Can I get just one of each? Two? Am I getting a squad of the commandos because in my head it's sorta like they finally brought to screen what Boba Fett was originally intended to be so I gotta get six?!
