I need a 6" ROTS Anakin. Is it worth it buying this one, or buying a "cheap" aka above MSRP Black Series Anakin, when I know Hasbro will likely produce a superior version quite soon?
SHF Anakin is the way to go, the Black Series Anakin is ridiculously outdated. Even the archive rerelease. Considering how much that one goes for on the aftermarket, you really aren't saving that much money in the long run if you go with it over the SHF.
So I'd say either wait for a wholly new Black Series or get the SHF. The old BS isn't worth it, no matter which way you decide to go.
Phew, those sold out fast. Got Han and Chewie, at least. Hopefully will be able to grab Anakin and Yoda.

Pre-orders on Amiami closed within literal seconds (for Yoda). Not even humanly possible to order within that timeframe.

Here's hoping for Padme and Dooku (with a good likeness this time), if they're doing more prequel rereleases/remakes.
Would love it if they re-release RotS Obi-Wan (literally my most wanted in any line now) but yeah, a new Padme and Dooku (in the correct, darker tunic this time) would be hella sweet. Given Vader and Yoda have both been released with proper robes, it does make me wonder if Leia and Obi-Wan might get more flexible revisions soon too.
RotS Obi has to be coming. I hadn't considered Leia and OT Obi with soft goods; that would be fantastic as well.

Is anyone being charged for the Yoda or Anakin releases set for March? I pre-ordered on Amazon Japan, and my credit card denied a 1 cent pre-authorization charge from Amazon last night as they pretty much always do for any charges from Japan no matter how many I make or how many times I call them to stop doing that.
Two weeks ago Amazon Japan sends me an updated delivery update for Yoda and Anakin of mid-March 2025. Yesterday I get a second delivery update that they will arrive in January 2026.

Thanks for the reminder about Amazon Japan. I don't know what brain block I had that made me forget they were an option. I got Yoda ordered. Now, the last holdout is that damn ROTS Obi-Wan.
@enigmaticclarity I just received the same email, my Yoda is saying 2026/01/05 now. I wonder if it was a mistake or a real delay? AmiAmi and Nin-Nin still say March for the release.
Hobby Search are also reported Yoda delayed indefinitely. Wonder what the issue is...
