Works if you can expect them to still be there in the couple hours they take to get around to it, if it is something in demand they'll just be gone before they are collected.

@ru1977 It works, I've used it quite a few times.  Got two Duels End Vader's that way just this last weekend actually.

Thanks, all! Sorry to bore you all with my silly drama, but at least I know I'm amongst people who understand the hassle.

Most of the time I have no issue with store pickup, even with exclusives or harder to find ones. It honestly depends on the location. I used to have a friend who worked at the Wal-Mart back home, and he said that most of their pickup orders were taken from the stock room- they had an allotment for pickup that would be kept in back, and the rest would go out on the floor. I'm sure not all locations do it that way, and I'm sure things have changed, but it's usually pretty successful, especially if I place it after a location has closed. Same with Target. I probably have a 90% success rate over all.

Now, delivery, that's a whole other story that I almost never have luck with (though I admittedly rarely try).

Finished Ahsoka. It was awesome. I want more. And figures. Now I want figures. Most I want I have preordered. But we need Ezras new suit and Ahsoka in her white getup. Marok is still really cool looking, idc what anyone says about him being a figure. Although, I wish they did explain literally anything about him/her/it. The reveal was, confusing? And underwhelming. I'm trying very hard to not post spoilers cause I don't know how to spoiler tag. But let me tell you, I'll buy almost any figure they do of this show. And I really hope we get a season 2. Also, it would be really cool if they rereleased Chopper with the new leg and Jacen in a multi pack together and only made it like $10 more or something like the Din and Grogu pack a while ago from Target. I haven't bought Chop yet cause I just haven't been able to justify spending that much on that small a figure. And Jacen would be the same way. I got Yoda on sale. And I skipped all the ewoks and astro droids.

Also, poor Ray Stevenson. He was wonderful. He will be missed.

Am I the only one that thinks Shin is hot? Like, they even named her Hati. Looks like a play on hottie to me lol. Rosario is still my girl, but I would definitely consider Shin as a good backup after the divorce lol.

This summation could be for almost any plot element in this show - and yet you are still calling the show "awesome"?

In actual toy news, BBTS sent me a message that Marrok and Huyang are arriving soon. Glad we’re not too far behind Canada and the UK these days. 

Eh... Star Wars should be fun popcorn. Good characters, intriguing villains, definitely, but ultimately it should be fun to watch and look at. Marrok fits that for me. I won't fault anyone for being disappointed by any aspect of this show. It wasn't the best Star War, but I also feel it wasn't the worst. It was entertaining, at worst, for me. Not perfect, but I dunno... I probably blew my wad of "what? What?! Why didn't they-? If they'd just-! How easy would it have been to make this better by just-?!" with the prequel trilogy. That's why, when the sequels happened, yeah they were disappointing but I kinda traipsed through them (SPOILER ALERT FOR A NEARLY FORTY-YEAR old film) like the cast of Clue discovering yet MORE dead bodies at the end of the movie. Ah, yes... shame. Anyway.

🙄 That part obviously wasn't directed at your comment. But honestly, there's about a million places online to share your hot takes on TV shows (including on this very forum!) so I think it would be swell if we kept the toy threads about...toys. 🤡 

I was watching Skywalker Hendrix's review of Commander Appo, and I'm legit impressed with all of the updates Hasbro added to the clone mold. I figured they'd slap a coat of blue paint on the 2020 clone mold and call it a day, but they added:

-O-ring shoulder paldrons

-A chest overlay piece like the new Stormtroopers

-Two vertical hinge trigger finger hands

-Bicep swivel

-Free floating knee pads that can actually cover their knees

I never had any 501st clones, and I'm glad I waited for these. I hope we see a new Rex using this body as a base. 

Someone liking something you don't like doesn't have anything to do with high standards, low standards, good taste, bad taste whatever. These are things people tell themselves to try to elevate their opinion. It's meaningless. hate what you want to hate. But don't be a snob about it.

I received Duals End Vader yesterday Saturday from Target and Commander Appo a few days before. It's strange to me that I would receive from Amazon on Saturday Morgan Elsbeth but nothing on Ahsoka herself as of yet. Amazon did send me email notices today early around 1 am that Ezra and Sabine will be shipped Monday but still Ahsoka is Nov 2, lol. I'm in the same boat as others with Fives. My daughter and me placed an order on Thursday when supposedly Fives was in stock for shipping but woke up Friday morning to a delayed notice for both of us, lol. It is what it is but hopefully our orders will go through.

Is there a difference between these two R2D2 figures that are coming out around the same time in different packaging?  One is in Mandalorian packaging, the other in ROTJ packaging.

Nope. No difference. This happens with all of the anniversary figures. They’re eventually rereleased as-is in Galaxy packaging. 

Got notice from Amazon that my Sabine and HK Assassin Droid should be delivered Monday. Ezra is coming Tuesday from GameStop. I'll be stoked to have the wave finished not too long after the show. Saw that the next wave, with Hera, Marrok, Huyang, and Paz, is starting to show up in Canada. If I was just a smiiiidge closer to the border, I think I'd head over. Really excited for that wave.

Been keeping an eye on the Fives order I placed for shipping. Hasn't shipped yet, but also hasn't been canceled, which is promising. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up yet, but if it does end up coming, I'll throw it up on here for whoever wants it.
