Thanks to the Target sale, it's been a good droid day.

Just saw a leaked photo from a Skeleton Crew figure, and I don't think this is a spoiler since we know nothing about the characters but just in case: 

If we get Lak Sivrak and Voolvif Monn out of this, I will never care again what we get beyond that.  Those two in the Black Series would be on their own, a complete collection.

Even if the show ends up being a dud (I think it looks pretty fun so far), that's one cool looking figure that I'm sure will lead into others like it. I may be the only one thinking it, but being the Halloween/Christmas fan I am, I'm kinda hoping it'll turn into another holiday figure. 🤣  I know we got a Were-Wookie, but a proper Werewolf could be fun too!

Skeleton Crew is supposed to be really good.  I really have high hopes for it.  

I got some figures in today.  I got Shin Hatti with cloak from Target, and then I got the Captain Enoch and Night Trooper 2 Pack.  I almost didn't get it, but I'm so glad I did.  Enoch is so cool.

I got Wal Mart Baylan today. Figure isn't bad. He does come with an orange blade but it is still way too long. The cloak is pretty good in neutral pose but with his arms up it rides up a bit. I still like it. My issue though is it doesn't look like Rey to me. I mean, there's a resemblance, but like, it's not spot on like some newer figures. That holds it back. And it does look a smidge short, but not terrible as long as you fixed Shins height.

Ray was such a unique talent. I hope they find someone who can do him proud to replace him. I've heard Liam Cunningham mentioned as an option a few times and while I love Liam and would like to see him as his own original character in SW some day, I don't dislike that suggested recast at all. Maybe there's some big, brawny aging Irish actor who never got his big moment who could step into the role, though. I love when someone surprsies you later in their career with a great performance. 

Got Shin 2.0 today. Next verse, same as the first, but I liked the first figure and the cloak is a nice edition. 

I've had the biggest influx of Black Series figures in years. Got Cassian, K2, Dedra Meero, Thrawn, Baylan, and on their way, Shin, 2x Shriek Hawks. Sadly not an OT figure in sight, but pleased with what I've opened so far.

Went and picked up my Shriek Hawk yesterday (I keep wanting to call them Night Hawks for some reason). Nothing too out of the ordinary here, but I quite like the design. The skirt really adds to it, and it's just nice to finally have a Mando that's only partly blue, instead of completely blue. Excited for the Shriek Hawk 2 pack to come out, whenever that may be. Hopefully we can start getting some more colors up in here; isn't the Mandalorian Judge supposed to come to Black Series as well? Was that pipelined, or am I just thinking of the TVC version?

Jeez, Walmart now has Baylan and the enoch set on sale.

Very rare screwup by Target on my Shriek Hawk - they sent me a Mandalorian Privateer (which I've already got) and now the Shriek Hawk is out of stock, probably because of the sale price (I got charged full price and it shipped before the discount). On the upside, hey, they just issued a full refund and I don't have to bother returning the figure, but man, I WANTED this figure. Guess I'll be screwing around on eBay for one later. (Sold out on Target's site and I'm in a region that frequently just doesn't get restocks on toys for some reason.) 

I'm mad, but I guess asking people who are underpaid already to tell one blue Mandalorian dude from another while rushing orders out the door, accidents are going to happen. 

EDIT: Hilariously, 20 minutes after processing the refund Target alerted me the Hawk was back in stock. Let's see if they send me another Privateer and we do a little dance, but looks like the old in-stock alert actually still works...

I know right.  I just got these things and now they are cheaper.  Oh well.  I'll pay full price and support the line.

I finally got around to getting Momaw Nadon.  I'm excited to get him in.  I love getting OT and PT characters the most.

This also happened to me. I had a Shriek Hawk preordered, then ordered a second one along with Classified Road Pig on sale to reach the $10 off $40 threshold. Both arrived yesterday, but the one I ordered with Road Pig was the Privateer instead. However, the preorder was correct. I'm going to attempt to return the Privateer with the PO Shriek Hawk order, but hopefully they accept the explanation that the incorrect item was sent.

Once you have them in front of you to compare, you'll see there are plenty of differences, but definitely would be tough to tell apart if you're not into Star Wars.
