I really liked the first two episodes of The Acolyte.    It's a good show.

I really like Master Sol, so I'm glad we are getting a figure of him.  I really need a figure of this Wookie jedi Kelnacca though.

So far, Kelnacca and Vern are the two I'm hoping for. Osha would be tempting though. But yeah, so far it's not quite as good as I was hoping, but definitely entertaining so far.

Yeah, I liked the episodes, but agree there could've been maybe a smiiiidge more action. I don't want it to just be swingy, flashy laser swords- I do like character development, but there were barely any sabers used in the first 2 episodes. That said, the fights we did get were good. It's nice that there's clearly some emotion behind the fights, at least as far as Mae is concerned. I also really like the meditating Jedi- was a fun little detail.

Can't wait see Kelnacca in action, especially since Joonas is playing him, and he didn't exactly get the most exciting stuff to do in the sequel trilogy (which I love, by the way, I just felt that Chewie got the short end of the stick in a lot of ways). Definitely need a Kelnacca, Vernestra, and Smiley Boi figure. Osha too, but she's all but confirmed (YakFace posted something last night hinting at her on the box art) It was mostly just nice feeling like I didn't necessarily need to cancel my pre-orders for any of the wave, as I genuinely liked all the characters. Maaaybe one of them (I think ya'll know who, but avoiding saying in case of spoilers), but I'm sure we'll see a little bit more of them in a flashback or something.

@joshsquash729 I did cancel that one, but the trailers gave it away already.

Joonas did well as Chewie (even if he is, shockingly, too short, heh), but I'm happy for him that he also gets to play a character that is all his here.

Original Hunter and Bad Batch Crosshair are available again.

I'm guessing Osha is the TBD character in the first wave of Acolyte figures. Kelnacca will probably be deluxe and they can make two versions of him. Nude and Jedi robes.

It's funny, I'll now forever compare everything to my love of Andor, but Acolyte feels more pure, unironic Star Wars and I think we need a little of both so I'm glad to have it.

And it's funny because apparently Lucas had a 'no Jedi wookiees' rule, but seems like everyone is REALLY excited for Kelnacca.

I'm sure you're right about Osha. (Thanks for that name, LFL..now my phone is always going to fight me to make it all caps.)  I guess you can see some of her on the side mural of one of the other figures. 

Also brilliant about nude Kelnacca. Of course that reminds me of the studio notes about Chewbacca, "the wookiee has no pants!"

Yeah, Osha is the figure that YakFace deduced, since you can see that little bit of Pip. So interesting that Lucasfilm seemed to immediately abandon trying to hide the

and just confirm it once the poster came out. Don't know if it was ever something they were trying to hide, necessarily, or if fans just thought they were, but it's kinda nice- it felt, at least to me, that the show knew fans were smart and didn't really play it as any big reveal. It is odd, though, that because of it, the person who's arguably the main character of the show won't get a figure with the first wave (though one could argue Mae or Sol is the main character/deuteragonist). I do like Osha's getup, though- it reminds me of Antoc Merrick's blue X Wing jumpsuit.

As for Kelnacca, yeah, I'm fully expecting him to be a deluxe. I don't know if I necessarily need a nude 'Nacca- the tunic make him feel more unique- but maybe they could make the tunic removable somehow and kill 2 birds with one stone? I'm sure at least some of his parts could be sourced from Chewie or Krrsantan, so hopefully it won't be too long before we see him in plastic form. And give us a Gungi while you're at it, Hasbro! Give us a Wookie Jedi 2 pack!

I don't know if I'll buy much from the Acolyte but Kelly Kelnacca will definitely be one.
