Been seeing a couple posts saying that the pipeline reveal of the Heir to the Empire set is actually a 4 pack, not a 3 pack like originally stated. Don't know if it's true, but that would be nice. Hasbro is usually pretty good with picking their pipeline photos and not having someone in the picture who's not included.
I know it's just me daydreaming, but I do really hope they throw in a regular Palpatine head. I don't even care if it's entirely screen accurate, but give us the red robe "I Am the Senate" look, make the black hooded robe a soft goods piece that goes over it, and throw in a melty and non-melty head. Boom- I'd automatically buy 2. Throw in some electric hands along with the saber if you wanna make it deluxe, but it would be such an easy way to get us 2 heavily requested looks in one fell swoop.
He's only gonna come with 1 lightsaber most likely, let alone all that other stuff. If he's a "deluxe" he might get a couple extras, but these aren't Marvel Legends lol. They won't even put shit in they already have tooled for a single release Galen. Sucks tbh.
The Sidious I would want is probably the most 'boring' one, which is his episode 1 and 2 look. Just Palpatine with a black robe on. That said, I definitely think his senate duel look should be done first, and his Windu duel look second. They definitely stand out way more.

Yep, Yakface is saying it will include 4 figures: Luke Skywalker, Luuke, Mara Jade AND Joruus C’baoth
Surprised we're getting another Mara Jade. Hopefully this one has a new body.
I hope we get Dash Rendar too... he's my biggest Black Series want now.
Fair points. The office duel is definitely certainly deserving of its own release. But if and when they get around to it, it would only make me want Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar all the more, and at least Agen seems pretty low on the list for them.
Got a few figs from my big GameStop order- Ahsoka, Omega, and the Magnaguards. Paz should be here tomorrow; still waiting on Huyang and Marrok to ship.
Ahsoka is really nice. Some really good sculpt and paint work. I like the new posed hand, too. Allows for some dynamic poses, and the thicker lightsabers mean she can still grip them pretty well. It's a well executed figure.
Omega is a surprisingly nice one, as well. A definite step up from the previous release in terms of feel and quality. I can't seem to find her old bow, but the new one feels different, from what I remember- are the plasma "strings" thinner? Don't know if I'll keep her displayed with it- I can never seem to get bows posed well with my figures, but I like that they included the second one to peg into her back. Definitely gonna swap her unhelmeted head onto the old figure.
The Magnaguards are a mixed bag. I'm so happy to finally have them- I've loved their look ever since ROTS. Sculpt and paint-wise, they're fantastic, with all the new pieces and appropriate weathering and such. Again, maybe it's just me imagining things, but their electricity bits feel like a thicker plastic? They're nice- don't feel quite as flimsy, and they stay on the staffs quite nicely.
But all the sentiments I've seen others say are definitely echoed with me as well. First, they suffer from the same thin-ness as the regular Battle Droids (though these are easier to stand than those guys). Both of mine had their legs bowed outward at the knee from being held so tightly in the packaging. Not that I necessarily think it would be any better in the normal plastic bubble, but maybe if they hadn't gone quite so tight with securing them in their little body bags. I'm sure it's an easy enough fix with some heat, but I do worry about them holding up over time.
Also, their little shoulder pads pop out with even the smallest bit of pressure. I'm sure they can be glued, so it's not too big a deal, but an odd little detail.
Finally, got around to opening the Holiday Purge Trooper. Love it- such a charming, colorful figure. More of these, please. And more Halloween releases as well (starting with a re-release of the Skelton Trooper- still bummed I was never able to snag one). I'd love to see a Black Series version of that Frankenstein Chopper.
I would love for Anakin and Padme to be part of an all-TPM wave. We deserve a better Qui-Gon (but realistically, they won't bother - they'll just re-issue him, if we get him again at all).
The figures look great, though, and I'm excited to get them into the collection. My wife is also really excited, since Padme is one of her favorite characters and she hates the white AotC outfit they always release her in.
More EU would be awesome. Imperial Knights have been at the very top of my Black Series wishlist pretty much since the beginning, so I always keep a sliver of hope alive in me when they release a new EU figure. Maybe someday.
And, as almost everyone else always mentions, Dash Rendar is a must.
At least a quarter of my wishlist is EU anymore, so yes please keep that going.
I think it’s hilarious Hasbro found a way to do a Luke variant in a set with a Luke. Both will have different looks that look nothing like Mark Hamill.
Thwipp!
Black Series is another line I wait for discounts almost exclusively. The only ones I'd paid full price for are Jabba and Jabba's Palace Luke, which I believe to be from the Rancor modeling. Beyond that, everything else is "wait for a sale" until they come out with Hammerhead. Emperor with another facial expression and baby Ani isn't moving the needle for me.
What's the hook of that Phase II Clone Trooper and Battle Droid 2-pack? To get them both with damage scuffs on them, or is there some new tooling I'm missing?
Anybody else think Padme's head looks a little too big and/or wide? Especially the forehead area?

There is something off about her, to me the villain eyebrows are what is throwing me off.
Yeah, she does have a bit of that "Snapchat Filter" face going on. I know it's supposed to look determined/focused, but it comes across a little "evil villain who had some plastic surgery done."
Anyone still need the Duel's End Vader? Not sure how rare he ended up being, but I found a single one on the pegs today and figured I'd see if anyone still needed him. Hit me up if so.
Her hair is pulled very far back on her head. It's weird, and it looks like it's part of her headsculpt so it's not something we'd be able to fix with a hair reposition.
Hey all, Fives is back in stock.
