Got off work early and needed to return the Holo Ahsoka I bought from Walmart when she was $14 (still too much for a base, which is all I wanted). Found Peridia Ahsoka at Target and she was $13.99! With the sale going on I was able to get her for $9 and change. For a figure I was wanting but going to hold out for the inevitable release with her cloak, yes, thanks, that'll work great! 🙂

I really like her subtle smile. Hasbro nailed this likeness.

@normdapito Oh yeah, for anyone paying attention, they should be obviously easy to tell apart, but if you have no interest in Star Wars and are just rushing to fill out online orders, "blue guy in Boba Fett helmet, check, says Mandalorian on the box, check"... easy mistake to make I'm sure. Not like getting Chewie and Threepio mixed up. I'm hoping my second order is the right one though. Now to find a home for this extra privateer since I don't like to army build anymore.

Forgot I'd ordered a Shriek Hawk online back when they first went up. The one I picked up the other day was a pickup order at the sale price. Anywho, the first Shriek Hawk just got delivered. Probably won't end up keeping him, especially since I got one for half the price. This was the first Target package I've gotten with the "Pilfer Proof Tape". Wonder what happened for them to have to start implementing tape that lets you know if anyone's already been in the box (which is weird, because, other than the wording, it looked like the regular Target packing tape, so I don't really know what the big deal is). 

Got an email from Amazon that Jecki should be shipping soon now. She was moved to the 22nd but now said she should be here Monday.

Yeah, got the same Amazon email for a bunch of stuff- another Commando arriving Monday, Maul, Cassian, and Dedra arriving Wednesday, Jecki arriving Thursday, and a bunch of Marvel Legends arriving throughout the week too. Gonna be a busy, expensive one for me! My Amazon driver is gonna hate me (moreso than they probably already do). I'll be quite happy to finally have the latest wave and the Acolyte wave complete.

Second time's the charm! Target sent the correct Mandalorian this time. I just looked at the boxes side by side and man, I don't blame any Target employee who mixes these two up. 

I think the 'hawk might be my favorite color palette they've used for a generic mando so far. 

I found a commando at Gamestop today. I already have 2 in my PoL from BBTS but man he looked so cool I had to buy him. So now I'll have 3. Used my $5 monthly thing so it was less then retail. And man was he worth it.

Also got the new Target Mando in the mail. I like the design but all the color variations bother my ocd. I'd be fine if it were different colors, if it were symmetrical, but it looks like a rubix cube. Otherwise it's not a bad figure. Had to mod the skirt though cause it was too stiff on the left. So now it floats more freely. I messed up a little though and it looks kinda choppy on the one side. But it's fine, cause it make it look a little more ragged I suppose. Still need the Walmart 2 pack Mandos. I'm gonna have an army lol.

I bought a Happy Hogan head off ebay for Paz Vizsla. I had to drill almost all the way through the hair piece just to get it to sit down far enough to not look like a giraffe. It doesn't look bad now, but still a little high. I can't drill anymore though cause it'll come out the other side. And I think it's partly the upper neck holding it up anyway. But it was cheaper then buying the exclusive one with the gotee. Now all my Mandos have helmetless heads except the armorer, which I'm not sure i should even try to find one for her anyway since she's the one who's like "don't remove your helmet." But any suggestions would be hot.

Amazon delivered Jecki today. So, I like her. She's a good figure. But her lightsaber is a bit gummy, not as bad as Shin or Baylan, but still too bendy. And her legs don't have thigh swivels, like some of the new figures. I'm not sure I like this new joint. While it is more anatomically correct, it impedes some posability. But it's not like they care about that anymore anyway, with single jointed knees and elbows, and not being able to hold the sabers well in most poses. So, she looks nice, but she doesn't pose the best. Not terrible. But not as good as I would like. And she's too small for a Meetra custom so, that's out. Still looking for a good body for that.

So, I was messing with my clone troopers since I got a couple new ones. And I remembered one big reason I don't like the new mold. The chest armor is lopsided. On all of them. It's really annoying. The overlay isn't symmetrical. At least the old bodies were solid and both sides were the same.

Looks like a new Commander Cody is coming, according to YakFace. It'll be nice to upgrade finally- the old one is nice for vanilla poses, but not good otherwise. Wonder if they'll go back and redo all the old clones on the new body, like Bly, ROTS Gree, etc.

Got Jecki, Cassian, Dedra, and Maul delivered yesterday. So happy to finally have the Acolyte set complete (for now). I like Jecki; the colored lightsaber hilt is really nice. I don't necessarily disagree with any of the critiques others have said about her, but he's well made overall. But now I really hope Hasbro announces a Stranger figure sooner rather than later. Maybe this weekend at NYCC?

Maul is a great upgrade over the original. Namely, he can actually stand without his legs splaying out. Haven't fiddled with him too much, but the articulation is great, and his lightsaber feels a lot sturdier than the old one. Most double-bladed hilts I've had so far are so bendy when the figure holds them with both hands, but his seems to be holding up so far. Don't know if I'm entirely sold on the face- it looks great, don't get me wrong, but not sure if it's entirely young Ray. Like, I kinda see it, but I also kinda see more of the animated Maul head they used for promo back then. Still, a great upgrade.

Dedra and Cassian are some of the best likenesses we've gotten in Black Series, I feel- Dedra especially. Looks like they just shrunk poor Denise Gough down. Cassian is nice and solid too- no real nitpicks. It feels so strange yet so nice to actually have a figure from something that hasn't come out yet. Feels like the old Sneak Preview figures for the prequel movies back in the day. It's a cool outfit, a cool blending of Andor and Rogue One, and I'm excited to see it on screen.

I thiiiiink that means I'm almost entirely caught up on pre-orders. Just waiting on the Shriek Hawk 2 pack, but I wanna say everything else that's out/coming out soon has shipped. Been a pricey week, but definitely worth it.

Yeah, this Commander Cody looks great.  He is even in Retro ROTS packaging and comes with a little Emperor Palpatine hologram.  I guess we'll be getting a few Retro carded ROTS figures in 2025.  I'm sure the long-rumored Obi Wan and Anakin updates.  Then who knows who else.  I wish we'd get Shaak Ti or Agen Kolar for the first time.

Figures they're gonna redo Cody after I bought a head for mine that was more then the figure. Bet Rex will be coming soon too just to get people to buy him again after the rerelease. He needs a new head anyway, but still. They need to fix the lopsided armor overlay.

Pre ordered Commander Cody.  But jeez, 8 months until it releases.  Of course, this is a Hasbro ETA.  So, it will probably ship in 2 weeks.

Not being able to pre-order the Skeleton Crew figures is a bummer. Hopefully Walmart will list them on their website and if not well I guess I want get them. 

Aside from Omega, I rarely look forward to the kids in a toy line but the two adults revealed for Skeleton Crew are so deeply my Star Wars aesthetic I'd order them show-unseen. Did they say no preorder? Black Series hasn't been super tough to find so I'm not too worried about it, but wouldn't mind knowing roughly when they'll go up, cos I can't wait to have a wolfman in smuggler's clothing on the shelf.
