Got the Mandalorian Shriek Hawk figure. I always love these Mandalorians. And this figure is no exception. Very cool. Although the Privateer remains my favorite due to the cool blue colors.
I’m excited for Skeleton Crew. I’m gonna buy the toys. But man Hasbro team read the room. The reveals were such a momentum killer. I know they had to be revealed due to timing. Maybe just a few then something else?
Thwipp!
He's on Wal Marts collector con page. He is a Wal-Mart Exclusive.
Star Wars The Black Series Clone Commander Cody Anniversary Action Figure (6”) - Walmart.com
@akatsuki I like the colors of the Shriek Hawk more but the Privateer is my favorite generic Mando so far because he's just so smooth - just a great range of motion and dynamic figure, absolutely love him. Target actually send me an extra one by accident and I was able to pass it off to a friend who didn't have one yet and it's always cool to be like "want this guy? He's my favorite Mando but I already have one" and just hand someone a free figure I'm already a fan of.
He does look good but if i order him by himself wal mart will charge me a stupid minimum price fee of like $8 or some dumb shit. I'll wait and see if there's anything else from there that goes up for preorder and I'll order them together.

Being in that room, you could feel the audience lose interest. It was easily the coldest reception to new figure announcements. I know those figures meant nothing to me. But I felt collectively like we had to be polite to that cute woman announcing it all.
I'd imagine there's no pre-order for the Skeleton Crew figures because they're ready to go. Wasn't the show initialy supposed to be released before Acolyte? So they've probably been sitting on them for a bit. Which is nice; means that I can order them as I'm watching if one of the characters really stands out. I mean, it feels silly, since I'll undoubtedly probably end up getting all of them sooner rather than later anyway, but still. Knowing they're there if I want them, and not 6-8 months down the road, is nice. It's nice that they're doing the whole crew in one wave. Wish the Mantis crew was as lucky! I'm cautiously optimistic for the show.
But man, the lack of other reveals was a bummer. Still no Stranger figure. I know we have Toy Fair coming up early next year, and there'll undoubtedly be other livestreams before then, but still. At least give us a tease or Pipeline or something.
Choosing to reveal the full Skeleton Crew line-up in a room full of un-won-over fans was a poor logistical choice. But the presenter did a great job of not letting the lack of reaction phase her.
And she was right - these figures look GREAT! Jude Law (hate that they just said "actor likeness" again) looks not right, but his body and the wolf character do look great.
I REALLY hope they'll release a Padme on the ROTS cardback. It'll probably just be Anakin and Obi-Wan but I would like the main trio on A matching cardback.
@schizm If YakFace is to be believed (as they often are), we'll at least get Dooku and R2 in the ROTS line. I'm sure, like you said, Anakin and Obi Wan are a lock (hopefully Obi Wan gets a better head than the Archive one). There's plenty of other candidates too- Grievous, Mace, Kit Fisto, a Clone Trooper (though I feel like that spot was taken up by Cody). Heck, it would be a good way to get out the new Yoda for the folks who missed the 2 pack. I'd love to get a new Padme or Palpatine, or some out-of-left-field choice like Tarfful, but I feel like the anniversary waves are almost always complete reuse, and when we do get a new character, it's a trooper that they can build from existing parts.
But I am curious to see the final lineup. The Phantom Menace wave had, what, 6 figures (even if some of them were exclusives), and Clone Wars had 4? So it could be anywhere in that range.
I opened the new Ahsoka today. Pretty decent, but has the new legs without thigh cuts, make it a little harder for her to stand. That and her ankles don't like to bend up enough to help her stand well either. Most of the figure looks new. May be a couple reused parts. The new head looks really good. And the lekku are slightly longer but they make the arms flay out a bit, hard for them to go straight forward. She is also a slightly darker shade of orange for her skin. So putting this head on the old figure may look a little weird. All in all she's pretty good, but those legs and her having a hard time standing keep her from being top notch. I still like the older outfit better. But this one is still nice.
I also bought 2 Destroyer Droids, but as I dont have the space to display them currently they're staying in their boxes for now. They do look really fricken cool too though.
And this is what I decided to do with Redeye and Mixer since we never saw their faces on the show. I wanted to make their heads unique so, I did some paint. Redeyes elbow pad also broke so I just pulled it off and made him more unique.

Nice! Are those the AliExpress figures? About twice a month I go on there and start putting a few clones in my cart then change my mind and empty it. I have several of then already, but keep bailing on buying more.
I don't want to spoil the excitement people have for this wolfman pirate but he's way off from an accurate Shistavnen. His legs are wrong and I hate it. He's supposed to have whatever the technical term is for "doglegs".
I just ordered some socks to get the price up enough for free shipping. Nice socks are always good to have more of.
@red_ogre they are. They used the new mold that has the free floating knee pads and armor overlays instead of solid chest pieces. They're really good aside from the previously mentioned armor overlays. But that's a Hasbro mold problem, not an ali express problem. The heads are from the battle droid 2 packs I got, swapped them at the neck. No name white clones don't need unhelmeted heads imo. So they donated theirs to Redeye and Mixer, and since they never took their helmets off in the show, I could come up with something unique for them. They never did get phase 2 armor, since they both died in their phase 1 armor. But I really like the looks of them in phase 2, and I love me some clones.
I really wish I could've got Waxer and Boil, and Dogma and Kix. But they're sold out now and I don't know if they'll ever come back in stock cause ali express isn't like an actual store like bbts. So who knows if they'll make more or not, or just stick to making new figures.
@yolk thats a good idea. I should see if there's something I need just to get over the threshold.
