YakFace made a post on their Instagram with a picture of Bacara and the caption "Execute Order 66". Maybe another Clones of the Republic pack coming soon? Bacara has been on my want list for a while now, and now that we finally have Ki-Adi, it would be the perfect time to release him. I think I may want him either by himself or in a 2 pack with a Nova Corps marine rather than to re-release Ki-Adi so soon (especially since he never really wore any clone armor in TCW like Plo or Obi Wan). Provided they go the 2 pack route with the marine, I'd hope we get a single-carded Nova Corps marine in the future, though. That seems like it may be Hasbro's new thing- release an army builder first in a 2 pack, then release it on its own later. More bang for the buck.
Bacara is an awesome design. I think he was the first named Clone I got a figure of from ROTS.
Got the notification that the Last Command set was shipping soon, too. I'd actually forgotten WHERE I preordered it (I swear I'm getting better about not forgetting about preorders, @Ru1977!) but knew I had one set SOMEWHERE. That should be fun.
Having some regrets about swapping a bunch of preorders to Gamestop... GS is dragging their feet shipping and now all the places I had previously preordered are all shipping first. Although I'm not so much in a rush as miffed that I stressed myself out about it. At least I saved like 20% on each figure.
@joshsquash729 - my superhero series is called the Indestructibles (I feel like I'm violating a board rule if I link it, but it's easy to find under my name, Matthew Phillion). It a spinoff called Echo and the Sea and I've got a D&D inspired series called the Dungeon Crawlers, too. Gearing up to table at a few conventions this summer and wishing I was famous so i could do SDCC, but I'm too small potatoes for that.
@docsilence it's a big step. It's still funny though. Maybe you just like surprising yourself. Life is short, catch yourself off guard once in a while!
@docsilence Also...
I posted this article in movie threads but I know you aren't over there so I wanted to see what you think of it:

@ru1977 Y'know, that very word sprang to mind during that first interaction and it was kind of grim. I can see that as a very valid point of view. I did see a counterpoint too though that I thought was fascinating:
The number of viewpoints and angles the Acolyte offers is really unique and, I think, hasn't been appreciate enough so far. Both things can be true: they were trying to colonize this community and impose their beliefs on Mae, but Osha, literally the other side of the same coin, did not WANT to be a part of that belief system and saw the Jedi as an out. There's no clear answer and I really like that ambiguity.
@docsilence you're right. And I don't think they did a one to one thing with that concept, but I really appreciate your reactions, thank you. Rewatching for the finale has given me a much deeper appreciation than the first viewing for sure.
@ru1977 Yeah, they do a good job of not necessarily doing one for one or a perfect balance, but really, really leaning in on the point of view/perspective quandry. For people grumbling about the show, I wonder if they'd see it in new eyes if they look at it as kind of a treatise on some of Kenobi's first dialogue in the entire franchise. So much of it is about seeing the galaxy from a certain point of view and how that informs your sense of right, wrong, or indifference.
@docsilence Right. And with the coven, I keep thinking of Palpatine's statement about the dark side leading to abilities some would view as unnatural. Also the Jedi narrow, dogmatic view. He was right about a lot of things, but also still saw the Force in a possibly limited way. I think the show's view of the Force is very compelling, and it makes sense the creators are portraying it as not so binary. Also not surprising a lot of people are having trouble seeing the coven as not light side yet not dark side either.
OMG, Gamestop is shipping every single figure separately, my partner's going to think I'm INSANE. I didn't just get most of the Acolyte stuff, I got Marvel and Joes too, there's gonna be boxes for days...
(I think I'm going to just chill and wait for Amazon to ship Yord and Sol. I bet I could find them sooner but I stressed myself OUUUUUT with that GS sale.)
Walmart has that Nite Owl for $17 something.
Well shit. I ordered the cheaper one and was gonna cancel the regular priced but it already shipped. It's fine, I guess I'll have 2. I can customize one so it'll be fine.
You can't return at Walmart?
I could, but I also wouldn't mind having an extra anyway to repaint. So I'm not sure it's worth the hassle for like $7 or so. It would possibly cost that to go to Walmart just to return it anyway. I'd have to do it when I got to Walmart next and I don't go there often.
