Got shipping notification for Malgus from Amazon. Should be here Monday. Excited to have it- the reviews I've seen look really nice.

I got shipping notification from ShopDisney for the ROTJ 40th Anniversary Jabba the Hutt re-issue. This has been one of my grails not just in this line, but all the lines I collect since I got into the hobby 3-4 years ago. Beyond excited! 

A little anti-climactic because I don't really have the space right now to display the Black Series segment of my collection (Marvel, DC, TMNT and miscellaneous snagged all the available room), but I'll have to squeeze Jabba and Salacious Crumb in somewhere.

I have a bad habit of just not paying attention to my amazon orders, but several have shipped a month earlier than I'd logged on my nerd spreadsheet. Malgus is the latest. So, yay!

Today my favorite thing about Black Series is the lack of spam.

Malgus is such a great figure, you guys are gonna love him!

I was able to get an order in for an in stock Fives at Wal-Mart, and came here to post but damn out of stock already.  They might be starting to trickle in, so now's the time to probably keep watch!

Got Malgus in last night, and he's a chonker! The new thicker lightsaber is a cool touch too. I'll admit, I really don't know much about him, but he's a nice figure, so I'll have to look up more.

Gonna give it another day or so and then message Wal-Mart about my Bad Batch wave. No updates since for over a week, since leaving a distribution center in Jersey. I could've walked from where I am in Queens and back in that time. Gonna be really bummed they end up just cancelling the order. Even when I win with Wal-Mart I can't win!

@ru1977 The TOR trailers are some of my favorite Star Wars movies. They did a magnificent job with all of them. The lightsaber fights are always beautifully choreographed and the villains have a very real, palpable sense of menace. 

Unrelated... I'm traveling the day of PulseCon. Wonder if they'll plan a solo release of Starkiller like they usually do with the exclusives. I could live without the troopers if I can't place an order on my phone that day but I'll be bummed if I don't get some version of Starkiller.

I believe it's confirmed, or at least heavily rumored, that there will be a regular solo release of Starkiller.

@docsilence Same here! It's great to revisit them from time to time.

EDIT: with the Starkiller figure, I know not everyone shares my anti-pulse bias, but if nothing else, that Andor set not only going on sale for the holidays but also being available on BBTS for even cheaper convinced me to not worry so much. But yeah, I'm sure they'll do a wide release version with far less accessories.

I have to hope that Hasbro knows they can make more money if they release a regular Starkiller a little after the Pulsecon ships, but you never know. (I know that Andor set didn't sell out, but that really was one of my favorite sets of that year. It's been right on writing desk since I unboxed it.) 

I'm sure they do. And they could do some variants with some overlays and maybe a trade of lower legs and/or forearms as well.

I'm willing to bet we'll get the exact same figure with the neutral head and standard lightsaber.  No other accessories cause that's just how Hasbro rolls the Black Series.  Honestly it's fine with me and I'll hold out for that one.

I think it's a safe bet that there'll be a single release Starkiller. As long as he comes with 2 sabers, I'll be good. As much as I want to fool myself into thinking I need all the extra accessories and such, I would never use half of them, and though it may be heresy to say, I'm good on normal Stormtroopers for now. Gotta save my army builder shelf space for new ones coming out.

Yay... finally my Hunter shipped from WalMart.   Still mad I missed the first version, but excited to get this one at least.
