Leia and Luke are exactly what I wanted for years. I'm very excited for them and mildly annoyed that I'll never make back any money on my earlier editions.

I feel like Luke and at least Leia have saturated the market for the most part.  I'll look for farmboy Luke on sale this Christmas.

I'm in for Dagan and the new Luke and Leia. I'll probably try and pick up Luke and Leia later if they go on sale.

Cracked open a couple of figures I've been had in the box for a few weeks.

- Revenge of the Sith Sidious is surprisingly cool. He's got more ROM than I expected and the face sculpt is really creepy.

- I kinda rage-bought the SDCC Maul on the speeder because I couldn't get Cobra Commander (I AM A RATIONAL ADULT!), regretted it, kept him in the box for a bit... but dang, they really did do a nice job with him. The soft goods are some of the best work they've done so far, and it's nice to have him moving without plastic draped across his legs.

- Grogu and IG-12 is a cute gimmick. IG-12 has kinda bad ROM, but the lil engineers have a lot of personality. Honestly, I went from "Why did I buy him" to "okay, he'll be a way to display Grogu without worrying he'll fall off the shelf and disappear for the cat to eat."

I have my Grogu in the pram hovering in front of Din. But the IG 12 is tempting. I'm still not sure if I wanna pay that for it though. Does he stand well or does he have the same shitty legs IG 11 and 88 do?

I don't like Mauls cloth skirt. It's just a thin mess that feels like it's going to rip. The cloak is cool. And the body itself isn't bad. But he's better on the speeder then off with that skirt. And the lightsaber does not wanna stay on his belt, like at all.

Opened the IG-12 set yesterday, and I quite like it. I was expecting it to just a bit of a "Meh", but it actually surprised me. The IG droid is a BIG improvement over the original; I can see what made it a "deluxe" figure, even if I still don't quiiiite agree it needed to be (but at least they gave us Grogu and some new Anzellans for the price). This one actually stands really easily, and the plastic feels thicker, which is nice. The sculpt is noticably better, and the individual parts of his head spin, which is really cool. Haven't tried putting a blaster into his claw hands yet (then again, I don't think he ever uses a blaster when piloted by Grogu anyway, I just want to see if he can), but something tells me he may struggle a bit with that.

Grogu, while obviously a vital part of the set, is just okay. I haven't gotten any of the last couple Grogu releases, so I can't say if there's anything new on him, but he does look better than the 2 Grogus I already had, which were some of the first releases. He fits in the cockpit nicely and doesn't rattle around at all, though I can't quite get him to actually hold the controls, though, to be fair, I haven't tried that much; I did see the levers are on joints, so I'm sure if I fiddle around with them, I could make it work. I really like the Anzellans, though. I'll give credit where credit is due- they gave us 2 new sculpts, and the paint on both is great. Alongside Babu, they all look really good. They've definitely become some of my favorite aliens lately. I never thought we'd get any more than Babu, but I'll take it!

I wasn't expecting to like the set as much as I do, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing an updated IG-88 (or regular IG-11) release with the new, sturdier parts.

Also, BBTS sent an email saying that Ahsoka Thrawn would be hitting my POL soon. Wasn't expecting him just yet, but that'll be great! Especially since the Enoch set is due soon too.

@trunks3540 Sturdier than the previous releases, but he's still just a little top heavy. I kinda wish they fudged it a little bit and gave him oversized feet so he'd stand better. But overall the legs are less gummy and more stable than the previous iteration.

These pre-orders moving up are getting ridiculous. Now Imperial  Armored Commandos are supposed to be shipping out next week about 9/25 from Hasbro Pulse .

I didn't know Thrawn from the Ahsoka Series was shipping.  I just realized I had an e-mail from Pulse that he shipped.

I can't wait for the Dash Rendar pre order to go up.  I'm so happy they are doing these Shadows of the Empire figures.

Then Hasbro can give us a Tatooine Biggs:

Then they'd have all the parts for a pilot Biggs!

I got Sol today at Gamestop cause I had my $5 dealio. Umm, the likeness is good. But, what's up with his body? It like, goes down into an unnatural V shape and he has this big gap all around his waist. So I pulled his torso off and drilled down into it so it sits lower and looked like ge actually fills out his clothes. Otherwise I can see this body being used again for other Jedi. But that is a glaring issue. He also has a hard time holding his saber with both hands. He doesn't get much poseability with 2 hands, he gets like, 2 poses. His knees are also a little loose. I may try to tighten those. So, it's not a bad figure. But I'm glad I didn't pay full price. I am looking forward to Jecki though. Depends on how tall she is, I may get another one and try to use the body for my Meetra Surik. But we shall see. The head I wanna use may also be way too big for that body.

So Yord was delayed by Amazon so long for me I forgot he never shipped, but he's now supposed to arrive tomorrow. Funnier still--because of the delay I got him more than 20% off. Can't complain, though I do wish they would some day go back to shipping figures before the show/movie again.

Got IG-12 and Grogu and I love it. The quality of the droid is light years better than the original IG mold. The fact that he can house Grogu in his chest like a mech may be one of the silliest/coolest developments in modern Star Wars. Maybe one of my favorite Black Series purchases this year.

Thrawn hit my POL. Might wait until some of the others from the wave start to hit before I ship him, though. Only have 1 other thing in my POL, but I know as soon as I ship him, a bunch of other things will start to hit. He's one I can wait on, especially since the next few weeks are looking to be a Black Series overload.
