I got the Baylan and Shin Wave from Pulse today except for Starkiller.  He should be here tomorrow.

But Baylan and Shin did have orange lightsabers.  I was really happy they did.  They are both really nice-looking figures.  They have really nice face scans.

Mando Fleet Commander and R5 are also really nice figures.  A very solid wave.

But damn!  Baylans lightsaber blade is so unnecessarily long.  It's like he's a POTF 2 long saber variant lol.

I also, thankfully, got the orange Baylan & Shin lightsabers from Pulse!

I'm still glad I cancelled. I know they don't do this too often, maybe the last was Bly where some had the right paintjob on the head and some didn't? Just ugh. If they ever do a height corrected version of them, I'll grab those.

I got Krrsantan from Amazon. It actually was him in the box. Pleasantly surprised. And he did come with all his accessories (this is a joke because he had literally 1 gun, that he can barely hold). I wish he would've come with at least another gun. Possibly a bow caster cause Wookie. I was messing around with him and I gave him Zalbaars box caster and it fits almost perfect. And Big Z can hold that oversized monstrosity Black K comes with just fine as well, which BTW, I compared, and it comes up to the Clone Troopers shoulders height wise. That gun is huge. I was almost debating on switching them permanently. But I'll refrain for now. I think eventually I will get another Chewie, and maybe have K borrow his bow caster for display purposes. Maybe even see about getting that Chewie/3P0 pack everyone says is fantastic, if it's not overly expensive on the aftermarket. I wish they would rerelease that, or those figures in different boxes. Everyone says that's the go to 3P0, and I would buy a 3P0 if it were any good. And I've heard good things about the Chewie. I just don't wanna have to sell a kidney to be able to afford it lol.

So Krrsantan is cool, if not a bit lacking. Definitely not deluxe cool. Maybe if he got even half the shit the small one did. I would've liked for him to get the sword too. Maybe there's a 3rd party one out there somewhere, or something similar. What would've helped the gun holding is maybe longer arms. He's a Wookie so having slightly longer arms shouldn't look terrible. Looks to be all new. The paints also pretty good. The belts and things don't look like cheap plastic like the garbage comic version they half assed. I'm pretty whelmed with him. He's not the best figure out there but he's above average.

I honestly don't know why I have less then 0 motivation to buy the droids. Alot of them are pretty cool looking. I do have K2, I forgot about him. But I didn't get any of the other ones. I legit didn't buy any other Han figures besides the very first one they did, the one from Solo, and old man Han from TFA either. The Endor one looks good besides the neck. Just never really wanted the others. Maybe something is wrong with me. 

Trunks I had a different perspective on R5 after that force sensitive comic too. Great short story back in the Wild West of Star Wars comics.

Now he’s like Scooby Doo to Mando. Scared droid thrust into crazy adventures.

I will say this about R5. I have the Bandai model kit and can’t paint those thin line details on his dome. It’s nice to have one fully painted. Both the model kit and the BS attachments are flimsy. I haven’t tried, does the head come out completely? It would make putting the attachments on easier.

This, though! Especially since we're getting R5 with the Pit Droids, Peli will be a huge missing piece. I know it's not entirely accurate, but I've seen a lot of customs done where they use the Rose Tico body, and it looks pretty darn good. I know the inaccuracies would piss a lot of people off, but if Hasbro had to cut corners and reuse parts, I'd be okay with it. I just want Peli. As long as they don't throw in another Grogu with her to make her "deluxe". We've got plenty of Grogus lying around, and there's enough she can come with to make it worth it.

I'd love Carson as well, but I don't want them to just reuse the same X-Wing pilot body they have before. He's way too short, and Carson isn't huge, but he's a fair bit rounder than Luke. I don't even think the Ello Asty body would work, but it might skew a little closer. It would be a great time for them to make a new X wing pilot body like they did for the Troopers. Goodness knows they'd get a fair amount of use out of the sculpt- heck, just pull a Hoth/Endor trooper and give a swappable face (so long as it doesn't bump up the price). 

Opened Shin & Baylan...other than Baylan being too short or Shin being too tall, they are really excellent figures.

Standing next to Morgan & Marrok, they make an excellent villain group.

Overall, the Ahoska figures have been some of the best offerings in the Black Series (even if the main character was just a re-issue)...

Orange sabers from Pulse for me too. I told myself I wouldn't be picky which version I got, but I really do like the look of this color. The figures are lovely. The head sculpts aren't quite up to par I think for recent years' Black Series face scans but they're still very good, and yeah, Baylan's a little too short and Shin's a little too tall, but I'm happy with them. Just went right on the desk next to Marrok. (I do wish they also came with soft goods cloaks like he did though.) 

I did not anticipate this whole theme of "radicalized old men angry at the galaxy their generation is leaving behind and determined to do something about it even though they don't expect to live to see it" but here I am, enthralled by Baylan and Luthen, easily my two favorite characters/figures in the past year or two. 

Finally got ahold of Starkiller, after he was delivered to the unoccupied building next door, and I had to stare longingly at the Amazon package through the glass door for 3 days.

He's nice! His face/head sculpt isn't nearly as janky as I was expecting based on some photos I'd seen. Not entirely great either, but I can tell who it's supposed to be. Still wish he'd come with a blue saber too, but I don't really think he can hold another with his other hand anyway. He's a nice one, and it's a decently safe bet we'll probably see at least one more look for him down the road, so I'm not too worried.

Mando Fleet Commander, Tusken Chieftain, and Pykes should be here tomorrow. No sign of Baylan and Shin shipping yet. I'm still tempted to cancel, and maybe pick up at a lower price, but I just like the characters so much that I'm still having trouble deciding. Might have to be one of those "wait a few days after you get them in hand and see how you feel" situations.

To be fair though, this Galen only used one lightsaber. His Clone from the second game is who used 2. But it would've been nice to at least get a blue blade to interchange with the red one considering that was his saber color in the game after he left Vaders employ, as well as the color they gave him in the exclusive set.

I'm a little curious as to why they gave him 2 for the sequel. 2 full length blades backhanded would be incredibly hard to use without chopping your own limbs off. Short blades sure. Those are easier to control. But the long blades would just destroy everything and be highly dangerous to the user. Ahsoka knew better then to use 2 full size backhanded lol. It was probably just a cool factor thing. Honestly the way they did the lightsaber crystals in the second game kinda sucked too, with the abilities being tied to the color. I get why it gets alot of hate. It was rushed, and short, and the combat wasn't as good. But the story was still pretty cool, and I enjoyed it. just wish they would've done the 3rd one since it's left on a cliffhanger. But now that "it's not canon" anymore, it'll never happen.

Got Starkiller at gamestop, he is amazing. Been playing with him during loading screens while playing BG3 lol... he is such a fun figure. I have Baylon and the Fleet Commander on preorder from BBTS, Shin fell through, but I may go back to gamestop to grab her next weekend. I really want her and Baylon figures, but I do not even have Morgan yet. I am falling behind lol.

I got Starkiller in from Pulse, as well as the new Mandalorian/Din Djarin figure.

Starkiller is a really nice figure.  He's exactly what I need him to be.  But this new Mandalorian is freakin' sweet!  The armor looks real.  It really looks like a shiny, metal armor.  And just the overall figure, the sculpt and paint, everything about it looks so well done.

Excellent Star Wars figure.

I decided not to get Cad Bane from this new Wave with the Mandalorian.  Since the only differences are his facial expression, and this single release has less paint apps than the Cad that came in the 2 pack with Cobb Vanth, I just figured I'd save myself $25.

I will most likely get at least 2 of the Pyke Soldiers.  I'm undecided on the Tusken Chief though.

The new Mando is really well done, especially with the fabric cape.

His best release so far.

I think the upcoming "Mines of Mandalore" Mando is the exact same figure, just with the standard plastic cape, and in the dark orange Mando packaging.
