It kind of blows my mind how they didn't include the poncho in the Ahsoka line Ahsoka.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore, but come on at least throw something in that seperates her from the last release.  (like a screen accurate head sculpt or the poncho)

 

By Hasbro's definition, you'd then be dealing with a deluxe figure, and she'd be $32.99. 🤣 

Also, anyone else had trouble getting some of their recent figures to stand? Both Wrecker and Malgus have SUPER loose joints on one of their feet (oddly enough, the left foot on both), so any time any weight is applied to it, they keel over. What are some tricks for tightening it up?

Yeah, true on the deluxe thing. And I won't pretend the cloth parts are easy/cheap. I don't really know, but I assume they take more effort and material than simple pouring plastic into a mold.

My Malgus seems to stand up pretty well though I admit he's leaning against the wall in the back since he's a beast and towers over Revan and Nihilus!

I've always thought that the cloth would be the cheapest thing to make considering there are no molds being made for those.

@asm for all I know, you're totally right. I've done sewing and I can't stand it. I only do it for Fett costume stuff anymore, but it's one of those things where I kinda feel like people can charge what they want for it since I certainly don't want to do it.

I can't imagine the poncho takes any more fabric than the other soft goods we've gotten- Vader, Leia, Jedi robes, etc. I'm just being facetious. But I did find it strange that they didn't include it with the release of the single figure for Ahsoka. Maybe it's still close enough that they're hoping people will still buy the Din/Ahsoka 2 pack? Dunno. But at this point I'm half-tempted to pick up a 3rd party one and keep it on my existing Ahsoka, rather than just buying the inevitable re-release.

I was actually looking for one with no success. Have you found one, and if so where?

Ugh. I wonder if I should just start making doll clothing for my Jedi. Can't be that hard. I've made a lot of people sized robes so obviously it'd a lot less stitching...

Man, looking through Hasbro Pulse, it looks like a lot of stuff is getting ready to ship, not just for Star Wars, but other lines as well, as Hasbro gears up for another product dump.  

I have got to stop pre ordering.  I have really cut down on what I pre order, trying to get just the most important characters (either personal favorites, or ones I think will sell out quicker), and then pick up the rest at my leisure.  Yet, still every month I plan for a certain amount of stuff to come in for sure, and Hasbro ships that out PLUS so much extra s*** I end up spending way more than I want.

I see a lot of things that weren't supposed to ship until October, November, or December getting ready to ship in days or weeks for the Star Wars, GI Joe, and Marvel Legends 6" lines.

And that's getting common, and I try to plan for and anticipate this stuff.  I'm still not doing well enough.

And that's just Hasbro!  I collect Mattel Masters of the Univers, Boss Fight HACKS, DC Multiverse, and other stuff.

But yeah, Krrsantan, Ahsoka, Sabine, they are shipping this month.  And I bet the Wave of ROTJ 40th with Vader and Luke end up shipping in the next week or so, as well as the ROTJ Deluxe Jabba and the rest of the Wave Ahsoka and Sabine are in (Ezra, HK, etc.)

Not November........NOW!  Screw it Hasbro, just charge me right now for every toy you are releasing for the rest of 2023. Charge me twice.

OH. And in more positive non ranting news, I found the Target 2 Pack of Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane today.   Really nice set, and I'm very happy to have a Vanth figure out of the Boba Fett armor.  It was funny, the Target I was in said the set was Out of Stock.

Yet, throughout the store I found 2 sets lol.  But I was happy to get it.

I believe rebel10 customs did an Ahsoka cloak. I know there were a couple floating around before the purge from, I believe, her, and another cloth customizer, but his name escapes me currently. You may be able to find some on Instagram or etsy, I think they may be on there. Rebel10 does alot of stuff and it's really good work. She's my go to for cloth goods. But I never did get her Ahsoka cloak. I got 2 of the Din Djarin capes she did. And I got her astonishing Emma Frost cape. They're both amazing. 

@supercamel-1982 Yeah, that's my feeling as well. Looking at the YakFace notifications of products arriving at the Hasbro warehouse, and looking at all my pre-orders, methinks I'm in for a very expensive few weeks. But hey, who needs to eat when you can have cool plastic on your shelves?

Well, Wal-Mart actually came through with my Tech and Commando replacements, I'll be darned! I really like Tech; he's arguably my favorite of the group anyway, but this updated figure looks fantastic, and the fact he actually has his goggles with the helmet off is a huge plus! The colors on the Batch's season 2 outfits really pops, and I'm happy it translated well into figure form. Holding out hope (hopelessly) that somehow they find an extra case of Hunter, Echo, and Fives laying around so I can complete the team.

I do wonder, though- I always hear about why X character has to be a deluxe or more expensive, and a lot of times it comes down to the paint apps (supposedly). I know there's also unique parts and all that. But these Bad Batch figures seem to have a fair amount of unique parts and, at least in the case of the Wal-Mart exclusives, a bunch of different unique paint apps, and yet they were all normal priced. Even Wrecker, who was previously a deluxe figure with a deluxe price. Don't mean to beat a dead horse or start anything again, it just got me wondering. I don't think I'll ever be smart enough to understand it from a business point of view. I was made to buy plastic, not use critical thinking. 😝 

Is there a reason why Tech shows to be $41.60 being shipped and sold by Walmart at that price? Any chance they might adjust it?

Ahsoka Episode 5 spoilers

I really want figures of Jacen and Ahsoka the White. Also, they 100% should hold off on releasing the new TCW Ahsoka and redo the face with that little actresses' face so it can match up more with the live action TCW Ahsoka, then they can rerelease SoM Ahsoka in archive with her face as well. That would be my wish.

Who knows where they come up with these prices? I jumped at the chance to get Season 2 Wrecker when I realized he was cheaper than Season 1 without sacrificing any accessories and getting a better color scheme to boot. Target just put up Python Patrol Tele-Viper with Trubble Bubble for preorder at $10 less than the regular version that was  released on Pulse just weeks ago. Gotta appreciate these moments of prices going down instead of up.
