Ooooooo,now you're talking!
I know it wasn't as huge as 'no, I'm your father', but few things are and I really enjoyed Krayt. I would really love if Hett got to be canon again. Give him a D+ miniseries to give us some more live action clone wars, throw in some.of that youngified Hayden they love to do, hell have an Ahsoka guest appearance with young Tano again, and even an episode with Ewan McGregor on Tatooine. It was some great star wars in those stories. And let Krayt and some of his very unique followers be villains of a new trilogy.
I've been sitting out the past few Star Wars shows, but that'd definitely pull me back in. I really love Krayt and the One Sith, they felt like such a natural way to continue the legacy of the Sith without spitting on Anakin's sacrifice in Return of the Jedi. I thought it was a great idea to make them completely unrelated to the Sith of old, both in terms of lineage and philosophy. Just using the Sith name and their superficial aesthetics to strike fear into the galaxy. You still get cool red lightsaber guys named Darth something or other, but they still feel like something new and the final destruction of the original Sith order still feels like it means something.
A series documenting Hett's life would open up so many cool opportunities.
All true. Could be really awesome, and I'd be fine with Rey taking them on in Episode 10 if need be.
Wal mart apparently shipped my Obi Wan. We shall see if it's actually him in the box. Should be here tomorrow, along with my shipment from BBTS. Everything has been hitting hard all at once. I'm running out of room lol. I'm gonna have to rearrange some stuff, and possibly put some away, but I don't wanna put any away lol.
I got an email about my Obi Wan as well. The doubt in retailers certainly adds another element to collecting.
@vondoom they can just make him a deluxe.
I would love a comic accurate A'Sharad Hett. Not just a Tusken head on a Jedi body but this:
I would buy they heck out of an A'Sharad Hett / Darth Krayt two pack. One of my favorite lines to collect was the Star Wars Miniatures tabletop game and they made beautiful minis of tons of those stray Jedi and they made beautiful lil minis of both. Both would be great in Black Series.Â

It was a good day for me for Star Wars. Walmart shipped Obi Wan and slated to arrive tomorrow. I headed to Game Stop at lunch on the military post I work on. I was surprised to find in box SW ROTJ Chewbacca, Clone Wars Pre Visla, Ahsoka Marrok and Professor Huyang. I received the Pro Member price and being a war vet received 10% off, too. I'm glad window packaging is back but I will miss the figures height shown on the side of the boxes.

I didn't even have to use my Firespray, I gotta say it was a good day.
Turned out to be a Star Wars-y day. Got the final Showbi Wan figure from Wal-Mart, along with Huyang and Marrok from GameStop. Excited to crack them all open later, but they all look really nice in package (nice to be able to say that again, now that the windows are back). Now only missing Hera from the wave and I'll be caught up.
Also managed to find the new series of Bounty Collection at Macy's. They apparently weren't in the system, so after sending me to 4 different floors trying to find someone who could help, one of the managers gave them to me for $1 each. Only snagged 2 Loth Cats and Baby Ahsoka, since who knows when we'll get the former in Black Series, and we may never get the latter. Was tempted to go back and grab Chopper, but didn't wanna push my luck.
Much needed too, since my landlord had to come over for an appraisal today, and apparently didn't know that adults really collected toys, let alone to the extent that I do. Was a bit awkward/embarrassed as I tried to explain it all, but the judgement was clear. Don't know why I take those sorts of things so personally. So of course I make myself feel better by getting even more toys. 😀Â
I was at the closest Walmart to me yesterday and saw around 7 Bad Batch season 2 Hunters on the cardboard shipper on the side of the endcap opposite the action figure isle.
Well Walmart came through and I received Fives and Obi Wan. I'm glad I kept checking Fives page and at random times or I would have missed him again. There were only five left when I added to cart. Me and my daughter both thought it was going to get cancel once again.
I swear, each new Kenobi is my new favorite. They just keep making a new one just a little bit cooler for me than the last, and the Walmart one arrived today is totally my new favorite.Â
I now have a Kenobi-dedicated storage box for the ones I can't display. He has his own case! Only Luke had that many figures before now in my collection. and I am NOT complaining. Crazy old hermit has always been my favorite.Â
Yeah, I was kinda on the fence with this Kenobi. Do I really need another Kenobi?! But after I opened him, yeah, he is a great figure. No ragrets
@ru1977 The Kenobi figures are such an anomaly for Black Series. They FEEL like a money grab, but each one is uniquely cool and I have no regrets about each one. My only struggle is I can't display all of them at once. They just knocked it out of the park with all these Kenobis.
