Just picked up Mon Mothma and this figure is absolutely beautiful! The sculptor is an asshole for making the heels two drastically different lengths. I never have issues with heeled figures, but these heels aren't even close to the same length.
That said, seeing this beauty next Holdo just shows why soft goods should never be a thing at this scale. Agatha Harkness from Marvel Legends is another great example of how much better plastic looks.
It makes me want a Theed Palace Queen Amidala ASAP!
Is this why I'm having such a hard time getting her to stay upright? I've got the right leg splayed out but she's been very hard. The heels don't look like different lengths.
But yes to everything else you said! 🙂
So, first I will say that Krssantan arrived and I love him almost as much as I thought I would. So glad I skipped that ridiculous slapped together repaint effort they released previously. BUT.... doesn't he feel a tad short? I felt like "Santo" was big even by Wookie standards and this figure is shorter than my Halloween wookie from last year. Oh well, still cool to have.

No.
Krssantan is probably a good size. But that probably means the Chewbacca figures were not. Too tall, and like R2-D2 they are course correcting.
I'm not against it, but I would have liked a bigger Krssantan figure too.
I’m glad Krrsantan is the correct size.
SHF R2 on the left, RotJ Black Series center, original Black Series R2 on the right--the new R2 is a huge improvement in scale and really comparable to the SHF. Really, only the paint keeps the Black Series from beating the SHF.
New R2 scales great with 3PO
Accessory storage!
This new hair piece on the Lightcruiser Luke breathes a whole new life into the figure. So much better.
Swappable chest piece!
Start of the duel look.
Oh, god. I don't think the Black Series has ever had such a massive upgrade before. Not just the obvious photoreal, but the articulation is leaps and bounds better than the original Jedi Luke.
That face...!!!
I still think the SHF Lke squeeks out a victory over the new Black Series, but it's down to preference. The SHF has slightly better articulation and way more accessories. But I prefer the black Series headsculpt.
Figuarts on the left, RotJ Black Series center, ESB Black Series on the right
What was Hasbro thinking with this flesh color? Obviously it's the SHF on the left, here.
Missing the Hebrew letters detail.
SHF's severed hand looks much better.
As much as I tried, I could never get the helmet perfect. And yes, I even watched YouTube tutorials. It's not great. Maybe a hairdryer or hot water would help, but...I'll just display him unhelmeted for now.
This is the ESB Vader. Note the black lenses, the more detailed chest box, and the side to side left wrist hinge for subtle Force choke posing. :p RotJ left, ESB right
The Figuarts on the left has not been dethroned, sadly. (I say that, but I really do love that SHF figure--it's practically perfect--with a custom cape)
Latest Ahsoka episode had me wanting so many figures! And my daughters loved the character designs for some of the aliens in this one.
Yeah. That episode was a joy and I want basically every new character/creature that appeared on screen.

SpoilerAhsoka latest episode:The remnant troopers look imposing. Enoch looks and sounds awesome. The bandits had such a cool samurai style to their armor. And my daughters want a pet crab alien now.
Everything you said is true for me as well. Except *I* want that last one you said.
But yeah, this episode exploded my wishlist.
@schizm yeah they are noticeably different lengths, on my copy at least.
Take a look at yours, if it's the same as mine it'll be noticeably obvious.
@nanigans Thanks for taking the time to review those figures. The skin tone is pretty disappointing on Vader. Not digging the red lenses either. Ah well, I was really looking forward to that one, but now I may just leave him carded when I get mine.
R2 and Luke look great, such huge improvements. The sculpting and paint do look sharper on the figuarts R2, but I'll take that over the figuarts anyway because those little tabs on his doors have always really bugged me personally. Can always throw a wash on r2 to bring out more details. It still wont look as sharp as the figuarts, but I bet it will still look great.
Agreed with everyone on all the characters from last nights episode, wow what a fun 47 minutes!
Krrsantan got here yesterday, and he's a chonky boy! Glad I never picked up the comic version- he's certainly worth the wait.
Luke should be here today from Amazon. Really looking forward to him. Never had a Throne Room Luke before, but it's one of my favorite looks for him, so it's about time!
As for last night's Ahsoka:
I always have a hard time not getting unique Stormtroopers, so I'm probably good for at least two of these guys. Gotta have a grey helmet one and a non-grey, then Enoch is a definite. I'm not even sure if I like that helmet because I find it REALLY unsettling for a Stormtrooper to have a face like that. But I think I like it, heh. Unsettling in a good way.
Thrawn, I've always had a hard time with this casting. I know he did the voice, I know he's a fantastic actor and he's good as the character. but still, something about the look doesn't work for me. And I admit I'm not even a Thrawn fan. But I think a figure of him will probably be like the Hera one for me where I'm just not feelin' it. I did finally break down and order Sabine though.
I would also be down for a couple of those bandits. Star Wars Samurai stuff always makes me a sucker. Boba Fett's pants in Mandalorian, Ahsoka's shoes, hell yeah.
I agree about Enoch, though. The blank, unmoving face is quite unsettling. Giving Death Mask vibes. I'm excited to learn more about him (I can already see the Marrok 2.0 talk of who he is starting up again. 🤣)
As much as I'd love the little turtle guys, I see them being more difficult to do in Hasbro's eyes. Completely new parts, and less opportunity for reuse. But if they ever do another creature pack, I'd love to have them included.
