@ru1977 Man, the Tales of... Inquisitor is such a toyetic design. He needs a figure. (Bariss too.)

We should have had Bariss years ago.  But if we don't get her now after that Tales of the Empire series, I will......you know.....probably patiently wait until they do make her. So, ball is in your court Hasb's.

But on to a figure that already saw release months ago.  When the Magnaguard came out, I knew I wanted at least two.  One to put on each side of General grievous.  When I pre ordered that Wave, I just pre order 1 Magnaguard and planned to get a second later.

Well, like an idiot I put it off so long the figure sold out everywhere and is going for like $40 shipped on Ebay.  I thought I had all kinds of time, because a lot of folks seemed to not like the Magnaguard figure due to its rather thin, flimsy build. But wrong, it sold out everywhere.

But it is thin and flimsy.  So, I didn't want to pay $40 for another when even $25 was pushing the envelope.

But today at a local collector shop I got one new for $25.  So, just so you can all sleep at night, I do now have two Magnaguards to protect the General.

I can fill that toxicity void if you guys want?

I haven't even watched the show. I'm waiting till it's over first. But Ki Adi is a poopie head. I would rather see Coleman Tebor there. Screw you K.E.V.I.N. Feige for including a character no one expected to see in a show no one has a final opinion on yet. And all you people who are apathetic to that decision have a different opinion then other people. How dare you. You should conform to the opinion of the people that haven't made a final opinion just yet. You should be ashamed.

Seriously though, it is kinda cool to see him. Give him a purple blade if he ever ignites his saber. I'd be happy with that.

Agreed that we gotta get the Tales Inquisitor. I don't mind if they "real" him up a bit like they did with the Rebels crew- it's just a dang cool design. Kinda reminiscient of Grievous in that it's very skull-like. We need him, the Ninth Sister from Fallen Order, and the Seventh Sister from Rebels (and Barriss too, of course, but she was barely an Inquizzy). Not that I'm at all bummed to have the Fourth Sister, especially after Tales, but it does feel wrong to have her over the Seventh Sister, whose role was much bigger. I just really like the Inquisitors in general, so give us all of them!

I feel you on the Magnaguards, SuperCamel! Grievous has always been one of my favorites, and by extension, I love his Magnaguards too. If it's any consolation, that's definitely one I can see being re-released many a time. We already have another one coming in the Jedi Survivor 3 pack, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a release that has the more blue-colored deco that some of them have. You know Hasbro loves re-releasing their droid molds! Though it's still surprising we don't have more use of the 3P0 mold for other characters- give us TC-14, you cowards!

I was pulling down a bunch of figures yesterday to sell, mostly from Mandalorian era, just because I feel like I have too much. Trying to streamline. My wife expressed an assumption that I'm preparing to buy something but I genuinely thought she was mistaken.

Now that new helmet is coming and Hasbro proved her right, damnit 

The Stranger helmet from Acolyte? That looks to be the completely wrong color from what was on the screen.

I really wish the Star Wars designers had characters and writing worthy of their designs, because the designs are almost always amazing.

That said, I'm keeping my Acolyte figure pre-orders because I was able to snag all of them at $20. But... I think only Yord and Trinity are gonna stay, because I like his expression and saber and her outfit. Maybe Mae because I like her costume design, if the figure can move under it.

Holy Schmagoly, that was a good episode of Acolyte. Lots of twists and turns, but I appreciate the show for taking such big risks. It makes me need a Smiley figure ASAP. I'll be keeping all my pre-orders too. Regardless of the size of the role, I've really enjoyed everyone so far.

The Smiley helmet looks really nice too, but I may wait to see it in person before deciding. The Clone and X-Wing helmets have looked pretty good in person, but the ones like Boba or Kylo that are supposed to be metal have always looked a little off. I'm not good as customizing and weathering, so it would most likely stay how it looks. That said, I'm not entirely sure how accurate it is/isn't. It's kinda hard to tell with both the lighting of the scene and the surroundings. Dark, foggy forest doesn't make for the easiest time seeing things. There were definitely some shots, mostly when the helmet was off, that it did look a little copper-y.

I agree, after it came off, it looked more coppery.

I've had two Fett helmets, still have one but I repainted both, heh. Still a cheaper option to me than a lot of the more accurate kits out there though.

I'm probably cancelling a lot the preorders but I recently decided I'm all in on OT, everything else I'm just doing strictly main characters, Empire, Fetts, and Sith. Setting limits on myself is gonna make me feel more at ease, heh 

I think the reason the helmet looked more copper colored when it came of was because of the strikes from lightsabers it took before it came off.  The lightsaber strikes burned off the paint. revealing the actual Cortosis metal beneath. Cortosis metal, which is what was causing the lightsabers to stall.

Maybe.  Hell, I don't know lol.

But yeah, it was a good episode, and I am intrigued by this Dark Sider and I want a figure of him ASAP. 

I really liked episode 1 and 2.  Episodes 3 and 4 were weak to me and had what I felt were some bad writing choices, silly writing choices, or things that felt they didn't flow with the lore in my opinion.  5 pulled me back in and I am interested to see how this all plays out over these last 3 episodes.

My son is waiting to binge the whole thing and I know he is smart to do that..but I am too weak to wait.

Some characters I haven’t preordered yet. And after episode 5 I am both more tempted to order them because I actually really liked the characters and yet less tempted. I’m conflicted. 

Darth Smiley is an instant preorder though.

Looks like we're getting an SDCC exclusive of Maul with his speeder and probe droid. Looks pretty good! Offloaded my older TPM Mauls in anticipation of the new one. Wasn't gonna double dip to do each of his duel looks, but that speeder is mighty tempting! As long as it uses the new body, and I don't see why it wouldn't, per se.
