That's why I hope the Yoda and Gree pack eventually becomes easy to get; we just don't get new Yodas all that often. We have far more Grogus than Yodas, which, while it makes sense, feels wrong. I know Yoda doesn't really change all that much- he can't really disguise himself, and he didn't wear any Clone armor in TCW, but still. The only other Yoda we'd ever really get would be if they ever adapted that Young Yoda concept/fan art with the dreadlocks. At the very least, I hope that the Yoda from the Gree pack sees a single release. I know they wouldn't include the council chair too, but maybe a hoverchair, or some fancy force-jump diorama like Grogu got in the training 2 pack. Or even a swappable head so you can make PT puppet Yoda. Or heck, double up on the body and give us a Yoda & Yaddle 2 pack.
Speaking of Grogus, my IG-12 with Grogu and Anzellans should be here today. Has anyone else gotten theirs yet? Does he feel any sturdier than past releases?
After a lot of thinking about it, I canceled my Acolyte figures from my PoL. They've been in there long enough that I only got BBTS credit, but that's not a problem as I currently have 58 items on pre-order. I was going through said pre-orders and realized that I doubled up on a few so culled those too.
@joshsquash729 I forgot about that Yoda since I wasn't even going to try for that set. Yes, I also hope he gets a single release!
My thoughts too. I much prefer Gree with the full body green from episode 3 that we already got. Maybe if he came with an unhelmeted headsculpt, but as-is, I'd just stick him with the rest of the generic clones, and I gotta cut back on those, unless they're significantly different in some way. So I'd either offload Gree, or just wait until a single carded Yoda release.
I wouldn't mind getting that Yoda too but he went quick when he was up. Like I didn't know he existed before he was gone already.
For some reason I really like Gree (I think I ran him a lot when I played a ton of Star Wars Miniatures? I miss that game so much) so I didn't mind that he was a two-pack with Yoda. Turns out I only have two Yodas at the moment, so a third, in a different look, is a good thing.
Speaking of "Yoda," I got the Grogu and IG-12 set today. What a RIDICULOUS toy. I mean, it's adorable and I like it and Star Wars should be ridiculous, but Baby Yoda in a Cheap Knockoff Gundam is just hilarious.
Luke and Leia are up on Pulse
I pre ordered Luke, Leia, and Dagan Gera. All look like really good figures. I was most excited about Dagan today. Always glad to get more saber wielders. As far as the Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor figures go though, I can't believe we still haven't got the Ninth Sister.
Got the battle droid on a speeder bike in today. Love it, awesome ride. The stand is great and the bike looks exactly like it should. He comes with his hands and feet tied with plastic straps to the handle bars and foot pedals, and until my daughter asks me to cut those off so she can put a girl on the bike I'm leaving him strapped in.
@supercamel-1982 it would be a deluxe with a mold they probably can't reuse. So dedicated. And shes huge. I'd guess they haven't even wanted to try and tackle her yet, especially when they have other characters they haven't touched from the games.
Agreed. Your logic is flawless trunks3540. Definitely a deluxe figure without a lot of reuses (if any). That being said, I want all the Inquisitors, the Ninth is in both Jedi games, and I want a toy of that big inquisiting bastard.
Inquisiting. Thats a word, right?
So STAP right out of the box review…
It’s good…
It’s not great.
sone articulation I didn’t expect. New paint weathering on the droid. STAP stand base is quite posable. It needed to be heavier. I’ll glue some weights on it to get those super dynamic tilting.
Due to packaging one handle bar is squenched. The packaging is great!
I’ll need to play with this some more. It costs a lot so I kind of want to see the value besides it’s a Black series vehicle.
Thwipp!
