Yeah, the new Mando is really nice. Surprised to see any negative comments, but everyone has their own take.

Personally, I highly recommend picking him up.

I'm at a point where I barely buy Black Series figures, but it certainly isn't for any lack of wants.

I can hold off on ALL the animated stuff until they catch up on all the live action holes.

I wonder how much he got done of the new movie and season of Mando. If they didn't even start filming yet he may not be in it at all. Very sad. He deserved at least one more last big hurra.

@trunks3540 That's a good question. I had to look into it and the best I can see is they start filming later this year, so I'd be surprised if Weathers had done any scenes for it yet. I agree though, it's a real bummer.

@trunks3540 I wondered that too. I was listening to Michael Rosenbaum's podcast the other day- he had Katee Sackhoff on, and she said they hadn't started this new season of Mando yet. I'm sure Greef was going to be involved somehow, even if it was just a smaller role every couple episodes like last time, but I'm sure he was going to be there. Carl liked being part of the show, and I'm sure they would've included him in the big Mandoverse plans going forward too. It's sad, but unless the plans for him were crucial to the plot and couldn't be written out or done by someone else, I think they should just retire the character. Whether they kill him off screen or just Cara Dune him, isn't my call, but where they left him didn't seem to be a Baylan situation where there's clearly a ton of story left to be told.

I agree about retiring the character, but I won't be surprised if they just have someone on set with the costume and digitally put his face and voice in there.
