Plo Koon and the first version of Cal Kestis are up for preorder now.
Snagged myself another Plo. Still holding out hope for a Clone Wars version, but I can either keep this one in box or try my hand at a kitbash. Just glad to see him for regular prices again!
I just got Shin & Morgan from Pulse's sale. Thankfully already had a $6 Moff Gideon from an older Pile of Loot (still looking for a cheap Reva), so I immediately did Robo's mods for her thighs & gave Morgan evil MCU Wanda's hands & Retro Doom's green energy effects.
I ended up preordering the Walmart Baylan, which will be my first/only one, so I just need to find a Reva cheaper than Amazon has her before he drops.
I'll still need to get the replacement orange blades, but thankfully the Shin I got has an orange one as is.
I pre ordered Osha today. I'm so happy she has her little droid with her. It was cool they let out Cal and Plo Koon again. I already have them, but I always felt those were two really great figures. So, it's nice everyone got another shot at them.
We need Saesee Tiin so much. We have Plo Koon, we need Saesee. I don't know why I feel they go together, but they just do. Maybe because they were both released for the first time in the Power of the Jedi toy line.
They just need to be standing side by side in my head Canon lol.
DANG IT. I literally took that Cal off Ebay last week because I wasn't totally sure I wanted to sell it.
Those hands on Morgan look so good! Great call.
I like how the repacked Plo says Clone Wars but it's legitimately just a repack of the first one. No clone armor bits. So dumb. I want all the prequel jedi so I'll take whatever they make. And I'll get blades of cool colors for the ones that need it. Like Saesee getting purple and if Adi Galia gets made try to give her an off red for crimson. Not sure if those are available though. I do have some teal ones too.
Surprised I'm not seeing more Droideka chatter. Anyone figured out shields for them yet? Anyone find blast effects that fit on the blaster tips?

It was Robo's idea, but it was an inspired one. The red costume bits on the hands are even extremely close to Morgan's own sleeves. And then the black fingertips just add to the witch creepiness. (Thankfully I only display one of each character, and I've opted for Good Wanda in my MCU shelves lol)
Is the Cal updated in anyway or just a straight up re-release? The original had the face printing right?

It had face printing, but the sculpt doesn't really look like Cal at all, beyond white male, red hair.
Is there difference between the black boxed Zuckuss and 4-LOM vs the retro carded versions?
Don't the retro cards have their names swapped, in true retro fashion?
You are correct. I meant the figures themselves, though (I open my figures). Zuckuss’ jackets look different, for example.
Finally got around to watching this week's Acolyte. From what I'd heard online, I was expecting some huge dumpster fire of cringe, but I actually dug it. Shoulda known never to trust the opinion of angry, toxic fanboys. I thought it provided an interesting new perspective on the Force, and kinda doubled down on the arrogance of the Jedi, since it seems like they're kinda making the same mistake as they did with Anakin. If nothing else, it was interesting seeing Jedi taking children from the other perspective. I still feel like there's more to the story, though-
Anywho, to keep it on topic, I'd take a figure or two. I know the very existence of her figure would send some fans into a fury, but I'd happily take a Mother Aniseya. Maybe a Koril too, if she ends up doing more. I've always found the idea of witches- whether Nightsisters or whatever these Force Witches are called- to be rather intriguing.

Seems like those are the two main reactions: dumpster fire, or interesting new perspective on the Force. But yeah, we should all tune those voices out more often.

Kinda yeah, but also... Anakin was sorta the same mistake, but in a different way. Like they almost learned their lesson, but thought maybe they could go a different route perhaps. but who knows if anyone on this show will even survive to report it all to the greater Order.

SpoilerAcolyte Spoiler/TheoryMother Koril is DEFINITELY up to something. No way she died at the end, and I'm thinking she was probably the one who linked Osha and Mae's minds together. Would be interesting if she turned out to be the big bad, too- not Darth Smiley, per se, but maybe he's working for her.
My thought is... Star Wars tends to do well with adapting Kurosawa, and we're about to get a version of Rashomon.

I've always thought all the different witches were very interesting, and love seeing new perspectives on the Force. Going non-binary if you will. But for some reason, I've never been into any of the witches for figures, outside of Ventress I guess. Even the main three on Ahsoka were really interesting designs, as were some CW witches, but I dunno.
