I probably won't be able to find either of them then. Kinda sucks because they're both really cool, but if I miss them I miss them. We really need Rex to be rereleased.

 

I still have faith in my two and a half year old Rex pre order at bbts.

 

How have they not cancelled that yet? I was told a long time ago they're not re-releasing it and all the sites were canceling their preorders from people. It's kinda funny yours is still up. I can't imagine him not being an archive figure at some point down the road. He's too popular not to be.

Baylon - YIKES. That's a (not)huge mistake. Hasbro - we know you use Google. You didn't look this guy up when you got your reference and it seemed a little short?

Shin's hair color bothers me, but platinum is hard. The actress looks a bit like Rachel McAdams so I'm curious if her face might lend itself to Christine Palmer customs!! That's the thing I really want to test.

Also, I got Morgan and Hasbro did an amazing job on this boring ass character. The fade in her hair is so, so well done, the likeness is fantastic and has an expression without much expression, the waist is good, the little paint there is works and she's poseable. Her c-grip hands with no accessories are silly but Hasbro really didn't skimp on her figure.

I don't think undersized figures are ever a mistake, they are just saving plastic on figures they don't think will sell all that well.

Then they shouldn't have made Marrok at all.

I kid, but not. Utterly ridiculous to have such a cool costume design be literal hot air.

The sad thing is when i saw they made marrok before Baylan or Shin I started to think he would be a big part of the show or some big secret reveal.

If the backlash is enough, it wouldn't surprise me to see a Krrsantan situation again (Hasbro can say he was comic based all along, but even so, he's not terribly accurate there either), where they release this Baylon and then down the road, a more accurate release, maybe with a cloak or something to push him into deluxe. Not that they should be encouraged to do that either, but it's better than nothing. I'm sure plenty of customizers will figure out a solution long before Hasbro does, though. It's not enough to get me to not buy him, but it's definitely a bit of a bummer.

Well... spoiler alert but... we're likely to get another Baylon figure eventually anyway just for the recasting.

@ru1977 You're not wrong, sadly. If Lucasfilm plays their cards right and keep the costume the same, all Hasbro would really have to change would be the head anyway. I doubt that's why Hasbro did it that way to begin with, but it's a happy accident for them.

I agree it's not why they did it. Just a bummer of a situation to begin with, but if he's really too short that's probably enough for me to cancel. I really love scale, so having Chewie and Vader tower over Leia is important to me. And of course I'm putting Baylon and Shin next to each other, so that's gonna bother me every time I look at them. I'm not really in a place in my life right now where I feel like spending money on things that annoy me.

I realized the other day the credit card I used to preorder the Wal-Mart Kenobi with the T-16 toy is set to expire this month. If that figure doesn't come out in the next couple of days, I have a feeling the preorder will be canceled. 

I'm not too bothered by it. It'll probably go up for in-stock eventually, and if not, meh. I really just wanted it for his accessories more than another shitty Kenobi on that extremely limited body when all we really want is an updated Episode 3 Obi-Wan. 

I'm actually really looking forward to this new wave with Marrok and Pre Vizsla.  I just can't believe it's likely to come in this month right along with the Ahsoka Padawan and Phase II Clone Wave.

Hasbro loves just dumping product these last couple years.  Multiple Waves, from each property, all at once.  Because the hell with our other needs. Toys!

I saw the height thing with the Baylan figure, and while it's disappointing, it's not major to me.  And I definitely want a figure of Ray Stevenson as this character. 

I'm glad they've seemed to improve the Shin Hati face sculpt though. It looks a lot better.  

I get paid tonight and am excited to ship my POL. I have two TCW Ahsoka's in there, Omega s2, Huyang, Chopper and Marrok. I am so excited to get these! I really hope the clone trooper doesn't hit for a bit, because I ordered four and could really wait until my November paycheck to have those come in lol.

I fully plan on putting the alt face of Omega on my S1 version, people have said it matches and I think this is one of the best decisions Hasbro has done in a while. I kind of want to try Landspeeder Luke's technique on HK-87 and maybe Marrok afterwards to make both darker. 

Once I get my clone troopers on, I fully plan on making one of them a custom of my Clone Commander OC I made as a 3 3/4" figure while I was growing up watching The Clone Wars. His name is commander surge, I still have all my old versions of him. TCW phase 1, TCW arc trooper, TCW phase 2. He had green armour and also had a shoulder pauldron and skirt with duel pistol holders. I will need to figure out how to get those parts, but I am super excited to finally make a figure of my OC clone commander in 1/12 scale though! 

Ahsoka might be one of my most anticipated figures, but since she never shared the screen with TCW Anakin and Obi-wan in their armour, I really hope we get an early season version of her next! Either TCW movie or the new Tales of the Jedi / Ahsoka outfit. It will be great to do a photoshoot with her walking away from Anakin in the temple though, and I am excited for it.

For toys I have gotten recently, Ezra is amazing (which I think I mentioned before) but I have been playing around with him some more and def need a S4 version of Kanan, Hera, and Zeb. Sabine I really hope gets repainted into all of her looks, s2, s3, and s4 specifically. Maybe do facial scan of the new actress, but with Chopper coming in, I really want to make a later season ghost crew. Ezra is so much fun to pose and play with.

My BB S2 Hunter I have been bringing to work with me, and he is a blast. Once I get paid I might go grab Echo and Wrecker from Walmart. Either way, Hunter and Omega will be a great duo to have from this season, and I am absolutely loving this hunter.

I have also finally had time to play with my Old Republic figures. Malak and Bastila are both so much fun, though I like Bastila a lot more. Malak looks awkward in most poses, I think I am wishing they would have done a bit better with him. Where his upper and lower half come together always looks off to me, and I am not a fan of his elbow or knee articulation. Bastila is a great figure that I have almost no issues with. I really hope Gamestop gets a Gaming Greats dark side Bastila in the future. Malgus is a beast, and I love him. I want to play around with him a bit more, but he might, objectively, be one of the best Black Series figures produced. With only him and Revan from The Old Republic, I really hope we get at least a few more figures. That game is the only part of Legends that is still going strong, and I feel they could pull a ton of characters from it. 

Lastly, Sabine from Ahsoka. Wow, this is a great figure. I have posed her so many ways, with her helmet, without, and she is just fun. A huge improvement from the old Sabine, but tbf I hated her headsculpt and kept the helmet on at all times. With this Sabine, I am keeping the helmet off mostly, as it looks incredible and the actress who plays her is definitely Sabine in my eyes. 

I am so happy that this line is going so strong right now, and excited to see where else it goes! My biggest issue right now is not being able to find Fives, but I will get him eventually. Maybe Walmart will put him online again soon. 🙂 

PS has anyone gotten the holiday Ewok with the intent of making a Kneesa figure? I am considering it, as I am not sure if we will get her in the line otherwise.

Yea but you order Jesse and they send you Lando Skiff Guard instead cause Wal Mart. How many times did someone on here order Fives and they kept sending him the wrong figure? I think it was 10 or so. F Wal Mart online.

Malak has alot of problems with his joints. They limit his posability. And he's not even accurate to the game unfortunately. They took some liberties with him. He's still a good figure. But Bastilla is definitely the star. And my Malgus broke. I posted about it a few days ago when I got him. He has no thigh swivel. His knee joints feel like they're gonna break cause the peg is too thin, he needed double knees. And mines lower torso peg broke. It was kinda redundant anyway, and I feel like if I got another one it'll just break again, so I just glued his torso back on there and now he only has one torso joint instead of 2. He looks cool though. He's definitely pretty. They just could've done better with him imo articulation wise.
