And out of the blue, Baylan and Shin showed up.  February 2nd to my doorstep today.  Thanks Amazon for the time travel.

These preorder dates by Hasbro are such a joke.  They are about as meaningful as Kennedy announcing a new Star Wars movie.

Anyway, despite their many flaws, I'm happy to have these figures.  They were the best characters in Ahsoka.  

Btw I too won the orange lightsaber lottery.

Man, along with the Baylan, Shin, Mando Fleet Commander Wave, Hasbro Pulse is also shipping the Mandalorian, Cad Bane, Pyke Soldier Wave in a couple days right along with it.  Two Waves at once.  Fun, yet expensive lol.

I'm debating on actually getting the red variants if I see them somewhere. Or keeping them if their the ones I get from BBTS. They may be worth something someday to one of my descendants in 50 years lol.

I really want the dark Jedi in my collection, but I'm also not super fussed about having them right away. I'll be holding out for one of two occasions: Redos of the characters in correct scale, or a REALLY good sale on the orange lightsaber versions currently being released. But as it is, I'm absolutely not gonna spend nearly 40 bucks (CAD) on incorrectly scaled figures that may or may not show up with the correct lightsaber color.

So I started messing around with my Revan figures. I removed both hoods and made the heads come off easier. I'm probably gonna try and find some heads for an unmasked look. My dream heads for them would be Keanu Reeves. But those are expensive af, and I can't paint heads well, and I don't know of any that are scaled proper for BS. So I am probably going to settle for something else. I was thinking maybe Andros from Power Rangers in Space, because I have 3 extra of those, its not a bad head, and it's got a hair style close to what Revan had in his comic appearance. Plus the canon face is the one with the long pulled back hair. It's a little funny, cause that's the one I liked most so that's the one I used 90% of the time. And then later they came out and said that's the canon face. I was happy about that. I always thought the bald guy with the gotee would've been more his speed, but it's cool to know which it is. Like the Exile, Meetra Surik (what a weird ass name). Earlier I showed what she looked like too.

I will have to do a little modding to it for any head I would use though. The hole in the bottom of the hood for the neck is fairly small. It stretches just fitting Revans sleek mask through there. I'm not sure how easy it would be to fit a whole other head with hair and a nose, possibly a portruding chin. And I need to fill in and pain the holes in the white versions chest. The pegs came out fine for the black suit hood, so they can just go right back in if I don't wanna fill and paint, when it's on display. But the white hood, the pegs were way too soft, and glued in really well, they tore when removing the hood. So I'll have to fill the holes a bit and paint some sort of bronze to match his chest armor over it.

Anyone have any suggestions, or think that would be a good choice, for look + convenience for the heads? I've been meaning to mess with him for a while but have lacked the motivation, till tonight, trying to stay up for the ball drop lol.

Got notification Baylon and Shin are shipping soon from Pulse and I gotta say, lightsaber color issues aside, I've been a little unenthused with this line lately and I'm openly psyched to get these two. It's been a while since a new character has come along I just fell completely in love with on screen who got a figure relatively soon afterward, and I have a feeling Lord Baylon and his apprentices will be permanent fixtures on my desk for a long time, right next to Cassian Andor and his lil buddy. 

I received Shin today from Amazon and sure enough she came with the orange lightsabers.

Baylon is shipping from EE so maybe I will get the orange ones from there, too. 

@jayjonah Thats awesome you got the orange saber for Shin.  I hope you do for Baylan as well.  I pre ordered the entire Wave that has Baylan, Shin, Starkiller, etc.  And sure enough they have all shipped from Hasbro Pulse.  They should be here tomorrow or the next day.

I really hope I get orange sabers.

While I'm glad they are coming out soon, I'm hoping BBTS will wait a couple weeks. Been hit with a few things I wasn't expecting. And here's hoping they get the orange saberd versions. I preordered Galen too, so that'd be 3 figures I wasn't expecting till next month. Hasbro has been really off on their preorder dates.

Also, if anyone wants to take a gamble on Krrsantan that hasn't gotten him yet, Amazon has him for $20. And that is Amazon proper not the wearhouse. I gave it a shot. Worse that can happen is I have to exchange it and try to get the actual figure I ordered. He wasn't worth the deluxe pricing so I was waiting for a sale and this is a pretty big discount. But Amazon with window packaging is a crap shoot. With windowless boxes it's like playing Russian roulette with 5 in the chamber lol. I wish he would've at least come with some stun knuckles or something too. Not just a gun, that he can't hold. The Vintage one got all this extra crap. It was really cool to see. Biggest reason he doesn't feel like a deluxe figure, or worth that price.

Got shipping notices for Starkiller and Mando Fleet Commander from Amazon, and Pyke Soldiers from Pulse (also got charged for Tusken Chieftain from them, but no movement on him yet). The Pykes and Chieftain were my last orders with Pulse before doing away with the membership, so that's a bit bittersweet, but I'm honestly a bit relieved to be done with them (at least for the time being). Amazon has been suiting me just fine, even if sometimes things show up a little later than everywhere else.

I just received R5-D4 from Pulse. Not much to say about it that hasn't been said about Artoo. I do have a question, that after looking through some video reviews and still getting no answers: is there a place to store the tiny piece? It comes with five tool arms, similar to Artoo, plus one much smaller tool. It's supposed to plug into its head, but the piece won't fit into the slots for the other tools inside the chest. I'd rather not have it rattle around in there, but I may not have any other choice if I want it attached to or stored in the body.

Got shipping notice for R5 from Amazon. Forgot I'd ordered him, honestly. After he was announced as coming with the Pit Droids down the line, I meant to cancel this single release. I hate to send him right back as soon as I get him; do you think Amazon will take "bad motivator" as a valid return reason?

R5 was one of my fave Astromechs growing up. Mainly because of the comic where they said he was a Jedi. I thought that was awesome. A Jedi Droid, whats not to like? I still have that comic too. And I always liked his design. But after they retconned all of that I'm a little more indifferent to him now. I may still get him if I see him on sale. But I still don't have an R2 and a 3P0 yet. There aren't any 3P0s I liked for a good price, and R2 (till the new release) was bad as well. I'll pick up R2 now if I see him, but for some odd reason I still don't have the motivation to buy him online. Only reason I have BB8 is cause he came with Rey. I really like Huyang and I didn't buy him either. Maybe I'm racist against Droid figures... But I do have IG88, 4Lom and Chopper. Mainly because the former 2 are bounty hunters and those were my most played with growing up. And Chopper is just cool af.

R5 got a lot of use when I was a kid because he was the only other one and had to fill in for any astromech that wasn't R2.

Now... I do lament how few droids I own. I don't even have a battle droid, heh. Just the bounty hunter ones, even Zero from Mandalorian, K-2SO... the interrogation droid that came with Tarkin I think? And I did get Huyang. I do plan to get R5 eventually but not for $26.
