Well I hope whatever Anakin Clone Wars they release has a new headsculpt (and preferrably a new body) from Ahsoka show. They seem to be doing a lot of figures from that show so he's already a missing addition.
I'd also take a new Padawan figure (head/body) from Obi Wan.
My Nihilus has a hard time holding his saber. Not sure why. The hand looks fine, and the saber looks proper for it, it looks like it fits perfect. But he keeps having issues with it falling out or wobbling around when i move him. Kind of annoying. Those pics are awesome BTW.
I prefer Revan with a blue blade instead of purple. From what I read about him, iirc, he started with blue, then got a green one later, then red when he went sith, and the purple was only in the force echo scene in KotoR2 when you fight his force echo. In the first game I always had him with blue, even though I chose the sentinel class with yellow. I always felt Revan was so adept he would be good at both sides of the spectrum, so Sentinel makes sense for him.
@shootingthegalaxy Great shots of Darth Nihilus and Revan! I can’t seem to get the “like” button to work consistently on mobile. Love those shots. And love those figures. The Knights of the Old Republic games were a lot of fun back in the day, and they were filled with fun character designs.
@trunks3540 Oh really? I didn't remember that detail about his saber being blue. Which saber hilt is supposed to be his original Jedi one? The Jedi Revan figure packs him with the more, imo, sith looking one in purple. Thank you!
@akatsuki Thanks! I love that we have this many Old Republic Era figures in TBS. But we need more! Fill out those ranks.

Funny enough they got that part right. The one with the spikes on the sides is his Jedi saber. That's the one that was blue, then he changed it to green. I don't remember the in story reason, but I think it was just a design decision by different artists and writers. They tend to do that. Like Jaina solo was supposed to have Pink but then it changed to Purple somewhere along the way, and it's been so long that I don't even remember if they explained it or not. The one that looks more plain (and like you could actually use it without hurting yourself), is the one he used when he went Sith. And also the same design he used in the game. The reason it looks that way though is because at the time they didn't want to design different hilts. Every character used that same hilt in the game. And the double blades were all the same design as well, sort of like how the Bastila figures hilt actually is, but more pixelated. I'm not sure if it was a graphical limitation or just a cost cutting measure, considering in Jedi Academy you could change your hilt design. And those were both on og XBox. If they had made the game, even just on 360, I'm sure there would've been hilt designs, because TFU had them. But as is, they're just basic tubes if you look at them. There are mods out there for pc that give you different hilt designs so I'm thinking it's probably more of a cost cutting measure then limitation of the graphics.
This is a quote from Wookieepedia. I'm copy pasting as I can't upload pics from my phone, just links from other sites. I'll also link the page.
"Revan constructed this lightsaber during his retraining, and made it with a blue blade. After the defeat of Darth Malak, Revan changed his blade's color to green, using this until his capture by the Sith Emperor."

I actually read through more of the article and I guess the blade did change to Purple at some point while he was in stasis, or after he got out, so in the MMO The Old Republic in his appearances it is indeed purple. Apparently it is not explained why. I never played TOR so I didn't know it was purple in that. It was only Purple for his Force Echo in the 2nd game, to my knowledge previously.
Also, I think it's funny that the spiky one is the one they say he built after he lost his memory and retrained, but in the game its the plain one, cause again, I would guess, the graphical limitations or whatever. I am honestly not sure how the spiky one came about design wise. I would have to guess the comics or novel covers. But the plain one is what you see the whole way through the game (for everyone), when he's a Sith at the beginning and after he builds the new one. If the remake ever actually gets made, I'm wondering how they will do the hilt situation.
I had Huyang on the shelf almost an hour before he leapt off.
Just cracked open Marrok and man, Black Series continues the Star Wars tradition of making one-hit wonder characters into ridiculously fun action figures. This guy's so smooth, got wonderful range of motion, the soft good cloak is a nice visual but doesn't get in the way, the little orange highlights help break up the monotone design... he's just a great toy.
Also didn't realize til I opened him he's got a whole Snake Eyes thing going on in his helmet design, too.
I'll be shocked if we ever learn anything else about him in canon, but he just landed on my desk instead of with the rest of the figures from the wave, so there's that.
He's using an inquisitor lightsaber so I'm wondering if we will eventually see him in a comic or something alongside some of those. To my knowledge though, all the inquisitors have been shown at one point or another, and I don't think they get replaced when they die, so who knows. I could be wrong about both those thoughts. He honestly kinda looks like he would be a Knight of Ren too, but hes not lol. Whatever he is, his design is really cool. I'm happy with the figure over all. It's got flaws but it's still a fun one. I was thinking of maybe finding him a head and going with my headcanon of that's what he looked like before he became a wraith. But I've been too lazy to do almost any of the other things I have been wanting to do. Just not in the mood. I haven't even rearranged everything I've gotten recently to fit. It's all just wild westing on my shelf right now. XMen mixed in with Star Wars and some Power Rangers, with TF animated Prowl looking like "do I belong here?" And I need to dust too. Just haven't felt like it.
Finally got a shipping notice for Hera from Amazon. All of my shipped orders have taken far past the 2 day Prime shipping window to be delivered, but it says she's still due today. Guess we'll see if Chopper decides to take her on a last minute adventure somewhere.
Agreed on Marrok, both character and figure. I always thought it was a cool design, and I kinda like that we still don't know much about him. I know we get the gist of who/what he is, but I wouldn't expect more than maybe a fleeting mention of him down the road. Which is honestly fine by me; a lot of Star Wars characters are cool because they're mysterious.
His figure was a nice surprise too. I know a few people had mentioned how they didn't like the new joints, but I love them! Smooth is a good way to put it- he can hit all sorts of poses quite smoothly. I'd love to see the joints implemented again, especially in Force users, maybe even some Clones for more dynamic poses. Just as long as the joints hold up over time.
I'm pretty happy with Marrok as well. Like Docsilence said, the orange bits break up the monotone of his costume. Really cool helmet, cloth cape actually looks good to me, poses well. Solid figure.
Now WM had the rest of the Bad Batch S2 figures, but no Fives and Jesse. Le sigh.
What would you guys think if they rereleased figures with swapped parts for improvement? For example, a Baylon Skoll with different legs to make him taller. Like legs from another figure (say they saw the customing we were doing and basically just did it themselves.) Same with figures like Shin Hati, Darth Nihlus, etc. I am mostly thinking leg swapping, but I am sure it could apply for a number of things. (Pre Vizla on a new mando body.) I also know most of my examples are newer figures, but you get the idea. Heck, even the HK droids just with a new coat of paint to make them more accurate. I would like this idea, and I assume it would be cheaper for Hasbro to do?
