I got ma set pre ordered at Target.  I should have ordered two, but I thought these were also going up on Pulse and wanted to get a set there as well.  Is this 2 Pack going up on Pulse?  It says it is on the front page, but Yakface and Toyark don't mention it.

I was way late to the game and missed out on any chance at ordering these but I saw the price and thought, no wonder they sold out so quick.

Has Target done that before?  Not honored their own price on a preorder?

They did the same thing with GI Joe Grunt, and not only were all the pre orders honored the figure was still half off when it hit shelves.

If I find these on shelves for $25 I will buy two of them instantly. And then come back a few days later for a couple more if they are still there. This is a great set.

That Grunt situation is a perfect example. And the way Target's being run these days, I wouldn't be surprised if the troopers stay at $24.99 till release and are corrected shortly thereafter.

They did that with the single-release Marvel Legends Mojo figure too.  MSRP on it was $54.99, but Target put it on shelves for a week or so at $41.99, then corrected it.  Maybe they'll fix this clone 2-pack before release, maybe they won't, we'll see.

They screw up over, and over, and over, and over again these days, usually every time in some new way.  Usually screw-ups aren't in our favor, so these underpricing screw-ups seem a bit like karma when I see them happen.  😎

If these packs are how they rerelease Rex and not an Archive release or an updated figure, he better be easy to get. If not, that's gonna be some bull shit. Released twice and near impossible to get both times. Makes me wanna quit sometimes. Luckily the packs so far haven't been must haves.

In the Marvel threads, people were listing their favorite figures of the year. I think mine for Black Series... it's between the Vader with the duel damage and Malgus. I liked Malgus's design in the cutscenes a lot but the figure is way better than I expected. Also a big fan of the mythos-ish Kenobi, Marrok, and the surprise for me is Jabba's Palace Chewbacca. I don't really know when he was released but I got him last month on sale and yeah he's a chewbacca with a different head and a chain but I love him.

For Star Wars my figure of the year is Bastilla. But there are a couple honorable mentions that were close. Malgus is a pretty good one except for his breakage issues, at least the one I have. And he needed double knees and elbows. But they don't do those in SW cause, raisins. The Wal Mart Obi Wan is up there too. But his flaws also keep him from getting number 1. Bastilla is near perfect. Double elbows is all I would ask for and again, SW doesn't do those. If CW Ahsoka would've had even just double knees she would've been a contender. But that, her knees being fragile, and the fact she can't hold her sabers well drops her down. Mara Jade would've been in the running if she had her actual Saber and proper blaster instead of having Jainas weapons, and also not being able to hold ithe saber hurts her like Ahsoka. As I don't have Galen yet, since the single release isn't out, I can't attest to him, but by the look of him he could be a contender for next year, depending on when he comes out. And Malak is pretty good, but his outfit inaccuracy drops him down too. That head he has though is really good. Most of the Ahsoka series figures are nice, but they all have issues that hurt them.

My Marvel one would be the 97 Wolverine if anyone cares lol.
